This is a fine Apple store and being right in Woodfield Mall, it's always been busy whenever I have passed by it over the years. The interactions I have had with the staffers here has always been good. I tried to buy my most recent iPhone here but that didn't have what I wanted at the time. The helpful greeter gave me the pro-tip to just shop online where I could get an instantaneous idea of the available inventory and location, and then just order it for pickup. Today I attended a free photo workshop conducted by Wayne and it was a good and informative hour and I learned about a fair number of features on my new iPhone 16 Pro. The workshop was conducted by the back wall and over the buzz of active shoppers but Wayne had a microphone and he was used to the buzz though I found it slightly distracting. It was still a quite worthwhile freebie Apple offering nonetheless. Thank you!

I'm super disappointed with my recent battery change. I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max, which I know is reaching close to the end of support. Before my vacation to Mexico, I decided to replace the batteries since it was down to 74%. I didn't do much research because I trusted Apple with previous battery replacements on much older phone such as the iPhone 6s. The battery exchange went without a hitch. After a few days on vacation, I noticed that the phone would intermittently restart for unclear reasons. But it only happened one or two times so I can only think that this was heat or humidity related down in Mexico. At no time was the phone submerged in water. The only time it came in contact with water would be on the ledge in the shower. Sometimes water would splash on it, which was not uncommon prior to the battery replacement and I never had any issues. The only time it would have issues would be if water got in the charging port which I had to tap out in the past. A few days in the phone started restarting every 2 to 3 minutes. I looked online to see what this may be related to, and they mentioned that it could be due to a failing sensor. I checked the panic log, which indicated that there was a problem with something called thermal monitor. Again, I thought this was heat or humidity related. Eventually, the phone restarted almost immediately, and I could no longer access anything on my phone. Then it got into a cycle where it was stuck rebooting itself repeatedly without entering into the iOS. Lastly, it would no longer power on. There was nothing noticeably abnormal however when I came back from the trip and brought it to the store, they noted that there was condensation on the front camera as well as the back camera. After owning the phone for so many years, and having it occasionally be exposed to water from the shower, I've never had a problem with water entering into the phone. I can only guess that whenever they replace the battery, they did not restore the original water resistance seal, which meant any water on the screen must've seeped through the into the phone. Unfortunately, all my photos were lost from the vacation because I didn't upload them when I was away. They offered no refund for the battery replacement which if I never got, I feel would've been better off dealing with the shorter battery life. Very disappointing being an Apple customer for so many years. strong word of advice be careful if you replace your battery. Don't expect that the water resistant seal will hold or have it returned to original spec.

Fast service, always well stocked. I never waited here so I like it pretty much. They will answer all your questions and address all your concerns in seconds. I believe they always give me advice that suits me and I always ended up choosing the right thing for me even if it wasn't sometimes my first choice. So I like that. It is inside of the mall so you can visit a lot of different shops since you are there. It is busy location pretty much always but somehow they manage it well opposite of some other shopping mall locations. I am huge fan of Apple products and I am happy to feel good after I receive service here all the time. I recommend it.

We went t to this store today. A salesperson stated that there were thirteen people ahead of me. So, she took my name and phone number assuming that they would text me whenever a "technician" is ready to help me. More than an hour later I didn't get any notification. This woman (short and heavy set) said that we should've stayed in the store and waited for our turn on to be called in which she failed to mention when she took my information. I asked her what's the point of taking my phone number then?! Worst customer "service" I've ever experienced. I understand that ghetto people come here. But, don't treat everybody the same. I ended up bringing my business to Best Buy in Evanston and bought a new MacBook Air (M2). Apple Store is so over rated!! Go to some local store like Best Buy where you don't have to go in line waiting for hours just to buy an item. Worst experienced!!

I have been a Mac girl, since I was a kid, my first was the old G4 tower! I've had just about everything from iPods to iPads, iPhones to iMacs... about 11 years ago I got my iMac, and well, let's just say the old babes needed an upgrade. Long were the days she could keep up with the updates. So I decided to FINALLLLYYYY treat myself to a new 24 in iMac. 512g 16g Knowing a thing or two about a thing or two, I went in with my list and game plan. Considering I needed a custom order I knew I wasn't gonna be walking out with a computer but I was one step closer to no longer having to transfer all my RAW photos from my camera, to my iPad, to my computer; after converting them to jpeg (I know I know) HAPPY DAY FOR ME!! Only had to wait a few mins before it was my turn, Chris, was super nice and GUESS WHAT, your girl walked out with a 1Tb 16g beauty in blue!! Round of applause to Chris, and the team that helped answer all my questions!

Just to be fair my complaint IS NOT about this location, it is about trying to get my 85 year old…read moremother's FIOS fixed: she has no internet, no phone service and no television service. She lives in NJ and I live in IL, so I can't just "pop over" and try to help her. My mother uses her land line to talk to all of her friends, the internet to send emails, and she watches the news and her favorite shows on the TV. Without her phone, internet service and the television she is cut off from the community of her friends and the rest of the world. COVID has isolated her enough, however, VERIZON has her COMPLETELY cut off from the rest of the world. She says this problem has happened to her four or five times in the last few years. Certainly sounds like FIOS service in Nj isn't very reliable. She called us this evening absolutely at her wits end, she says she has spent HOURS on the phone calling Verizon and can't has not been able to get her FIOS problem fixed. My mother gave us all of the phone numbers she has used to call Verizon to get tech support. It took my wife 30 minutes just to get onto a waiting queue to get tech support. Hold times are approximately 1hour, wow, Verizon apparently really does have an unreliable system if they have that many people calling for support. As of the time I have gotten to this part of my complaint, my wife has already been on hold for over 30 minutes, with no end in sight. So VERIZON, what does my 85 year-old mother who lives alone, and isn't really tech savvy, need to do to get this problem fixed?

In my case, I needed a new screen protector for an older phone that is not supported. Instead of being blown off, they suggested I either contact the manufacturer or they could look in their local stock. I chose the latter option. When they told me they did not have what I needed, they did recommend an outside kiosk to remedy my need. This is Service 101. In the short term, this Verizon location did not get my money. But in the long run, they get my future business and possibly business from other people that read this review. And it is service like this that makes me stay with this Verizon.

Paris was the only one working all day on Independence Day and after assisting 2 other guests before us, he spend 2 hours with us to help port a number, find us the right phones, and set up our plans for us. Just fantastic service, and incredible professionalism and expertise. I never thought I would be smiling and happy leaving a mobile phone store but the great interaction and service from Paris really did that for me and my family.

They didn't have the new phone in stock so they shipped it to us and told us that we had to bring old phone back when new phone is operational. We brought phone back and they changed their tune and told me the the phone was only worth $20.00. If I wanted to walk away from the deal I had to bring new phone back and pay a $55.00 restocking fee. It was a true bait and switch scenario which I have contactied the BBB to report as I am sure they have done this to more than one customer. My concern is that I have been an AT&T loyal customer for over 25 years and currently pay them around $450.00 a month for 5 phones, internet and U-Verse TV. The store Ass't Mgr said that her system wouldn't allow them to do anything else and that the system overrides and customer relationship. I was supposed to hear from the store Mgr. yesterday but didn't get a call. I now have to go to corporate and spend a lot of my time to rectify this bad service. Oh, they admitted that the salesperson who orignially inspected the phone made a mistake but the customer has to pay for his mistake. Public be aware of this store and the employees working there. They don't know what they are doing and don't understand customer relationships and the importance they bring to the organization.
