This store is to be expected--very busy and lively with great service. Apple always has the coolest people running their stores with true passion driving every interaction. I did my first Vision Pro demo here, which I knew could be interesting since I'm legally blind. Regardless, the staff were very helpful, kind, and understanding of my curiosity to see how the world would look to me through Vision Pro. The experience was also favorable when I bought my new iPhone 15 Plus from this location back in September. It was absolutely packed because launch day was just a day prior to my visit, but that didn't impair the staff's ability to provide excellent service. I didn't have many questions about my new iPhone as I am a tech enthusiast, so purchasing the 15 Plus was quick and simple. I went to the Genius Bar at the Willow Grove Apple Store with an iPhone 13 Pro on Apple's own public iOS beta, fully covered by AppleCare, needing one simple thing: a battery replacement bc mine is @79% health. Instead of helping, I was told they won't do any hardware repair on a phone running beta unless I first "erase" it and downgrade to the public OS. No warning when you join the beta, no warning when you buy AppleCare--just "policy" thrown at you after you've already built your life and work around the device. This isn't a casual Instagram phone. I'm a using Epic/Haiku, TigerConnect, Outlook with Microsoft Authenticator and multiple other MFA‑protected encryption tools. Erasing and re‑enrolling all of them is hours of risk, effort, and lock out productivity time, all at the mercy of Enterprise IT. And at Apple, they dismissed it like it was nothing. The Genius Bar guy said that Public Beta is for "developers" testing on "extra" devices. Really? I wonder why they call it public Beta? Apple loves to market "innovation" and invite ordinary users into betas, but in practice this policy treats a paying AppleCare customer as a problem to be avoided despite the fact that we are giving them feedback on their products pro bono. If running the beta means "no repairs unless you wipe your phone," that should be clearly disclosed up front, not buried in ambiguous fine print and quietly enforced at the counter once you have a battery downgrade --an issue which eventually every phone will have. And given the issue, it is completely unnecessary. It's a battery, folks. So: DON'T waste your money paying for Apple Care (do the math $9.99/month x 12 x 5= $ 600...what I fool I was to sign up for that!), and don't give them free feedback by enrolling in Public Beta. Let them PAY "developers" to use their "auxiliary" hardware to help them fix their Beta software products. I left with the same worn battery and a lot less trust in the Apple Ecosystem. Apple, you now not only suck in innovation, but in customer service, trust, and loyalty to the every customers that have kept your stagnant brand alive for these many years. Shame on you Tim Cook. In October 2025, I brought my iPhone 15 Pro Max to the Apple Store at Willow Grove Park for a camera repair while fully covered under AppleCare+. After the repair, new issues appeared that were not present before service: debris behind the camera lens, a growing black dot on the screen, screen glitches, and eventually the entire bottom half of the display turning black. On January 20, 2026, after the device became unusable, I returned to the store. I was told Apple would replace the phone, but it was not in stock and would need to be ordered. Because I rely on my phone for work, I purchased a new phone through my carrier. I was later notified that the replacement was ready. I could not pick it up on the original date and rescheduled, but that appointment was canceled by Apple due to a snowstorm on January 25, 2026. On February 18, 2026, I returned to the store and was informed that the device no longer had AppleCare coverage and the approved replacement would not be honored. The phone was under AppleCare when repaired and when the defects were reported. The replacement had already been approved. Store delays and a weather cancellation should not void Apple's responsibility. I am now left with a defective device that cannot be used or resold. read more

Well folks....I believe a lot of the reviews of this location are based on each person's individual experience. I came here last weekend without an appointment and my needs were attended to very quickly. The associate who helped me did seem a bit rushed but delivered all the necessary information I needed to make a decision. The main takeaway I took out of this last trip was treat your current iPhone like it is a newborn baby, because if you drop it and do not have insurance you will be crying the blues. I had an option of getting a step down from my current phone and paying $249 after trading in my better phone (it was not charging well), another option was trading in my current phone for a replacement of the same exact phone I currently have and shell out $419 : / , or option three which I ended up choosing ; buying a new apple iPhone charger and iPhone cable charging cord for $41 bucks and hoping this solves the issue. Also, I was informed I could have my phone cleaned by an apple associate, but I would have to set up a time in advance as they were very busy at the moment. (For the moment it seems the new charger and cord is fixing the issue, as my phone is charging well at the moment, fingers crossed it stays this way for a long time) Treat your phone like gold ladies and gentlemen as I much rather spend hundreds of dollars pretty much on anything else than a new cell phone. After a significant wait (had an appointmentJ was advised did not have a battery in stock for my older iPhone Decided to buy a new phone nevertheless and was introduced to a sales associate who indicated that his shift was ending shortly and another rep would help me, he clearly was not interested in helping me and was not familiar with their product line Told new rep that I wanted to purchase the latest iPhone17 256, was then advised that they did not have any in stock! could not tell me when more would be available as "phones get stolen from delivery trucks" and "they just arrived sporadically" Since I needed a phone immediately, decided to buy an iPhone16 Rep advised that they could offer 24 interest free financing thru my carrier, t-mobile, but when he submitted my info for same, it was declined and he could not tell me why. Knew it wasn't a credit issue, rep tried to convince me to use an Apple payment venue which I declined Three strikes and Apple store was out! Went to the t-Mobile store downstairs which I should have done first, quickly purchased the phone I wanted and my financing went through easily. Had to visit this store today to get help with google photos on iPad. Did not have appointment but saw Angel immediately. He was unbelievably nice, patient, helpful. He had to check how to work with google photos on iPad...lots of new stuff to me. I would not have been able to do it myself! Another apple employee, Keeanu, helped Angel, then me. mission accomplished. Now I have that google photo acct and my own apple photos, separate and in the cloud. Only because these men were wonderful. I left the store high on happiness that they got the stuff done and I was told how, but they did it for me. Terribly long wait and service. Came in with my sister who had an appointment to get her phone fixed and we had to wait over an hour just to be helped. Whats the point of having an appointment if you still have to wait over an hour? After waiting an hour just to sit down with a tech, we were told it would take anywhere between 2 to 4 hours and they would have to call us when its ready to be picked up! This was insane! Guess we had no choice but to wonder around the mall and go get some ice cream to waste some time because we didn't want to drive all the way home and come back, because the store is about a 30 minute drive back home. After about 2 and a half more hours, my sister finally got the call to pick up her phone and we could finally go home. I cant imagine having to come back here and bring my phone to be repaired and being told to wait that long for it again. read more

I left my MacBook here to be repaired a week ago, the Genius Bar technician was great and said it would be 5 to 7 days and they would contact me when it was ready. Two or three days later they called me and indicated it was ready but I missed their call, and that's when the problems began. I've been calling the store back and even though I've called multiple times over multiple days the calls never ring through. I even got Apple Care to ring the store and they couldn't get through either. There's something terribly wrong with the phone system or store management here. The customer service here is of poor quality. I had a scheduled appointment for 11:50. I arrived at 11:32, the first rep told me that she didn't see me I. The system, I showed her the texts that I received confirming my reservation, she said "well you're not in here so I'll give you a new appointment". I then asked her how long of a wait she said "20/25 minutes" I said can I have an exact time so I can be back and then she said "11:50". It was 11:38 at that point. I'm like that's only 12 minutes away ... she just stared at me. So I walked away and at 11:40 I received a text saying the Genius Bar was almost ready for me. When I arrived at 11:47, the new rep told me that I had missed my 11:45 appointment. I then showed her all the texts, with their times and basically politely said that she was wrong. My mom and I went to change her phone battery. When we got home, my mom noticed that her phone's edges were turning orange and her camera wouldn't work. She went back today (less than 48 hours later) and they refused to help her. The workers insisted that we damaged it with water even though we didn't. They also refused to look at the phone to check for water damage. The phone had not gotten wet and we didn't have any issue with it until we took it to replace the battery. They also refused to refund the nearly $100 dollars we paid for them to break the phone. We didn't even stay to buy a new phone and went to a separate Verizon store instead. Don't go here. He spent time reviewing the new Iphone and its features in addition to the newest Ipad (I needed both). You could not ask for a better person. There are more unsmiling employees to greet you when you arrive as oppose to employees who can actually assist you. On a weekday, we had an appointment and waited 45 minutes only to be told by a rude lead - Danny? - that they could not accommodate us. Oh, Danny will also tell you that he "doesn't care that records calls.." I think he will be working with corporate to better understand why recorded calls are important. The store, lately, can be a place of sheer chaos with dozens of customers meandering around looking in disbelief that no one is helping them. Then, when they call a name, the representative whispers so everyone is asking, "who? who did you call?" The only thing has going for them is product, except for the iWatch which my wife's basically exploded. The staff is uninspiring at times, lethargic. *Disclaimer: this review is based off of one visit. I made an appointment with a customer service rep by phone for a Saturday evening at 8 PM to have my battery replaced. I arrived at the store a few minutes before 8 and the place was mobbed there were people everywhere. I wondered around aimlessly for a few minites before finidng an available rep. I told him I had an appointment and he told me to "check in" with the person in the back. I walked to the back of the store and checked in. Even with an appointment I was told I would have to wait at least 30 minutes to be seen. Once it was my turn I was told the battery replacement process was only 20 minutes however there was a back log of work so I would have to wait 2 HOURS!!! It took every hour, minute and second of that timeframe for them to fix my phone. My biggest issue was when they mistakenly swapped phones with another customer-he was given my phone and I was given his. How do I know this? I watched him turn the phone on and could see my wall paper in the background. What would have happeend if I was not there? Would the other customer go through my phone before returning it? Would he have kept it? Who knows! Luckily I was there to claim it before getting answers to those what ifs! read more

I've been using this location since it opened and have never had an issue with their services. Over the years, I have bought phones, iPads, and other accessories from them and the staff are always kind and professional. I've even had them diagnose and replace a faulty phone at no cost to me. Yes, you will need an appointment for things like diagnosing and troubleshooting problems if you don't want to do the standby line. I set it up over the phone when remote diagnosing did not pinpoint a problem. If you want to avoid crowds, go during the week. The store can get pretty crowded around new product launches, so be aware of that as well. read more

They said they don't actually repair iPads, but they could replace it with an exact copy of the broken one. Fine. It would take five days to order it in, (because apparently they don't carry iPads). Fine, whatever. When they finally got the new iPad, I was told by no less than two people that I did not need an appointment. So, I finally was able to get over there after a very busy week, only to have them tell me that I did need an appointment and I would have to wait an hour and a half for them to go in the back, grab the new iPad and bring it out to me. Having been to the Apple Store in Willow Grove before, I knew an appointment was absolutely necessary. We made one for 11 AM, hoping it wouldn't be too busy. My wife wanted a new IPad. We arrived on time, but had to wait 5 minutes before the "host" talked to us. He confirmed that the IPads we were most interested in weren't in stock, but told us someone would come over and explain the options. We waited at least 20 minutes and were studiously ignored. We decided to check out the options ourselves, and then I pulled out my phone to check online availability. We found what we wanted, ordered it, and paid for it. It was 11:30 by then, and still no staff attention, so we left. I arrived home and found an 11:43 AM text saying our appointment had been "cancelled," which led me to believe staff would have been finally ready to talk to us around that time. Like others, we noticed plenty of staff "standing around," talking to each other, and ignoring customers. I've heard the "host" explain they were "managers" or other non-sales staff types. SO WHAT! If you run a business and customers are waiting to spend their money, you jump in and help, no matter who you are. Otherwise, go sit in the Food Court! Tried to to an update on my Apple Watch. The watch would not update and I could no longer pair it to my phone. After trying to fix it myself for hours, I decided to make an appointment with the Genius Bar, which was a huge waste of time. They rep tried the updated as I did at home, which did not work. He did nothing to diagnose my issue, he simply said your motherboard is probably shot and I need a new watch. Since I was no longer under the 1 year warranty that was my only choice, unless I wanted to send my watch to Apple to diagnose it for $299. I took my watch and left. I then called Apple and they tried to diagnose my problem over the phone. After not been able to fix, they said it was a software issue and they sent me a Fed Ex box to send in for repair at no charge, I had my watch back and fixed in 2 days...hmmm...if I listened to the Genius Bar, I would be out of $500 for a new watch. My husband decided to buy a new MacBook Air so today on his lunch hour (around 2pm) he went to the Apple store in the Willow Grove Mall. Someone asked if they could help him and he said "yes, I want to buy a MacBook Air. The guys said I will put your name on a list and someone will be with you in 10 minutes. My husband waited 30 minutes before he left. Would have been a quick sale and my husband is a software engineer and a game player and is always buying new things. I know him well enough to pretty much guarantee that he will never step foot in this store again. Terrible customer service! I love apple products! But my visit to the store today was less than satisfying. Woke up this morning with my alarm on my phone going off, normal day, all of the sudden the iPhone 6s Plus that is 3 months old shuts down. I try to connect to iTunes at home with no luck. I then go to Verizon wireless to see if the issue is there. They tell me to go to Apple. I do that, upon arrival the gentleman is very nice and states it will be an hour wait. Okay.. So I wait, and wait more, it's Monday at 1230, I'm shocked it's that busy. I was told people with appointments have preference(now I know). Finally I am seen and the issue is resolved within 3 minutes(literally). I'm not really sure what happened, it was very loud and hard to concentrate in there. But all they did is restore my phone to factory settings. They didn't offer to help save my contacts, pictures etc. kind of a bummer! I did have my phone backed up on iTunes but it was from about a year ago. I guess I just felt I waited around for over an hour and my time wasn't important but the apple employees time was very important. I went to pick up products that I purchased on line. Since I already paid for the items and showed up at my designated time per the process, this should have been a no-brained. I walked in and told an employee that I was picking up and order. The store was not at all busy and there were at least 6 other employees standing around conversing amongst themselves. The initial employee pointed me to the order pick up desk. The employee at the desk was engaged in the process of putting a screen protector on someone's phone while also chit chatting. Another person who was picking up an order was helped by an employee who was walking around while I stood there wondering why I had to wait at the order pick up desk. Thankfully I decided to ask someone else to get my order. After that, my order came out in less than 5 minutes. If I hadn't asked, I would still be waiting at the order pick up desk. It appears to me that some of the employees in this store seem to try to do as little as possible. read more
