What a nightmare! I have been here repeatedly in the last 3+ months. They deny that I have a warrantee or insurance. They just try to sell me more chargers. So I go out to my car, plug in the charger, and I get no charge. Each time, I go back into the store and they tell me I should buy another charger and they tell me that I have no warrantee or insurance, but I do! I dial *611 and those reps are able to confirm I have the warrantee and the insurance. The store associates deny this. One of them even said "I can't give you no receipt. I go to lunch! We got not a print." Great. Thanks. They gaslight. They are mean, nasty, rude, right in front of other customers. The staff they have are totally rotten. read more

I've been with Verizon for 20 yrs, and I have never experienced the worst customer service like I did at the willow Grove store. I had to get a new phone because there was some type of glitch on mine. I went to the store for help, the Verizon rep Sat down with me to call customer support. While we were on hold, he was texting on his personal phone the whole time. He wasn't paying attention to the IT support tech on the line so nothing was resolved after sitting there for an hour. He was so rude, and manager or senior rep came to assist even though I was sitting there for an hour with this guy and nothing was being resolved. He told me he couldn't help me, the manager still never approached or said a word. I went up to the Horsham store & it was resolved in 30 min. I'm going to switch to T-Mobile, every time I think of that horrible experience at Willow Grove, I cringe. read more

Their real name on my receipt was wireless zone and they added devices and lines and charges that the True Corporate store in Willow Grove was able to help me! read more

I ordered a cell phone for my disabled mother because hers is broken and I accidentally had it sent to my apartment instead of her house. That is entirely my fault. I tried to fix it with UPS but it didn't work and I missed all 3 deliveries. I went to a Verizon retail store to try and see if they could help me get her a phone sooner. They told me to go to the store in Willow Grove because it's a headquarter store and they can over ride my current order that got sent back and they could get a phone for me sooner. When I walked into the Willow Grove store I was offered help immediately. When I told them my situation, they said I had to wait till the phone gets delivered back to the warehouse. Meanwhile my disabled mother is without a properly working phone. I was almost in tears trying to explain this to them. They told me the only solution was to add a line and buy a new phone there. I feel like I was being taken advantage of, like they were just looking to make a sale. I accepted that this wasn't going to go anywhere. When I asked them if they could help me disconnect the 2 tablets that we don't use he told me to call 611 and they'll do it. I know he had access to do it but because I wasnt buying anything I felt like I wasn't going to be helped. I've been with Verizon for 17 years and this whole thing makes me want to leave. The thing is, I am due for an upgrade and if the salesman had been even just a little bit empathetic or polite, I would've gotten a phone today for myself, but now I'm not sure I even want to have Verizon as my carrier at all. read more

This is a corporate store. I have gone in many times in the past, however, my visit today was horribly ridiculous! I went in to look at cell phones to change me over to an iphone and watch, and look at upgrading my boyfriends for Christmas. A representative, asked why I was there. He said that I " should return with my boyfriend." Even after I had explained twice why I wanted to look at the phones and watches, without my boyfriend, the associate pushed back about "deals." I told him again that I was not interested in deals I wanted to see what phone would work best for me and look at the sticker price he pushed back again about having my boyfriend there. The store manager heard/saw what was going on, as we were near her desk, and she did nothing. We just returned very happy customers from this Verizon store. Sierra and Anthony, our two sales people could not have been more helpful, and helped me to make a large purchase of wireless noise canceling head phones which I wasn't going to purchase today but decided after Anthony's excellent knowledge of the product and great education on how to use properly. I have wanted them for years and now own them. Who says good customer service is bad today. I will continue to do service at that particular store due to their excellent customer service. read more

Very irresponsible employees.... I called on 10/7 to see if they had a specific phone in stock which they said yes and the person even confirmed the address with me. Then I drove for an hour before they tell me they don't have it and deny saying that on the phone and they even made it sound like it's my fault that O didn't remember the girls name who answered the phone. I had a terrible experience at this store today. From the moment I walked in there was a staff person staring at me, no greeting, no professionalism. I then asked how the system works because most stores involve signing in, etc. the lackluster, uninformed response was the same from another staff person as well. The attitude reflected an overall indifference towards the customer as I waited. Others were helped before me even though I was told there was 1 person ahead of me. I asked why and got more of an attitude. In fact when another customer expressed frustration at a staff person not answering a question the staff looked at me and shook his head as if I would be in agreement with him. Totally unprofessional again. I recommend going to another location and customer service training for all employees. read more

Very rude service today. Very unlike other locations I have been too and very unlike the phone service. I had upgraded to 2 more smart phones yesterday, at Newtown Sqare, to give me a total of 5 smart phones with Verizon. I went out of my way to go to Abington just to ask a couple questions about my new phone. I was not greeted. I stood at the rear service counter watching Reggie and Brian both stare at a customers defective tablet. Why 2 techs have to stare at 1 tablet I do not know. they ignored me until I asked Reggie if he was familiar with my phone and if he could help me. His idea of help was to direct me to the sign in kiosk, Brian went to help someone else and Reggie grabbed his cell phone and stood near the front door while on his cell phone. He was kind enough to open and hold the door for me as I walked out. read more

Why I Switched to T-Mobile after 18 Years (1996-2014) as a Verizon Wireless Customer - 1 of 3 Short Answer ============ My horrible experience with Verizon Wireless revealed a callous indifference to customer interests and concerns in a single-minded pursuit of revenue. A timeline of my experience is as follows. Thu 3/27/14 =========== I visited a Verizon Wireless store to upgrade my phone, but I went totally unprepared to engage with a slick salesperson. It did not occur to me that I needed to guard against getting hoodwinked, because upgrading my phone had always been a routine process. Also, since I had been getting a single bill for my landline and mobile services, I was not aware that Verizon and Verizon Wireless were now separate entities. Therefore I was not aware that a change regarding my home phone would completely severe my relationship with Verizon and upend the quality of service I was getting from them. I brought my latest bill with me to expedite the process of exchanging pertinent information. The salesperson looked at the bill and exclaimed that I could save money. I ended up being sold a 4-line More Everything plan that included (1) the phone, (2) a mobile hotspot (which I liked), (3) a cellular modem for my computer, and (4) a device called the Home Phone Connect (HPC) for my landline. I was dubious about replacing my unlimited data with this new plan's 1 gigabyte of data. But I was assured that 1 gigabyte could fit my needs. Since I thought that Verizon and Verizon Wireless were the same company, I thought that the cellular modem and HPC were just replacement devices for my Verizon service. I did not know that I would be terminating my Verizon service and signing up for devices that involved Early Termination Fees (ETF). When I was asked to sign my name on the salesperson's iPad and was told that the paperwork would be emailed to me, I thought I was merely signing my credit card receipt. If I had known that I was signing a contract for the cellular modem and HPC that involved ETF's, I would have backed out. It was not explained to me what I was signing, and I was not offered a chance to read it. (In contrast the T-Mobile salespersons made sure that I read everything before signing.) Fri 3/28/14 ======== After reading the morning paper with my iPad Wall Street Journal app, I was shocked to see an email alerting me that I had exceeded my data allowance. The email advised me to increase my data plan to avoid an overage charge. I increased the plan to 2 gigabytes. My promised savings had thereby shrunk! Sat 3/29/14 ========= I took the cellular modem and HPC to the Verizon store to return them and revert back to Verizon's cooper line and unlimited data. After the salesperson spoke with the store manager, I was told that they concluded that the email alert must have been in error, because I could not have used all my data. I was told that 2 gigabytes was more than enough for normal computing, and besides I could bring in a bill and have glitches corrected. Not believing that I would be willfully misled, I fell for that explanation. Wed 4/2/14 ========= I received another shocking email alert about exceeding my data allowance and that I should increase my data plan to avoid overage charges. Examination of my data usage indicated that the iPad Wall Street Journal app was using a quarter gigabyte per day. Still relying on the veracity of the Verizon Wireless salespersons, I concluded that this could not be correct. I figured that perhaps a calculation involving prorated data usage was amiss. I decided to wait until the start of my full monthly cycle on 4/7 to examine the readings on my data usage. Besides the data usage headache, it had become clear that the HPC had three significant shortcomings. They were (1) inferior sound quality, (2) inability to fax, and (3) the Caller ID displayed the number only - no name. The third shortcoming was extremely maddening, because even though my number is on the Do Not Call list I still get numerous junk phone calls. I routinely ignore calls that show "Unavailable" or something similar. Screening calls became surprising difficult with the HPC. I was avoiding legitimate calls whose number I did not immediately recognize. And I was picking up (and immediately hanging up) on junk calls with a local area code. Tue 4/8/14 ======== On this new monthly cycle, I checked my data usage and saw that my iPad Wall Street Journal app was indeed using a quarter gigabyte per day for one and a half gigabytes per week. My other computer usage was a quarter gigabyte per week. It became clear that I had been misled, and that a limited data plan - though OK for a mobile phone - was totally inappropriate for combined phone and home computing usage. The salesperson was clueless, went to the manager and gave her incorrect information, when I went over and clarified the information, the manager was rude and had a nasty attitude. These reviews are all fake. This is a new verizon store that opened in july of 2017. All the reviews are from before then. Yelp is screwing up and making them look bad. I think the service is amazing. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgable. I just wish there was an entrance from easton rd instead of going through millers to get there. read more

This place is terrible, you will always have to wait for an hour before you get helped but yet there are plenty of people standing around doing nothing. My last experience made me drop Verizon and go with another company. I waited for an hour and a half just to be told no. I needed to upgrade my phone but there were 11 days left on my contract. The thing is the gs4 I had was old and was not working, I did not want to pay $100 dollars for a new galaxy s4 when I was going to buy the note edge 11 days later when my contract was up. They would not let me get the new phone I wanted even though I was willing to spend over $600 on the spot for new stuff, I mean like, who turns down money. The guy helping me was old and had no idea what he was doing. If you need some costumer service for the money they overcharge you, don't use Verizon Wireless. Be careful in this store. Most of the employees are not very consumer oriented. You may think they are being honest and looking out for your interest, but they are not. Make sure you understand everything you are buying and everything you are signing. Do not be intimidated by them or walk out. They will ask you to sign on a signature pad without having you see or read the supporting documents. Be careful! We found out we purchased phone insurance after we specifically told the employee we never buy it and didn't want it. I would recommend going somewhere else. Or go into a store to see what you like but then buy online. You may save money buying online anyway. read more
