Have never had a bad meal here, and have been coming here since they opened. My favorite is the Philly wrap, beef or chicken. Awesome waitstaff, quick served meals, and very friendly owners. It's all around a nice diner. read more

Just picked up soup and when I came out in the parking lot was some of the kitchen help digging around in the sewer hole with his kitchen apron on. Owner was standing there and informed me it was ok for him to be out there in the sewer hole with his apron on. Not going back. read more

Its been a swift pickup every time I've stopped by. Relatively close to my work, I've been here a few times. Trying to stick to salads since I'm cutting down on carbs, this place has the best, in my opinion. The Greek Salad has to be my favorite, I've tried most of them here. They give this amazing pita bread with every salad (I know it was a lot of carbs, don't judge me), a real delicacy. Good service and good food, can't wait till they open indoor seating. read more

Best homemade soups you could ever ask for. Every Tuesday they have the clam chowder my husband and I will make a special trip to get clam chowder take out. We came here after church and it was very busy, the service was outstanding and the food still came out quick! My dad got an omelette and is still talking about how it was the best omelette he's ever had, and it's 30 minutes later. I got a salad with the raspberry vinaigrette and it was phenomenal! i've been here several times. the food is decent. today i got the strawberry chicken salad and i was about to take a bite of my tangerine and i see a BUG. i am so disappointed and disgusted. other times i've gotten eggs and they're also DRENCHED in oil which makes me feel sick too. Owner refuses to allow veteran service animals in the restaurant. I'm it only suggesting boycotting this place but you should boycott Lapeer as well. Stopped in here for lunch. Clean place, very friendly staff and looks like a busy place. We ordered 2 very different meals- meatloaf with lemon rice soup and gyro with small Greek salad. Soup and salad were the only things we enjoyed. Both meals were subpar. Ordered Rice pudding for dessert. It was so soupy- Swimming in liquid. read more

I just flew all the way from Los Angeles to Michigan on a business trip. I'm so glad our company decided to stop into this restaurant for our corporate lunch. I decided to order an omelette with a ice cold water and a coffee. Needless to say, The quality of service is amazing. But I'm going to just jump right in. Their food is absolutely outstanding. I've eaten a lot of fine dining, 5 star restaurants, heck I've even eaten at a diner in south beach Miami that was considered the best in the country. Apple tree in Lapeer? Yeah. Apple tree puts them all to shame. I would honestly Move to Lapeer Michigan just so could eat this restaurant everyday of my life. The portions are HUGE the cost is amazing for what you get. The service is NEXT LEVEL. Aaron Ritchie was a phenomenal server. I hope they decide to franchise this restaurant and open up locations all over the country. Kudos to you Apple tree. The food was delicious - try the cranberry salad! I am giving a 4 rating because of the lack of dairy free options. I love this place. They treat you like family. Always prompt service, the food always comes quick and tastes great. The prime rib is the best, when it is on the special board we always get it. Apple Tree is the reason for my lifelong obsession with diners. Growing up, my parents would often take our family here, because the service and food are always great. Recently, I've been loving their spinach pie, but for years my standard order was their Chicken Kabob, which comes with pita and a bowl FULL of tzatziki sauce... Either way, you can't go wrong here! This place has excellent service, generous servings, reasonable prices, and most importantly, incredibly delicious food. We are on a charter bus with 35 people and happened upon the restaurant via Google maps. We called ahead about 15 minutes, and they had tables reserved for us upon arrival even with such a short timeline. We had our food within 20 minutes (a miracle for a group that size), and everyone--aged seven to seventy--cleaned their plate and could not stop raving about their meal. I had the delicious pan fried perch, and my friend had the fish and chips. Neither of us are fans of tartar sauce usually, but I would purchase a bottle of their homemade tartar sauce, if I could. Their chocolate pie also earned the distinction from the group as the best they'd ever tasted. I would highly recommend this local gem! read more
