Unfortunately, I didn't care for the grilled chicken pita and explained my concerns to Laura. She was very understanding and kindly had it removed from the bill, which I greatly appreciated. Although I would rethink ordering the pita again, the chili, chips, and helpful service made the experience better.

Both the hostess and our server were friendly and attentive, and the menu offered a great variety of options. We arrived around 1:45 p.m., and unfortunately they were already out of both the gyros and corned beef. Even so, we found plenty of other tempting choices. I ordered the Garlic Mushroom Burger without the bun, topped with bacon and jalapeños, along with a side of roasted garlic green beans. My husband ordered the Chorizo Ranchero Omelette, which came with a choice of one side plus toast or pancakes, and he added a side of sausage. At first, the prices seemed a little high, but once our meals arrived, it was clear why. It looked like each plate had been prepared by a chef. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and the food was well worth the price. Despite a couple of menu items being unavailable, we had a satisfying dining experience and would definitely return.

The atmosphere felt very casual--there was a huge bar in the middle with some booths and tables surrounding. There were TVs playing the Tigers game. For my drink, I ordered an espresso martini and really enjoyed it! My brother ordered an old fashioned and said it was good and very strong. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and liked it! They also brought out a bread loaf for the table and it was very warm and fresh! As for the entrees, we were honestly very disappointed. The food was genuinely some of the blandest food I've ever eaten. I ordered the filet mignon. It was good, but the minestrone it came with was missing something. I also would have liked the meal to come with mashed potatoes instead of 2 small halved potatoes. Additionally, the zip sauce was very liquid and not thick which I didn't love. My mom had the chicken Marsala. The dish had good flavor, but the texture of the chicken was poor. The gnocchi with meat sauce was a good portion size, but sadly bland as well. In the end, our card was ran on the wrong tab but the server noticed and corrected it so it wasn't a big deal. For what we paid, close to $270, including the service fee for using credit card, I honestly would've rather gone to Texas Roadhouse. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for fine dining in the area.
