    My kids' phones had cracked screens! What to do? Luckily I bought AppleCare which will replace the screen at $29 a piece. We made an appointment for 5:30 PM on a Thursday, showed up and saw someone within 10 minutes. It turned out that the screen was ok...it was the screen protector that was cracked!!! Is this good or bad? Since I had AppleCare, replacing a cracked screen is $29. Replacing the cracked screen protector is $39?! Ambience: if you've been to one Apple store, you've been to them all. It is clean and much less crowded than the Apple stores in the mall. They check your temperature upon entry. Service: it might have been a slow day, but there were plenty of employees walking about and they are generally friendly and helpful. You are not allowed to browse unescorted. TL/DR: this Apple store location is a great place to go to avoid the usual crowds at the mall.

    Going to any store during COVID is certainly stressful, and thinking about the masses of people packed into Apple Stores, especially during the holidays, and especially in 2020, can evoke feelings of dread. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to bringing my MacBook in for a necessary repair. I delayed for as long as possible and finally caved. Fortunately, I had a very pleasant experience overall with some minor bumps (mainly time) along the way. To start, I picked this Apple Store because it's one of the few on Long Island not attached to a mall. Even during the winter months, I'd prefer to maximize social distancing, even if I have to wait outside. I would normally make an appointment with the Genius Bar anyway but learned that it's now a requirement during COVID. In fact, even going in to buy something now requires an appointment. I went online and found the appointments to be non-existent but tried every day and finally had some luck (the appointment was for later the following week). On my scheduled appointment day, I grabbed my laptop and headed to the store. Arriving at the store, you'll find that there's a security guard taking temperatures and asking each person to review a sign listing all potential COVID systems and to confirm they have none of them. They also provide guidance on where to stand next so that you're socially distanced from everyone else. From there, an Apple employee stops by with an iPad to confirm your appointment, then tells you to stand by a specific table, also socially distanced. Despite there being many people in the store at once, you're never really within 6 feet of anyone else (except for the occasional person walking by). I was also happy to see hand sanitizer and even monitor wipes at every station. Of course, all employees wear masks and all customers are required to as well. They also had 1 employee sanitizing the store every one of the 3 times I had to stop back here. For this particular appointment, I was assigned to a table, and within minutes, an employee named Gordon came by. Gordon was truly a stellar Apple employee: highly knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. He diagnosed my laptop, explained my options, and even helped me to save some time without my MacBook by explaining I could either drop off my laptop now and have it there for about 2-3 weeks (they had to order the part) or return when the part was in and drop it off at that point with at most a 7-day turnaround. I of course opted for the latter, signed some forms on his iPad and walked out the door. A week later, I got an email confirming my part was in along with a few days grace period before they'd give the part to somebody else. I dropped by without an appointment but was still welcome since this was of course a follow-up. At that point I was only in the store for 3 minutes to drop off my laptop. Thankfully, my laptop was ready just 3 days later. I once again swung by without a formal appointment to pick it up. The Apple employee who helped was so incredibly careful with my laptop, even providing a full diagnostic report and confirming that everything was tested and functioning properly. I almost felt like I was picking up my pet from the vet. It's easy to tell Apple tries hard to maintain the image of product perfection even when it comes to repairs. Every part of the experience is treated with care down to the tiniest detail. Had I only needed to stop by the Apple Store once and pick up my laptop same day or even 1 day later, this review would have been 5 stars (especially because of Gordon). Nevertheless, I dropped off 1 star because, even during COVID, the repair took over a month from me booking the Genius Bar appointment to me picking up my repaired laptop. Still, I love my Apple products and like visiting this location.

    Purchased a $50 brown leather case from Apple Amazon. Amazon does not cover it and said to go to the manufacturer. I go to the Apple Manhasset store and get told that purchases on Amazon are not covered under the warranty and to go back to Amazon. Or I have to make a Genius Bar appointment 2 weeks later or so and go back for the case. Are you serious? I just wasted an hour driving there and I need a genius to tell me if they can replace a case that literally looks like shit? Please look at my photos - new and 2 month old. On top of that I have a $1200 iPhone with Apple care. Stupid me...

    Amazing wonderful support staff but very very disheartening dishonest and untrained yet untruthful sales rep. They literally lied to me about what was wrong about my phone and forced me to purchase a new phone. After visiting My Verizon store realized I could have avoided paying more than 1000 dollars in phone purchase. Make Sure You Double Check your phone company before visiting this store.

    I would like to highlight the middle-aged man with short hair on the register. He has no idea how…read moreto do his job - has refused to follow the price match policy found on the Staples website, lied about the availability of an item, and on top of all that, instead of trying to find a solution, was argumentative and aggressive. Additionally, Aisha was also very unpleasant, rushing me when I was waiting for my Staples app to load (there was one person behind me, waiting for maybe 30 seconds; not to mention the cell service in the front of the store is atrocious), and also ignoring the terms of the price match policy when I checked out with the other man, implying that she was giving me the price as a courtesy when I followed the policy to a T from the Staples website. It's a shame I won't be returning, because the location is so convenient near King Kullen and the other stores in the area. But I'd prefer to save myself the trouble. The staff in the other stores in the area are worlds more pleasant than the staff here. (I posted this review on google but it seems like they removed it. Wonder who did that)

    I needed to return 3 Amazon packages. This is the closest location to return packages from my job…read more The employees are friendly and helpful, I asked where do I return Amazon orders and was pointed to the right direction. The cashier was nice there was people ahead of me but the line moved quickly. Also they give you a nice size print out of your receipt so you won't misplace it. I will definitely come back to this location.
