A good sized store, but always oh so busy. The line up to get in a couple days before Christmas was long. Staff went friendly but it was a bit chaotic in the store with all kinds of people on top of each other.

I came here without an appointment to replace my iPhone 6 cellphone battery. It's been on my to do list for 6 months so far and today was mission day. This store is located within the beautiful modern Square One Shopping Centre. Once the store opened, I queued up to get an Apple Associate to book me for a walk-in appointment. Their estimated wait time for me was 30 minutes. I was able to find comfortable seating outside the store awaiting my turn. Half hour later I was at the Genius Bar speaking with Lequan. He ran tests on the hardware, explained the results, had me read and sign legal disclaimers and wrapped up the paperwork. A super customer service experience! My iPhone with a new battery will be ready in 60 minutes for pickup. I'm going for lunch now.

*dies* I was supposed to receive a call from the manager but that was a no show. I wanted to complain about how terrible their service has gotten. Point 1 (to be duly noted): Apple products aren't cheap but I have been a repeat buyer because of how amazing their service has been. Dealing with an Apple Genius has always been easier than trying to push "sense" with Best Buy Geeks or the Dell I-will-Google-it guys. Anyways, all this Apple gaga till now. I went in with my new Mac Air because the keyboard had stopped responding. Instead of being attended to, which is the usual case (I had an appointment), I had to go and seek out staff from chit-chatting with the party people in the store tinkering-with-but-not-purchasing any products. Anyway, after that it was a 30 minute wait at the now-cluttered Genius bar, which is not normal. Genius came out - disheveled guy with hobo beard and dreadlocks - which is not normal either. He mumbled something and took my laptop to the "back" to check. My hunch is, he probably took it to the back to Google solutions or call one of the Apple tech guys. Usually they will sit infront of you and try a few solutions. No more; not at this store atleast. He came back out, absolutely clueless. Made me sign a sheet of paper that said I'll get my laptop in 3-5 days. I waited for 3-5 days. On the 5th day, I got a call from the store asking for my password (because they couldn't access my laptop). *insert a serious facepalm here* ... anyway, I gave it to them. Don't know what happened because when I called a day later to follow up, I had to give it to them again. On the 7th day, I was on the brim of being super impatient and throwing pie at somebody, so I called them again and a conversation took place: Me: Here's my repair number. What's the status? Apple Man: It's in repairs. We'll call you when it's ready. Me: I know that... but I was supposed to get it back 2 days ago. Apple Man: Ok, let me look. Ma'am, we called you 2 days ago... Me: For a password, yes, I gave it to you guys twice already!! Apple Man: I don't see one on file. I can write it down and hand it to one of our Genius reps. Me: You gotta be fucking kidding me Apple Man: Ma'am we don't tolerate any kind of swearing, sorry... CAN YOU BLAME ME? Anyway, I ended up giving them the password for the 3rd time. Finally got my Air back on day 8. Want better customer service? Go to Sherway. It's SO much better.

I challenge you to find an Apple store that isn't jam packed with people. I really don't get it. There were so many people in this store 'playing' with stuff that the staff weren't available to help the customers that were there to actually make a purchase. Quite frustrating.

Don't try calling the store. No one answers in sales after you speak with the robot receptionist

We took them in even though it has been over a year but with apple care, they took us in and exchange them.

I searched alternatives "near me" and although there were others closer, when I called iRepair in Mississauga, Joe answered right away, listened to my (iPad) issues and quoted the best price. I'm so glad I didn't go to the Apple Store. Not only did Joe solve all my problems quickly and at the lowest possible price, he showed me (by doing it for me) how to clean my AirPods and case properly, improving their performance dramatically. No charge! A good man, who is generous, takes pride in his work and takes customer service to heart. Plus a location that is easy to get to and has lots of free parking. Worthy of 5 stars.

He has always charged very reasonably for his work and it is always done in a timely and professional manner. Most recently, he even troubleshot a VPN issue on my phone that was preventing connection to the internet with no charge; anyone else might have told me I needed some new part or charged me to diagnose it but not Joe. We have had smashed and cracked screen repairs, as well as iMac issues handled by Joe and his team at iRepair and we have been 100% satisfied with the fees and the results.
