TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from manager to floor sales to cashier. First time went there to buy a headset and earbuds. They were locked behind glass shelf. Took 20 minutes to finally get someone to unlock it. Understaffed and during several interactions with the staff, I didn't feel welcomed at all. I have had the worst experience with those people claiming they are professionals but unfortunately they made a fraud on me by charging me $45 claiming they can fix my laptop problem where I was unable to take out my data from the drive. Unfortunately they ignored me for 15 days with out giving me any updates and when I went in person I noticed that they took out my drive and my 256 go ssd and taped them on the laptop. I took it to Werecoverdata to fix it again and they confirmed that the drive is not the original one and that what is in the laptop is a newly fresh installed one. I asked Canada computers to give me back my original drive but they were very careless and said what you have is the original ones. Ordered a keyboard online with 1 left for pickup. Called to see if I could pick it up and no one answered. Went in to pick it up, turns out it was the display model, not in good condition, and should not be sold (in my opinion). Travelled 40 minutes to be disappointed because someone decided it was okay to sell products in poor shape. Only upside is the person who helped me was friendly, found the keyboard for me, and was very apologetic that it was allowed to be sold. read more

I am very disappointed that I go there 5 times and there is not much good service they could not even search for my computer serial number and even thr name MSI on Nov. 1st, 2021. and I guaranteed the service leaders are not good listeners and will never be. Been to this Canada Computers many times in the past, just forgot to review. They have good customer service and all of them are very knowledgeable about the products in store and where to find it all. We were able to find what we needed easily because the store also has a lot of space to walk around and look at the merchandise. Would highly recommend if you're looking for anything computer related! Especially this location because of the stock and the staff! read more

In my opinion Canada Computers & Electronics is the best computer store in Mississauga for computer parts and accessories. As a computer guy I usually love places like this, but EVERY time I come here, the item I looked up online confirming that it's "In Stock" in THIS location in multiple options actually doesn't exist at all, or the ONE in stock has magically changed from black to mint green, or from 16gb to 8, or it's actually 4 years older. And the cherry on top are the employees who act sooo annoyed that you want to spend money at their store. What? Love love LOVED Canada Computers. I've bought a ton of stuff over the years. Was happy to finally have one in Oakville. Until today. Bought a Display Port to HDMI converter 2 days ago. It wasn't what I needed, tried to return. There is a no return policy on open items. That is HORRIBLE. I understand some items (RAM, CPU) but an item like this? Won't be going there anymore with a lame policy on all open items. I'll stick to Best Buy and Amazon moving forward. Thankfully it was only $25 and not some thing more expensive, or I would have been way more annoyed. Not sure how a business can operate with this type of strict policy on everything. doing some running around in Mississauga and i decided to swing by this location to pick up a couple of keyboards that my local Canada computers didn't have on hand for whatever reason. this location was a bit of a mission to get to as the way i looked on google maps, i went to the wrong side of the intersection coming from the north. this plaza was jam packed full of cars on arrival, but thankfully i was able to find a spot right in front of the door of the store. i walked into the store to notice how big this location was, bigger then the standard Canada computer location's I've been to previously. once i found the keyboard section i was only able to pick up 2 keyboards and the stock online showed 4 keyboards available, so an inaccurate stock level loses a point, got to cash to get out as soon as i got in and without explanation, the cashier switched me mid order with another cashier, as i needed something behind the counter as well i had to repeat myself as he couldn't be bothered to pass the message along to her, even though they were within 4 feet of each other, this also ultimately loses a point as this guy behind the counter without a name tag (go figure) doesn't believe in teamwork it seems. got my items and carried on my way home. very clean and well organized location, but sadly stock issues and bad employees effected the rating. would come back if in the area, but i would question why. read more

If you happened to stroll through the aisles of Canada computers store in Mississauga and you find an item you want to buy, price check with Bestbuys or Amazon.ca. Why? If you find the price to be just as good at Amazon.ca or Bestbuys, keep smiling and go home to order the products online from Bestbuys or Amazon.ca. Why? Canada Computers store on Burnhamthorpe may have some good products for sale but when it comes to customer service and sound customer relations, they fail miserably. Recently I purchased a smart phone, Xiomi M1 A1 model, from the Burnhamthorpe store. The phone was priced at $269.99 at the store. I checked Amazon.ca and the phone was selling for the same price, but I decided to buy it at the Canada Computers because I wanted it now. After a several days, I realized I was so happy to purchase the phone at the time, I did not check the receipts carefully, and it turns out the store charged me additional $30. I went back to the store to ask for a credit back of $30 additional they charged me. A store manager named Paul, a young Asian guy, told me that he cannot help me because there is no proof that phone was priced at $269.99 when I bought the phone. Additionally Paul communicated to me that the store stopped selling the phone and there is no pricing record related to my phone to support my claim. I am so shock. All Paul has to do resolve the issue was to walk over the phone section of the store and ask the sales guys who work there what ask if they remember the pricing. He did not bother. All Paul can provide was a nice shoulder and say that there is no proof of the pricing. I reminded Paul that if this happened at Bestbuys or Amazon, either of these businesses will do the right thing by providing some sort of resolution that is satisfactory to the customer instead of shrugging the shoulder and say we have no record to prove. I also reminded him that all the other competitors are selling the phone at $269.99 which he can verify online to get an objective measure of what market rate for this device is. Paul once again, gave me a shrug saying he cannot help as there is no proof of pricing, never bothering to speak to the guys working at the phone department in the same store to get their opinion of pricing on this phone. The moral of the lesson is: 1) don't be a fool who walks out with the store before carefully checking the receipt, 2) don't shop at businesses that don't have a solid understanding of the words - CUSTOMER SERVICE or CUSTOMER RELATIONS. If you see an item you like and priced way below Amazon or Bestbuy maybe buy at this lousy store, but if you price compare and don't see a big advantage at Canada Computers store on Burnhamthorpe, give your business to a business that will treat you better than this lousy store. FYI: They sold me a Xiomi phone that was supposed to be North America compatible, but included was only European power plug outlet. When I went back to address the issue, the manager on duty said the sales guy screwed up by not including a North America power compatible plug, and gave me a replacement power plug. Then it turns out they gave me a defective plug so I had to go back and switch to the power plug that works. So thank you for wasting my time and gas money, then giving me a customer service that is only available in third world countries decades ago. These guys are real screw ups and don't have a clue. Thank you Paul the Skinny tall you Asian store manager who don't know how to step up and do your job. Any manager at Bestbuys would have taken the trouble to talk to the sales guys working in the phone department to gather facts and working to do the right thing as a business. A good reputation is something a business should protect. Paul, you sir do not know how to look out for the reputation of your store. Good selection, horrible attitude. Either they treat employees bad or customers are seen as incompetent and worthy of staff disdain. Their draconian exchange and return policy does not help. If I buy something with the advice of two different staff members, and it does not work/is incompatible with whatever I have at home even after them knowing what I have, I expect a refund or exchange without eye rolling or arguments. These aren't grocery products that expire in a day or melt if taken out of package. I am by no means a novice when it comes to parts but if I am told to purchase another (more expensive) product with the guarantee that it will work, and it doesn't, then blame is on you. I regret giving them years of my business and thousands of dollars. All it takes is for one bad purchase and they will turn on you as if you came to rob them. Avoid this branch. When I wanted to return it, they said they can't exchange it due to Covid. The store manager (a short man who refused to tell me his name) made fun of me and told me that I should've done my research before buying there. Was sold a re-certified printer advertised as brand new!! purchased printer in sept 2018 and needed a replacement in Feb 2019, went to the HP warranty status wepage and entered my serial # and it shows warranty was activated in Jan 2018....8 MONTHS EARLIER THAN I BOUGHT IT!. Horrible customer service. I wanted to upgrade the ram on my computer. I asked the technician in the technical support and they told me I can do it. After inserting the new Ram recommended by them, it turned out that it wasn't working. I returned immediately with a photograph copy of my receipt, which I have done many times before. They refused to help me and told me they needed the paper copy only, and refused to search the transaction by the serial number, as they done many times before. The manager Nick had to be called out, only to ask for the paper receipt only. I am very upset to have been denied a service that I have received many times in the past, especially after driving a second time from Georgetown on the same day to make the return. I am generally a very positive reviewer but this review will be different. I am a very frequent customer here and I have never had any trouble with purchasing or returning. Today was very different and is the reason why I will be taking my business elsewhere. I treated very poorly at this store. Bought a damaged product and they refused to do anything about it and disrespected me. The manager, Manny, was excessively rude, and was sarcastic throughout this whole experience. He kept cracking sarcastic jokes and kept telling me I broke the product myself. He told me that I they could send the item back to the manufacturer and they would repair it but then he changed his mind 2 minutes later and told me to leave the store. He told me nobody wants to talk to you. Be sure not to buy anything from this store before having the staff open the box and letting you inspect it, whether it's a graphics card or a USB. I have never been to a store where the staff care less about you being at a $200 loss and refuse to do anything as little as provide compensation. Went in looking for a new computer for school. I wanted a MSI, but the salesmen Solomon decided for me that I didn't need one and sold me an inferior asus around the same price point. He didn't go through my options and accidentally added the extra $150 warranty.
