I love Apple products but the customer service at this location is terrible. I went in and I tried to talk to someone who worked there but got ignored. Waited for 15 minutes until someone was willing to respond to me, and the sales person told me to go wait by a table. 30 minutes passed, and no one came. Finally I asked another sales person and they told me to go to a different table. Then I waited there for another 15 minutes before asking yet another sales person, and they told me to go back to the original table I was told to stand by at the beginning. This is super frustrating. Then, another sales rep comes by and asks if I'm Amy... and I'm definitely not, but also no one asked for my name and I tell them this. As I was asking my question, her coworker comes over to her and interrupts me, without apologizing. Both of them were carrying on a conversation. She then took over the conversation I had with the previous sales rep.. She coldly told me to go to AT&T and ask them the questions. In an arrogant way, she said "HAVE A GOOD DAY!" Both ladies were very unprofessional. I did go downstair and talk to an AT&T salesperson, He was very knowlegeable and friendly. He said he can service my iphone 16. Went in to get my AirPods replaced after they started malfunctioning. I made an appointment and was immediately assigned to Adam. He took his time troubleshooting them and making the right assessments. Even when the store got super hectic, he maintained a clear line of communication between me and the other folks he was helping simultaneously and made sure all of our needs were met. It took about an hour but I left with a brand new set of AirPods. I needed a case that was more durable than the one I currently had and Adam introduced me to Sam who helped me to pick out a snazzy sports one with strings that allow me to secure it on my bag or belt loop for easy access. I asked a Latina girl at the front of the store who said I couldn't refund them because I "didn't have the receipt." I explained to her that I can't use them because they can't be used out of the country and she just repeated her original statement. I asked if I could speak to a Supervisor, she said "Absolutely, if you want to be told a third time that you can't get a refund." I said, "I'm hoping for a different answer, that's why I'm asking for a different person." She proceeded to walk towards the Supervisor so I followed her. Then she turned around and said rudely, "You can wait over there." When she said it, she waved her hand in a dismissive way. (It's on security cameras.) This is the worst shop experience for Apple Store . This location the start from the front, sale person security, and store manger are very disrespectful and unhelpful. I walk in to buy an unlocked iPhone since my current iPhone screen have issue. Me and my wife stood there as the pretentious host spent an unnecessary amount of time blabbing to the guy in front of me about his upcoming appointment, oooohhhh, ahhhhhh, appointments... The security guard felt pity for me and my wife and called one of the many other employees who just stand there talking to each other instead of helping customers. Outstanding customer service!! I bought AirPods gen 2 headphones this week, and the noise cancellation was weak. I was immediately taken care of and my questions and concerns were heard. Ran some audio tests, and ultimately we thought the best solution was to get replacement headphones. Although noise cancellation technology could be better, (I shouldn't be able to hear anything) the new pair are much better. He was kind, knowledgeable, patient and caring. I was assigned someone the guy didn't have time for me and he passed me over to a new guy who did not look comfortable with knowledge of the item and just looked to make a sale. I came in to ask questions and having done my research only to wind up returning the keyboard to another location and they DID HELP (5th avenue store) the location agreed with me that I was not sold the correct keyboard. The opening of this location was the best thing to happen to me, especially as an iPhone user. If I can't or prefer not to travel to Manhattan to pick up products-mostly replacement chargers- that I'd buy online or need tech support for my iPhone, iPad or MacBook, my needs can be met here. The Specialist are well-knowledgeable. As this is not a 24-hour location like Manhattan's 5th Avenue one, Queens Center's location closes when the mall does. They also will cease allowing customers in up to 15 minutes before official closing time. read more

I came in and And I approach three gentlemen that were standing I proceeded to ask if there is any way that somebody could see me in regards to a repair on my iPad as I'm talking to him he tells me "I wasn't listening to you" I then reply with the same tone he gave me" why are you acting like you're listening to me if you are not " then he said that's why am asking you to repeat yourself so I did. At that point he replied to me that there was no availability in which I understood because I came here to see if they had availability. This wasn't the problem, the problem is the way that my situation was approached. Brian who identified himself as a manager when I ask for one and when I ask for somebody that was higher than him he told me that nobody who I spoke to is going to help me that I would get the same result. With that being said, Brian made a lot of poor decision. One of them is make a decision for his manager. He didn't try anything to help me, I believe that he could approach my situation many way without making this a situation. Reviewing specifically about a genius bar appointment. I made a last minute appointment just about 2 hours ahead of time to have my iMac that has been stuck on the loading screen for awhile checked out. I had my suspicions that it was a hard drive failure after trying to do a couple of diagnoses myself. I arrived at the store just a little early and checked in one of the employees about my appointment. Todd was the person who helped me run a diagnostic to figure out the cause. It turns out that it was indeed a hard drive failure based on an early error that appeared on the test. He explained the options and didn't try to sell me anything which made the experience that much easier. He even recommended that purchasing a 3rd party SSD and having someone else install it (since Apple does not do 3rd party hardware installations) may be the better route because of my computer needs (such as video editing). After mulling over my options for awhile, I ended up opting for a replacement of the same hard drive that came when my iMac was purchased and having the service done at the store. The sole was because it would've been a huge hassle to haul it to another place (as a someone who doesn't drive). The total cost estimate came out to be around $250 without taxes (which isn't paid until the job is finished) and I left my iMac there until the repair. I was told that it would probably take a few days for the hard drive to arrive at the store and then some more to have it repaired. I would get a phone call once they finish. I've written my review before the job has been finished, but will definitely follow-up in a few months to give an update on how my computer is running after the repair! Todd's honesty, empathetic demeanor, kindness, and professionalism were the reasons I decided to write this review. A huge shout out to him for such great customer service! read more

Upon reading the recent reviews, I realized I wasn't the only one with a bad experience. I was around the area so I stopped by on Friday 10/1 around 4pm to see if I can replace my Apple Watch band. I was aware that to purchase any electronic device/product, an appointment is required. However, I was hoping just replace my old watch band and be in and out as quick as possible. Luckily, when I arrived, there wasn't a line. However, team member working at the front was unbelievably rude. I told him that I didn't have an appointment, but I just needed to replace my watch band. Initially he told me no, but when I asked again, he said that they could be found against the walls, which btw is false. I went towards the accessory section as instructed and wasn't able to find the watch bands. I asked a team member who was not assisting a customer at the moment where I can find them. She dismissively replied "over there". Like I'm supposed to know where it is considering I do not work at Apple. I wandered a little bit before finding the watch station. As I did not have an appointment, I waited to see if someone would free up. There were many team members who seemed to free (or at least without a customer), but didn't want to beg for service if they didn't want to provide one, so I just waited. Thankfully, this nice female team member (should've gotten her name) finished with her customer and helped me. She was so nice, sweet, and personable. She helped me choose between two colors and also helped me find the size to the solo loop band I wanted to purchase. She made small talk and really helped me to her best ability and even gave me knowledge about a possible trade in for my old watch. I left so happy and satisfied!! Unfortunately, the band was too big (not the team member's fault as she went based on apple's guide for sizing). So I returned back to the store hoping to just switch the size. The same team member in the front just ignored me while he went on chit chatting with his coworkers while dismissing any customer who seemed to be in need of help. I was able to locate the former team member who helped me, but she was going on a meal break so I decided to wait for someone else. Waited about 30 minutes with all these team members just walking back and forth without acknowledging my needs. I guess they require appointment for exchanges as well. Soon after, a male team member approached me. He acknowledged that I've been waiting for some time (as he had noticed) and came to help me even though Apple Watch was not his department. Also, like the former team member, he made small talk and the experience a very pleasant one. He helped me find the right size, and I am very satisfied with my band. This long review is to say that the store definitely needs either more employees or better understanding of providing customer service as a whole. Being dismissive towards a potential customer who's not fully aware of the store policies is unacceptable. They should educate their customers if they're not fully aware. I would've given 1 star, but I couldn't get myself to, as the two team members who helped me were only the sweetest and most helpful members that made the two trips in one day worth it. Only come here if you have all the time in the world. I had an appointment to trade in and purchase a new laptop for 5:30. I didn't end up getting help until 7:00pm. When it was all said and done, I left the store around 7:45. 2+ hours and I didn't even leave with everything I intended to get. It was packed, which is understandable because this was right before school started. While many customers are waiting to be helped, there are many employees just standing around talking with each other. The employees are lazy as well, telling me that they ran out of bags. I was not going to walk out of the mall and home carrying a $1000+ laptop in my hand, so I asked another employee who sure enough gave me a bag they "ran out of". I recommend driving the extra distance to an apple store in Long Island because you will end up spending the same amount of time anyways. I was in Queens Center mall doing some shopping and decided to walk in the Apple store as my airpods have not been functioning properly. Usually when you need assistance with your Apple products, you need to make an appointment ahead of time. I decided to try my luck and see if they can help me out without an appointment . I approached the girl at the Apple store and told her the issue I was having with my airpods. Immediately she signed me in and told me someone should be with me within 10 - 15 minutes. I dont think I waited longer than 5 minutes when a tech support employee called my name and asked me what was the issue with my headphones, I explained to him the problem, he took my airpods to the back and ran a diagnostic. Since I had purchase the Apple Care along with my airpods, the gentleman explained to me that he will be to replace my old airpods with a brand new pair. Came here on the day after iPhone debut day, and I was able to reserve an iPhone online and was able to pick it up in the store. When I woke up, the app had it available to reserve, and so I was able to get it and reserve it for a 10 AM pickup. When I walked up, the lady waiting outside assumed that I was there to join the throngs of people, but no, I had a reservation so I was led to another line. If I was just buying my phone, I would have been in and out of the store in 10 minutes. I also wanted an apple watch, too, so I was able to pick that up and was out within 20-30 minutes. Make a reservation people, so much easier than the long lined wait. Also, instead of just assuming people are there to wait in the long line, maybe ask if they have a reservation first? read more

Horrible location they take forever to attend to you and plus they always think you aren't buying nothing when you are here they are always picky about who they attend and complete ass holes in there that think there shit don't stink read more
