Apple stores, in general, terrify me. They are always obscenely packed, and there never seems to be any rhyme or reason as to where you can pick up your merchandise and check out. But I just had a fantastic experience at the Apple store at Aventura Mall, and had to share. I needed to pick up some Lightning cables for my new iPhone 5, since they're on a 2-3 week shipping delay online (and not available for several weeks at other retailers). I asked a couple employees at the entrance where I could find them, and they pointed me right to the rows and rows of chargers and cords. A grabbed what I needed and asked the next employee I saw if I could check out. She immediately pulled out her phone with its credit-card swiper, and in under a minute, I was walking out, Lightning cables in hand. I was definitely impressed at how utterly painless my Apple store experience was. Perhaps I might not be so hesitant to venture in the next time I need to pick up some gear. read more

I had poor customer advice this afternoon.. I was told that they were gonna run a test on my new AirPods.. so I had to wait and was told to come back at 6pm! I come back at exactly 6 and my stuff isn't ready. I've waited a hour and had to kill time and now I come to the table that they told me to come to.. the person says "I'll be with you next" then proceeds to take the next lady (White) that comes to the table and skips over me. And then another person comes and does the same exact thing.. he then says I'll be right with you and helps troubleshoots a woman who just walked up. I'm very annoyed and disappointed with the service that I've received today at this Apple store. In total I've wasted 2.5 hours for Apple to not replace my headphones after i drive 45 minutes to this store! Really felt like a race thing.. because myself and one other blacks person kept getting skipped over. read more

This review could have almost been a 1 star! Let me explain... I recently finally made the decision to purchase the iPhone 6 plus. Anyone knows that certain models are hard to get and this was the case for me. I spent days calling and going onto there website to find the model I wanted and one night it popped on my screen and I immediately reserved it at this location. Upon coming into the store, there was a huge line around it for folks who wanted to purchase the new iPhone... I couldn't help but smile and feel proud that I did not have to wait in line as I already reserved the phone right? WRONG! As I gave my confirmation number, I was told that although they have the phone I reserved, they could not give it to me as my wireless company cancelled the in store pickup (say whatttttt). I spoke with one of the managers of the store and although they already charged my card and my wireless carrier advised that they had no empowerment to cancel the in store pick up, he refused to go above and beyond to help me. I left the store with no phone and in disgust. I choose to come back the next day and see what else I could do... Here is where the one star turned to a four. I asked to speak with another manager and she was completely empathetic to the situation and realized how much of my time was already wasted and how my expectations were now lowered. She not only helped in getting me the phone but provided compensation of up to $50 in accessories for my new phone. She ensured that I was helped throughout the entire process and checked on me when everything was completed. She even provided me with her name and email address if anything needed to be addressed again. Although I had to drive to the store twice, Apple still has my vote as managers like her are empowered to turn things around. Although located in a mall, the location is pretty huge, it's actually the biggest Apple Store I've been to and because of that... It can get pretty crazy inside by security does there best to keep things aligned. The products are on display and available for you to use but beware that kids and even some adults will use the device until closing time so you may want to try another one to use. The checkout process is cool as they use a mobile device to do it so no having to wait in a line once you have picked everything. The store is clean and well laid out. I haven't tried the Genius Bar but I have heard great things about it! read more

Standing outside the location, it looks like a flash mob just hit the place. It is packed, always. If you have a germ fear like I sometimes do, then this place sometimes (for no rational reason) gives you the feeling that you will catch a cold (maybe it is all the people, maybe it is all of the people touching all of the gizmos). But it is great. I recently had the experience where my iPhone just simply went black. After being directed here, I walked up to the Genius Bar. I was quickly greeted and given an appointment. I came back at my allotted time and was taken exactly on time. (I was warned that this was unusual.) The experience was very pleasant and very quick. In short, my review is totally jaded. With no evidence of water damage, I had my iPhone replaced and a new one handed to me. The whole transaction took all of ten minutes. The experience could not have been more pleasant. read more

Had an amazing experience at Apple (Aventura location) with Zury from the Genius Bar. I made an appointment. This is key fellow Apple users. Same day appointment was available and a rep helped me within 5min of arrival as I was on time. Zury explained the trouble shooting process thoroughly and throughout every step of the way. We had a funny chat and after 1 quick hour my issues were resolved and I was on my way. Definitely recommend this location but make your appointments as in a mall setting "walk-ins" are inevitable and may take time. read more

Great store, great products.....just don't expect to get quick service if you have an issue with your product. Called up to talk about my issue with my ipad 2. They told me to make an appointment online. Fine, easy. Done. Got there only to wait behind people who went to the store WITHOUT an appointment, which was very annoying. Why make an appointment and then not honor it? Place is always buzzing with people, but service isn't great. Once I got to someone to solve my issue I found them very skilled and knowledgeable, but the wait was atrocious. read more

Great experience. Shar who is one of the expert is top of line customer service. You can tell she cares about her job. She is well spoken, courteous, extremely informative, and very patient with customers. I can tell the customers that come into this store are not easy to deal with so kuddos to her! Horrible customer service,they have a line and the employees said wait time was 30 to 40 minutes, it was more than an hour , they don't have enough people helping, be prepared to get frustrated long wait, its not like we are buying bread or anything, these are expensive products and Apple should be more organized and work on their customer service. Alot of my apple experiences have been great, this store was exceptional that's why I had a need to write about it. First off, I was assisted immediately. This was the weekend they just started using the IPADs for all their business needs IN the store. It's a great selling tool, and it really helps all of the associates communicate better. They made an appt. for me because I had to get my computer fixed and I was escorted to the area where the technicians were. The technician was terrificly helpful and tried to impose different methods before suggesting that I send it out. I have been to apple stores in NJ and alot of them are snotty and act as if you are a moron. This was not the case here. Also, it was really crowded that Sunday and I really do not have a single bad thing to say. I hope they would transfer it to NJ! read more

I did not receive good customer service at all at the Verizon store when I was having a problem just days later, and then was told that I needed to go directly to Apple to fix my problem. This was quite far as I live in Brickel. The drive was horrible as I actually got in a mini accident along the way. Needless to say, I was very distraught arriving at Apple. Jacob assisted me and fixed my problem 100% from the beginning. He told me to sit down and relax and made the process very smooth. I could not stay frustrated because of the positive energy that he exuded. The problem that I had with my iPhone was that I was not able to speak on calls as the other party could not hear anything that I was saying and there was a loud ringing noise. This happened for an entire day and was very frustrating. Even though I had purchased the phone at Verizon and technically apple does not have to give me a new one, Jacob understood how frustrated I was and quickly gave me a new phone. He backed up all my info and it took about 10 minutes. Apple will always stay a dominant company in America because of the people that they hire and customer service that they continuously maintain. I really was impressed at the customer service as it was in no comparison to the sleazy Verizon wireless "customer service" that I received. read more

1) Ordered a $8 USB-C to VGA adapter on Amazon for the new MacBook, and it stopped working. Didn't have enough time to order another one. Called and found out that the Apple version is $79. $79! And they wouldn't hold it for me over the phone unless I paid for it first. 2) Showed up at the store, which was super crowded. None of the dozens of employees, many of whom were milling around chatting with each other, offered to help. Found the adapter on my own--it was on the top row of hanging products, and clearly I was struggling to get it down. Three employees were standing by, watching. No one offered to help, and finally, it fell and hit me in the face--at which point one of them said, "Oh, next time you should ask for help." Fantastic. 3) Couldn't find anyone to take my $79. I'm walking around trying to make eye contact with any employee, and everyone looked away or pretended to be super-involved in their co-worker conversations. Finally, I asked a stray employee, and they claimed they couldn't help. Now you're going to make me beg for you to take away my money for an overpriced adapter? Sigh. read more

Yep, I gotta give credit where credit is due. This place is AWESOME. I made the mistake to go to a couple 3rd party places to fix my broken Imac. Not only did iI get ripped off a couple times but I kept having issues with my machine. I finally decided to go to the apple store in aventura. I was surprised to find that they did a free diagnostics and fixed the problem at almost half the price! Peace of mind goes a long way here because the staff treats you honestly. No smoken mirrors here. The only complaint is the crowded atmosphere but the masive amount of apple employees and quick responsive customer service compensates :) Its no wonder its so crowded, because I always will be coming back for future needs. Wow! This Apple Store is PACKED. I went on a Sunday at 3 PM for a MobileMe workshop and it was very crowded. Can't say that's a positive for me but it definitely is a positive for Apple. With the amount of people that come into this store, it would be a good idea to expand! The workshop was really good and helpful. I came in to learn more about MobileMe and with a question. This is a busy Apple Store! That said, the staff has always been helpful when I've popped in and had questions. Notably nice are Sebastian and Nicholas. The location is convenient (inside the Aventura mall) but once again, can get quite busy. My advice would be to try to go during the week or on the early side of the day if you go on a weekend. read more

Made an appointment to see someone at the Genius Bar here and if anyone has been to an Apple store, you know they're right on time. Met Natalie and explained to her my problem; needed to update my phone with the latest iOS 6 and back up my phone. I told her of my issues from before and was worried that my Sony Vaio would not work well since in the past, did not work well with my iPhone. She was confident that it would and so I took the plunge and began backing up all my 1300+ contacts, photos, videos, notes and other info. Well the back up went fine not issues. Then we updated the phone software from their MacBook Pro since through my computer, it was taking too long. Soon after she had to leave and Brian from the Business Dept took over. Brian, super nice guy, but didn't see to know as much as her. Turns out that when my phone was doing a restore from the back up from my computer it failed a few minutes into it. Constantly showed a message and NO ONE from the store could tell me why! After 41/2 hours and a completely wiped out phone, I was ready to cry, or bite someone's head off. Today I moved our 25% of my computer's memory and tried to do another restore from back up and.....................................it worked flawlessly!!! Recovered all my contacts, texts, emails, passwords, photos and videos! Everything. And that's why Apple is hands down, the best phone out there. 5 stars is for Natilie that was ever so helpful, and confident that it would work out. I will let them know what the issue is because I'm sure other people may experience the same issue. I was going to get a MacBook Pro just because of the need to run iTunes the right way via through my iPhone, but now that my issues are solved, phone updated with new software, I am as happy as can be. read more

I was at the Aventura Apple store because my phone had a broken charging port, unfortunately they were not able to fix it and I had to get a new phone on a later day. However, I want to rave about one of their team members. Janice was there from the Boca store helping while the Apple store in Aventura moved to another location within the mall. I was with my 9 and 5 year old boys, who are tireless, and Janice made my waiting experience soooo much better while educating us on the newest products and features. She described each product so passionately and treated my children as if they were customers and with lots of patience. She told me of programs that Apple has to educate children. I walked out a more educated Apple consumer and not too upset about the fact that my phone was done. Amazing job Janice!!! Hope you get the recognition you deserve! read more

In all honesty I wanna give this place a three star, and frankly its not at all the fault of Apple per say. Its just the crowds here are terrible. And the only reason it gets an extra star is because the staff here are trying they best with the shear amount of crowds that pretty much bum rush them constantly. But me personally I try and get an appointment, because if you try and do a walk-in there's no point because you'll be waiting there for hours it seems. On this visit I was literally there to just pick up a part for my AirPods and I was seen right away but still had to wait. Not because they had to find my part, nope. Just because what they try and do is get a bunch of peoples name and then get all their parts. Then you have to wait so they can check you out with your part then. But like I said overall this place gets BUSY all the time. But Credit to all the staff that try and streamline everyone. read more

I went here on Sunday afternoon around 12:30. I was surprised to see that the store was already packed since it opened at 12:00noon, and I do like the enthusiasm and excitement shared by other customers for Apple products. As soon as I walked in, there were two associates waiting for customers approach. I knew just what I wanted, and Mohammad helped me to quickly get in and out. Since Sprint was slow to answer to get my phone set up in the store, I easily and quickly activated it at home. Easy store to access from parking lot or garage. Good store hours. Best experience EVER at an Apple Store. :) Usually a visit to Apple involves long waits, rude employees, sneering attitudinal geniuses and having to bounce through several people to get an answer or service. You can believe how shocked I was that a store in one of the busiest malls on one of the busiest retail weekend of the year that there were smiling helpful humans. I had really nice customer service from the specialist who helped me pick out a watch and all of the other floor staff who checked in to make sure I was being assisted while I was waiting on product delivery. Bad bad experience. When I bought my iPhone 7 2 years ago they told me that phone unlocked for any carriers, but it wasn't true. After 2 years using this phone I did erase the phone and problem comes up. My phone was locked for some reason from Sprint carrier. I went to this store to resolve this problem, but they told me I suppose to call to sprint support after spending 2 hours on the phone they didn't help me at all!!! They told me Apple will help you. But they didn't. Even main supervisor told me we couldn't help you at all!!!! What that means I suppose to throw it away??? When I bought this phone they told me different songs!! And now they don't want to do something, even replace it. But I don't want to replace this phone because it were working perfectly during 2 years. I hope someone will read this. read more

I went to get my phone replaced, and was sent to another section of the store to get a screen protector. I was then told I needed a different appointment, which was over a week away. They mocked me, would not allow me to speak to a manager, and the security guard gave me the finger. I had to leave with an unfinished product. Most disrespectful experience at Apple I have ever had. It is amazing how Apple has changed the entire electronics shopping experience for the better. I love playing with the products, the accessories that Apples chooses are always high quality, the knowledge of the sales people is amazing and the ease of checkout caps off the experience. It is also nice to see how well trained, well selected and positive the sales people are. You go into Best Buy and it's obvious that the sales people hate their jobs - at Apple they are happy to have them. Side note: I believe this store opens an hour early than any other store in the mall... and there is always a line waiting. read more

OK, I live in San Francisco and have been to every Apple store in SF so when I HAD to replace my iPhone while in Miami I was not happy- expecting the same poor treatment there as I receive in SF. Boy was I wrong! Although the place was awash in customers it was also filled with employees. It took no time (literally) before I was helped. I was in a very "delicate" mental state as I had been assaulted the evening before and therefore needed to replace my phone. Tina and Jeff were so kind and helpful that it spurred me to write this (my first) Yelp review ever. I don't know know if it's the customer service training or if Tina and Jeff were actual angles on Earth but everyone who works in customer service should aspire to be them. Took in my daughters phone to get assistance diagnosing an issue she has been having. We got there pretty early and immediately someone greeted us at the door and took our info and told us to expect to be texted when they open. Soon enough we got the text with instructions to return store. Once there we were assisted on immediately, upon entering thru the door, and 45 mins later we were done. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would highly suggest to please go early to be in and out quicker, otherwise it becomes a full house with longer wait times. My mother and I walk into the store knowing we had an appointment. This was the second time we go in and they tell us the appointment was never in the system. So, we try to explain to them that this happened before and so when we made the appointment we made sure our name was in the system. They wouldn't let us explain and was trying to put us in the back of the line where the "no appointment" line was. That's when I asked for a manager so we can go in depth to find what happened. When the manager comes, me and my mom try to explain what happened and the manager rudely states "I'm only going to speak to one of you." I go ahead and start explaining the whole story and he states that they can put us in the front without an appointment and I explain how that's not what we are trying to do we are trying to find our appointment .. and he's like I'll go ahead and make another one next week.. and I said but it's going to happen again it's not fair to us either that you put us all the way in the back for a glitch on your side. He starts getting defensive and says "I'm not talking to you anymore I will have you escorted " is this because he didn't want to find himself in the wrong? ... so I state "are you kidding me? Are we little kids here?" My mom goes ahead and just tries to clarify the situation with him and asked if there is anyway we can find the guys name that took care of us since he also ended up fixing my phone last time. And so I go on and say (nicely avoiding how rude and immature he just was) "yes that's what I'm trying to say could you please look up my phone when you guys fixed it and who looked it up?" And he put his hands in front of my face and says "I'm not talking to you" and decides to aggressively pat his hands on my back. Remind you he was the manager. I could not believe he put his hands on me. Horrible experience and worst service of my life. First, he doesn't try to take care of us nicely, refuses to help a certain way, threatens to have me escorted, and when I try to help resolve the problem ... doesn't talk to me and the manager puts his hands on me. read more

So the walk in wait was 3.5 hours! But they texted me when it was close to my time and was able to just go to work and wait for the text. I have went to this store before and service was decent. This week Kris saw me and he was outstanding! He was respectful, patient, and responsive. Despite the ridiculous amount of customers waiting he made sure all of my concerns were handled and he even taught me something's about my phone, including notifying me of a repair I was eligible for. I love this store, and the staff is always helpful... But it's not getting 5 stars because this store is always packed! This is not the store's fault; however, I'm basically deducting a star for one particular day...the day the iPhone 4 was released. I waited FOREVER. The staff couldn't handle it. They were making lines that didn't make any sense. So the majority of people that got there at 3 am or earlier, waited 10+ hours for their phone & people that showed up after 9 or 10 am just joined the crowd up front and only waited an hour or so. It was ridiculous. The staff would come around with snacks and water, but no one had any answers and they couldn't seem to organize a ticket system for those of us that got there early. Once they realized they had enough phones, they didn't seem to care how long people waited. Other than this one experience, I don't really have any complaints. Like I said, this place is always crowded, but that's not the store's fault and they usually handle it well. One thing I love about the apple store is the receipt that is automatically e-mailed to you when you pay for things with the same credit card on your itunes account. read more

Great service! Got helped right away and put in their waiting system. They told me it would be 20 min but was only like 10 min before they sent us a text that they were ready for us.
