This was my second time having a problem the first was because the lady who did my nails did dip and had no actual idea of what she was doing her name was Lynn. My second in counter was yesterday 11/16/19 and I got a refill with shellac because it was the only form of product that had the color that I wanted. She shaped my nails ok but when it came to putting the gel on it went south. Julie could barley communicate with me and no one was there to assist with what I needed .The manager told me I could come back tomorrow,but this is the second time id have to be assisted 2X for one service . I spent over $60 on a refill $40 for this service and then I had to go else where to get it fixed for $20. read more

This was my first visit here and trying dip powder for the first time. I normally do gel. Helen did my dip powder set. She didn't get me. I wanted my nails to look different for a wedding. I have bright red hair, simple plain colors isn't me. I ask for ombré. She convinced me to do a neutral color with a sparkle nail. The sparkle nail I loved but the other color I simply did not like at all. She said she couldn't do ombré with the colors I had. I ask to do a design on at least one nail on each hand to give it personality and she said it would be too much for a wedding. I didn't want to sit there and argue with her since I was already aggravated and had to leave. It was $45 (pricy in my book) for my service and I wasn't in love with my color. I was really hoping I got someone really artistic who loves doing different things on nails, but I didn't. The customer service was ok, they were busy servicing a birthday party. The place was clean but the tables made it uncomfortable because your legs don't go all the way in so you stay hunched over the whole time they are doing your nails. It looked liked they had a full bar. I couldn't take advantage of that but they did give me some cucumber water that was fabulously cold. I really can't review the SNS dip powder because this is my first time I hope to update my review in a few week when o see how long they really do last. I was told it would last weeks even longer if I take care of them. I like the way they feel and the length was great for work. She did cut me with the nail file on one of my fingers. I'm suppose to be back next with the bridal party for a pedicure. Let's see how that goes. ------------------ Update 8/10/17 I came in with a bridal party and they were very tentative with a big group in a private room. I only got a pedicure because I got my nails done last week. I got the fruit and herbal pedi. It was different fragrance was great. Kayla was my tech, did a good job on my nails. It was painful but it was because I have two ingrown nails which she removed and no longer hurts. My pedi came with a hot stone massage with didn't impress me. The massage overall could have been better. I felt as if someone was just rubbing on lotion and the stones felt like they were just trying to get me used to the temp. The scrub I got wasn't as abrasive as I wanted but my legs were left very soft. The pedi station I was had no massage function but the bowls were extremely clean and they use covers which I approve off. The bride made us wear the same ugly color so I don't blame that for them but she did a great job applying it and even fixed it correctly after my nails scraped my sandal. read more

No, don't do it. I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I was told the minute I walked in I couldn't have my hands and feet done at the same time because of a party, yet I saw several people walking around laughing and doing nothing. Ok so that fine I say I'll only do my nails then. The lady who's with me first isn't the technician who actually did my nails. She was trying to pop off my old nails with another nail which can be extremely painful and I asked her not to because one of my nails had been broken all the way through my nail bed and it was too painful. She tossed the nail and slammed down the lid to the nail container. Never looked at me or said a word. She was completely annoyed that I had any sort of discomfort and that she couldn't do it her way. She proceeds to soak my nails. When she's done she says she'll be back in 5 and then throws down the spiral ring of several nail choices and says pick a color while walking off quickly. Fast forward to 20 mins later and she asks if I found a color. I said well I can't look when I have no hands to do so with, my nails are soaking. I also said these colors at a glance look like glitter power and I'd like solids if that's ok. She rolls her eyes and walks away. Now it's been 30 mins without my actual technician when it was supposed to be five. Still don't have the other color options and I'm still soaking my nails. I told three different people I needed the other sets of colors and it took a lifetime to get them to me. My Technician finally arrives probably about 40 minutes into this appointment. I am thrilled that the rude lady who was working on me before wasn't going to be the lady that was going to actually do my nails. This lady glues on a new set and then trims them crooked. I said are you aware that these nails are crooked? She said yes I'll fix them when I am filing. So I think nothing of it and I let her continue. While she's doing my nails on several occasions she tries to persuade me to do a shellac or dip powder. I explained over and over again that I preferred regular powder and the reasons for that. She still felt the need to persuade me to try to get something other than what I wanted. I noticed the power has an uneven color to is and looked marbled. I pointed it and and asked if that's how the finished product would look (because from experience it is) and she yanks my hand back and says no. Never in my life have I had this happen to me. Now let's talk about the actual nails.... been getting my nails done for 17 years and by far this is one of the worst jobs I've ever seen. One of the false nails isn't even fully glued to my nail. There is an actual huge gap between my real nail and the fake nail that she glued on. That can actually caused you to get a fungus and lose your whole nail if you aren't careful! My nails are completely cut crooked like I knew they would be when I pointed it out the first rime. She put the powder all the way over my cuticle and outside my actual nail bed without cleaning it up. She did them so wide that I look like I have hammer fingers. She didn't clean up under the nails so I had powder sticking from my nails to my actual skin. All of the nails are uneven and in awkward shape. This terrible nail experience of just my hands took an hour and 45 minutes of my day. After this entire or deal I am greeted at the front by a really sweet lady who asked me how everything was. I laughed and went into full details where o met Roger the manager. He was pretty upset and seemed very concerned. Who knows if he really was. He asked if I'd give them another shot and offered to comp my next set. So I will go back just for that and do a follow up review! I told the nail tech Julie that I wasn't liking how thick she was leaving my nails she got bothered so I asked her to just remove them she got upset called all her nail techs they made me explain to them about 5 times why I wasn't satisfied... I'm disappointed that I didn't come here sooner! The first thing I saw was the bar when I walked in and I was quickly greeted with a drink and taken to my chair for a pedicure within 2 minutes of arriving. The service was excellent and the salon felt clean and luxurious. I was in and out in less than an hour after getting my mani & pedi ON A WEEKEND! Went there yesterday for the first time. The place looks nice and is clean. The problem that I have is with the lady who greeted me, started my nails and took my money in the end. She was so incredibly RUDE!! I couldn't believe it. Not friendly, never smiled and actually jerked my hand/arm (then gave me a dirty look like I had done something) when she was taking off my old nails. Thank goodness a male nail tech came over and took over what she started. He did the majority of my acrylic fill was nice and did a good job. Have been coming to this salon since they opened. Have only had one previous bad experience and he ended up quitting. The girl who used to work the front desk was always super helpful and when I had a problem with him I told her. She knew me by name every time I came in and made sure she didn't put me with him. The service has gone down hill! The sweet front desk girl has not been there the last two times and I haven't see anyone I recognize. This past weekend I went with my mom and sister. They seated us all together but didn't have anyone start on my polish change until they were done with my nails (same girl and she did a good job on my nails, polish change wasn't the best I have ever had but it was ok). The new front desk girl (whose name i didn't catch but noticed her badge said manager) rushed us back to the seats and I said I hadn't had the chance to pick a color. She said she would bring me the colors but never did. I asked two more times when she walked by while i was getting my nails done (French dip) and she said she would get them but never did. Luckily the sweet girl doing my nails has one set of regular polish colors so I chose from that. I am not sure what happened with staff but the change is undesirable and I sure wish it was back to the way things were! read more

I went last December 22 for gel pedicure and acrylic manicure. The lady who worked on my nail did a very bad job. It was a coffin chrome acrylic design. All the shapes of my acrylic was not even with each other. Some of my fingers was wounded because she did file them very hard. When the nail tech put the liquid and powder acrylic it is touching the skin of my finger that leave residue glue like and that hurts when it dries because it is pulling the skin on the side of my nail. Also there are over residue on the tip which is very dangerous as this residue can result in accident when you touch any metal parts of any railing as you finger can get stuck because of that residue. I had an accident in home depot when I picked up the fertilizer on the metal railing my finger got stuck in the metal railing because of my acrylic nail. I ended up having mallet forefinger and it cuts my nails off the nail bed. The chrome that was put was coming off in less than 3 days it was put. It was a very bad job she did. Very bad experience I had for the first time getting my nails done in Texas. read more

I just moved down from Miami and was looking for a salon nearby. I tried out this location and love it. The place is really nice and clean. The staff was kind and I got the pamper me treatment on my feet which felt amazing. I love the hot stone massage and paraffin treatment in my hands and feet felt amazing!!! I resisted posting a yelp review the last time I came here and also resisted not coming back, because I know Catherine is amazing and she does great with my nails. however this time is absolutely ridiculous. I got my nails refilled they charged me extra for them being long (and they are not that long) as well as additional for the shape (they are between square and coffin). Never have I been charged for this except the last time I was here!. Now I said OK fine. I asked for a polish change on my toes because I wanted them to match my nails, red. and I also really didn't care for the color I got a week ago, however I know a polish change is $10 on toes here. Also keeping in mind I just got a pedicure here and exactly one week ago. They said it would be $15 today. I said why would I be $15 for a polish change, it's $10. Can you please show me on the menu. I waited several minutes, and when I went looked back at the front desk they were in the process of changing the price on a menu!!!!!! Seriously!?! This is absolutely absurd, the new manager is the most unprofessional nail salon manager I've ever met in my 20 years of getting my nails done. Catherine and some of the other people that work here are really good. However this new management has made this place go way down hill. This is the reason why they have to have so many coupons and things like that now. Which they didn't necessarily have to have a before because they were the nicest in the area. Although the interior and everything is still very nice. The unprofessionalism is absurd. The last time I came in here a week ago, there was a man who had just recently gotten a manicure who was very upset and they continued to argue with him in front of all of the customers. To the point where he came over to me and asked me if I would pay for this for my husband and wanted to speak with the manager, however the manager was not available. Last night I tried Lush again. I found my massage to be slightly expensive however it does come with cocktails so you get what you pay for. The staff was much more friendly and we made appointments to come back. My only recommendation is to explain the process. When you sit if you press the bell they will bring you your drink order. This was not explained on either visit however this Tim I went with a friend who knew the drill. The place is so nice. Everything is state of the art. So disappointed....yesterday i went to get a fill. I said i had gotten dip the first time and since it was my first time doing dip I didn't know what needed to be done. The lady did a color powder on my nail (not the dip way) and my nails are super thick. I asked for a nail are design and turned out not good. I went back to get it fixed and it was not done well. My nails have rough spots, missing polish in some areas and can tell she was rushing. She complained to me about me coming back in because she hasn't been given new customers because she spent 2hrs on my nails. The main reason was because she was watching her soap operas on her phone. Already today the polish is lifting off the edges of my nails and I haven't done anything in the past 24hrs to make this happen. I have come here multiple times and i will not be coming back. This was horrible.... 7/15/18 - update The manager apologized and had Jaime fix my nails. If you want your manicure to be done properly go to Jaime. i've been coming here to get lash extensions for almost 3 years now. up until recently i've had a great experience. about 3 months ago my lashes wouldn't even last a week without half of them falling out. today i went in for a completely full set and left extremely disappointed. i have lashes not fully glued to my natural lashes which is causing them to poke into my eye, some of the lashes are practically going sideways, hard clumps due to so much glue, missing spots, and not to mention there's something white glued into my lashes that i can't get out. i talked to the manager and told her i didn't like them and proceed to tell me "that's how they're supposed to look". this has always been my go to nail and lash place since they opened but as of today i will not be returning. read more

So I went for a mani and pedi today. The guy working on me didn't even clean between my nails before polishing. I also got a RINGWORM! (I'm for certain it was from here) Very disappointed. Took my 2 daughters for a back to school mani & pedi treat and a pedi for myself. HUGE disappointment. My pedicure was awful and when i left i didn't even feel I had had a pedicure and you could still see my previous polish through the new polish...and my girls varnish just 'fell' off. I requested an eyebrow wax at check-in which they completely forgot about and after the effort i saw they put into my feet i didn't even bother to remind them. Upon checking out today, I informed the receptionist that I was left alone for 20 minutes in the pedicure chair and I had messed up my polish when I put on my shoes myself. She made no effort to do more than apologize to me and let me know that she would follow up so it didn't happen again. I was then charged full rate. Irritated I still paid it but did not leave a tip and left. Still upset about being charged for poor service and the service when I checked out, I called back about a half an hour later. I got the same girl on the telephone who said she didn't understand that my polish was messed up. This was the first time she offered to fix it. I didn't have time at this point to come back to the salon and felt they should refund part of the service. I also wanted part of the refund to go to the manicure technician Is that person shouldn't be penalized for the poor service during the pedicure. At this point I was handed to the bartender and had to re-explain my situation. He offered to fix my toes again and I explained again that I did not have time nor did I wish to waste anymore of my time. I didn't feel that I should be charged for service that I didn't receive. Although I was impressed with the ambiance in this establishment, no amount of chandeliers can make up for the weeks I've spent now writing my bank, filing disputes, speaking to managers, tracing account information etc. with my one year old screaming or taking time off work to get the $60 back that was overcharged on my account. Which cause and effect, the bank has now had to send me a new card and Ive had to change bank information with every establishment my bills are connected to. At this point, I wish I could pop my nails off and request a full refund, because this is not worth the time. I would expect that a company would not add $60 on a $45 authorization but more so, I would hope that if unintentionally this did happen that they would fix it. Unfortunately this isn't the case. Paid for an upgraded pedicure and barely got a basic one. The technician (Tee) was so rough with the filer and cuticle pusher that he caused me pain. Three times I told him he was being too rough but he was more concerned with watching the TVs and/or other girls working there. I gave 2 stars because, a week later, the polish is still on my toes. Other than that, I'd have given 1 star. I will not be returning for an overpriced, poorly performed pedicure again. read more

This place is NOT what it used to be when it was ran by Mimi! This USED to be my go to nail place.. I didn't care how expensive they were, but now things have gone down hill since Mimi just sales her shops to ANYONE! I went in for a refill on my nails and a pedicure. My go to person is Maddy, she sometimes does both my nails and toes, but I decided to let someone else to do my toes so It wouldn't be a long process. My nails came out good like always, but my toes looked like my 3 year old son painted them. It was all kinds of polish on my skin, and my toes looked ashy because she attempted to clean some of the polish off but it still looked UGLY and horrible! The fact that she was going to leave my toes like that really shocked me! I told her that it was ugly and I wanted it fix because I am NOT paying for that. She redid it and it STILL LOOKED BAD!!! Polish was still on the skin and my toe nail skin was all white ashy looking! So since Maddy was to scared to fix it, I requested to speak to the owner. The owner came over looked and tried to clean off the polish on my skin, then when I pointed out how the skin on my toes looked like I been playing in powder she goes "that's dry skin, I put oil on it to fix it" so she puts a drop of oil on my skin and it barely fixed the issue smh ... so I was mad and just paid the 70 dollars! As I was being checked out by the receptionist, the owner comes up there talking to the receptionist i guess aggressively.. so I figured she was talking about me.. I wanted to take it there with her, and say uhmm... are you talking about me if so talk where I can understand it because she was speaking in her language so I couldn't understand it obviously, but I was like I am going to take the high roll because why check someone who is clearly scary, that's why she is talking in her language about me. So when I left my boyfriend told me my toes looked really bad, so I was like ok that's it I am going to go back and make them fix this! So I went back in and told them I am just unhappy with this and want it fixed, maybe changing the color would help.. so I heard the owner yelling in the back and she finally comes to me and started to redo my toes white like I requested... sad to say her work was very much so UGLY I should've stuck with what i had, but because I was so mad I just said thank you and left! I want to let people know this place has changed for the worst, most of the technicians do BAD JOBS except Maddy, but I wasn't happy how Maddy was acting scared to fix my toes so I will just spend my money else where because this place is very expensive and I am not going to pay big money for a slop of a job! The owner is very unprofessional and if the owner can't even do a good job of painting toes that should speak for itself. I am honestly very disappointed, I went in to get simple coffin shape to yellow nails with a plaid design on the ring finger. I did not want my nails very long so I had to ask the technician to cut them down several times because they weren't short enough, which was fine. But then as the shaping process began she was very aggressive with my nails and ended up cutting me into my nail bed. The shape is different on every single one of my nails and most of them are very crooked. Then I showed her the plaid design that I wanted for my nails and she did the design very well, but then when she put the topcoat on she's smudged both designs so they do not look good anymore. This would all have been fine if the prices are the same as they are listed on the website($33) but they are not, when you get to the store they are $15 more than they are on the website. And then when you get a check out I ended up paying $60 for my nails. It was definitely NOT worth it I would never pay $60 for someone to make all of my nails crooked and to smudge the design. I really tried my hardest to communicate with my technician. I'm just so very unhappy and wish I could get a refund. I also told the lady who checked me out of the counter that I have been cut in all she had to say was "sorry" after she looked at it. It's all very sad because I love the atmosphere, and I loved how kind to people were, and I had a really good time with my friends I just wish I had gotten what I wanted for my nails. read more
