My dad and I went yesterday afternoon to repair his iPhone. It was having a screen issue where the display was tinted red. When we arrived, we are immediately greeted and we explained the issue. The greeter sent us to the front, which we explained the situation again. The person in the front first thought it was a settings issue, and tinkered with the settings, but no luck. Other helpers came to debug as well, but didn't have luck. They then thought it could be a software glitch, so they asked if they could factory reset the phone, in which we said ok. We sat and waited in table while they reset the phone. It took some time, but after the reset, the screen was still tinted red. They then said, the screen must be the issue and it needs to be replaced. Since, we bought it within a year, they mentioned no change due to being under warranty. They mentioned a two hour wait, so we decided to have dinner and come back. Two hours later, the iPhone came back in the estimated time, and it the display is much better! There is no more red tint and everything looks correct. Unfortunately, they did have to remove the screen protector and case, so we may have to get a new screen protector and recase the phone. However, every worker that helped us worked together in getting the display fixed. The vibe is pretty loud and collaborative, but there are ample chairs to sit and wait while get helped from the staff. Of course there are the phones, iPads, watches, and other items you can buy, and it's in the flagship pricing ranges. Honestly, I am giving Apple 5 stars because of the great customer service and nice vibes. Even though it took a while to get it fixed, we were able to eat at the mall while they fixed it. I bought a phone from this location. Years ago, I got my IPhone 10 at this location. It seems like a less busy location compared to Florida Mall at the time. The service at this location is always nice. The team seems to care and don't pressure you for a sale. I've been to plenty Apple stores, and this one and Altamonte are my favorites. read more

We had an excellent experience at this Apple Store recently. I just needed a quick diagnostics of my phone just to consider a replacement. Alejandra was professional, friendly and informative. We found out my battery was starting to degrade; but, it was not eminent that the phone would fail. With this information, we will likely do a replacement in the next year; but, nothing eminent. Very good experience and I would always recommend making an appointment in doing a I-cloud backup of your phone just before you go in there (just in case you need to replace it). Apple Millenia is always an introvert's worst nightmare. This particular location is always busy - no matter the time of day. There's always so MANY people here and it gets quite overwhelming at times especially if you are only going into the store for a pick-up order or repairs (like I did the other evening). I set an appointment to replace my dying battery in my iPhone 13 (yes, you read that correctly - I still have my 13 and it works just fine). I placed it for the late evening thinking maybe I'd beat some of the crowd. To my dismay, I did not. Not only was it busy, there was a line to get into the store. I was SHOOK. I managed to get the attention of a staff member to check me in for my repairs and eventually got seen after about 20 or so minutes. Once they took the phone back to begin repairs, I was given a ticket to pick up the phone just before closing. That left me with about an hour of shopping around the mall. I ended up grabbing a bite and then made my way back to the store. Again, to my dismay, my phone was not ready. Ultimately, the repairs ran over by about 15 minutes and I am confident it was due to the sheer amount of people in the store that evening. The wait was annoying but I was entertained through people watching. Anyways, if I can avoid this store, I will. I hate going to Apple Millenia because I always end up waiting longer than what they anticipate. Beyond that, the staff are always kind. They do the best they can and I commend them for it. I do think they need a more streamlined process for guests not purchasing in store but I don't know what to suggest beyond having a designated store location just for repairs or a more secluded area in the store itself. As far as value goes, it was $89.00 to replace my battery with tax. It's an older phone, so, I thought it was quite fair for an Apple product. They did give me a new screen protector as they had to remove my previous one during repairs - so that was a perk. All in all, this store is just overstimulating. I'll stick to ordering my Apple products online. And should I need repairs again, maybe I'll just go right when the store opens. read more

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a deeply concerning experience at the Apple Store in Millenia. I visited the store to have my phone battery replaced. After an initial inspection, the technician confirmed that only the battery needed service. However, the process resulted in a series of service failures: - Damage to Device: During the battery replacement, the technician broke the screen. Upon attempting to fix the screen, I was informed that the front camera was also broken. - Inadequate Resolution: I was told the store did not have a replacement device in stock and was instructed to return in a week. I was sent away with a device that now has a non-functional camera. - Data Loss: Most distressingly, my phone was restarted/reset, resulting in the loss of all my data. - Conflicting Documentation: When I contacted Apple Customer Care, I was told that store notes claim the phone was returned to me in perfect condition, which is factually incorrect. The service I received was unacceptable, and the lack of support from customer care has been equally frustrating. I was concerned when we accidentally selected this location to pick up our new phones....but it wasn't too bad! (Aka traffic) The folks that work here are so incredibly sweet. The store is immaculate. Lots of items and colors and styles and specs to choose from. I appreciate that I was able to go for a 12 to a 16 with my 12 still being worth $$$$ after all of these years...all of the accidental trips they made in the ocean and springs, and still worked like a charm. My experience with this Apple Store was absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've had a negative experience here, but this situation finally pushed me to write a review. On 03/06 I placed an order at this store with the help of the employees. I always assumed that Apple Store staff were there to assist customers. However, in reality it seems like their main activity is simply walking around the store while providing little to no actual help. As a result, I never received my device because the order was sent back for an unclear reason. When I came to the store to figure out what happened, an employee named Tony told me that it was supposedly my fault because I "wasn't home all day waiting for the delivery." That explanation sounds completely absurd. Previously, my iPhone 15 was delivered right to my door without any issues, and nobody sent it back just because I wasn't home at the moment of delivery. When I asked if I could simply place the order again and pick it up directly in the store, I was told that it was not possible. So if a person works and cannot stay at home all day waiting for a package, they basically have no way of receiving their order? What makes this even worse is that no one warned me about these conditions in advance and no alternative delivery or pickup options were offered. Considering the reputation of Apple, this level of service is shocking. Instead of helping resolve the situation, the staff showed no interest in assisting and simply shifted the blame onto the customer. Honestly, the customer service from Apple lately has been just complete garbage. I opened up a credit card with them on my Apple ID and since I wanted to get a new phone and a new number and a new Apple ID apparently I can't transfer over my credit card information and they did a hard inquiry to open my account and in order to close my account, they would have to do a hard inquiry, which is fucking ridiculous. Literally every bank on this planet I'm able to change my contact information for and do absolutely anything I need to do and add that card on a new Apple phone or Apple Pay whatever y'all really fucking suck. I was having some issues with my phone's battery and she was patient as I explained my issues and talked about the steps we'd taken to try and fix things before coming in. It has the usual pristine and sterile feel that this chain is known for. Everything is white or natural wood and it's inviting to go in. The biggest issue is the crowds. It's forever busy, and I mean to the point there's a wait outside to get inside busy. I don't mind popping in here to see what they have and just look, but the crowded nature of it is off putting, and not for me. The staff is always caught up with customers so asking questions is pretty much a no go despite how many employees they have there. More often than not I'm there only in a 'browsing' role, and I am impressed each and every time by how well they manage a very active retail location. This was our first visit to this location and they were just as busy as the other ones. We walked in and I spoke to one of the salesmen about exactly what we wanted and he sent us to get in line. We spoke to the next person at the front of the line and told them exactly what we wanted and they had us wait to get to a salesman. When we got to the front of the line we spoke to the young lady there and as soon as the salesman was available she assigned us to him. A very efficient system actually considering how busy Apple stores can be. The salesman we were assigned to was "Ron" and he did an excellent job and was very patient with us during the extremely long time we were there. Everything was going great and quickly until he went to add the phone to a line on my T-Mobile account. Their system showed my account blocked so I had to call T-Mobile to get it taken care of. Between the two of us we explained to the T-Mobile rep on the phone at least five different times exactly what it was doing and what we were trying to do and for whatever reason they just did not seem to understand. Finally we were settled on putting the SIM chip in that I had from T-Mobile for an active line and while we were setting up paying for the phone so we could put the chip in T-Mobile called me back to go over our issue one more time. According to the rep in the end they just had to do an update on my account to make it work but I don't know why that took almost an hour. Ron was able to process the sale and we installed the chip and went through the process of transferring information from one phone to another and running the update on the system and then we tried the phone and it worked great. Personally I'm not much of a fan of the prices at Apple but we have never had an issue with them that couldn't be taken care of. Employees are always friendly and there's always someone in the store that can answer the odd question you might have. We were extremely satisfied and the new kid in the house was using the phone is thrilled to have an upgrade from their old one that they had to return. If you like Apple products or if you want to try them I can definitely recommend it if you can afford it. We were well taken care of here and when we left we were satisfied with the experience with Apple. T-Mobile might be a little shaky for me but I can usually find someone to take care of any problem I have with them as well. read more

Took my 4K Apple TV to genius bar and was told my model (not USB connection but 'C') could not be accessed and I should 'just buy a new one'. I asked him to help me understand what he was saying - Apple made an unfixable product and offers no recourse or even a discount? He looked at me like I was an idiot and said 'it's 5 years old. Even if I offered a warranty replacement for $30 more you could have a new one. Just buy a new one'. Wow. Well. If I had an extra $130 laying around maybe that would be an option. I have been a loyal Apple customer for 20 years - MacBook Air, MacBook Pro(s), AirPods, several iPhones, iPod(s). I think Steve Jobs was more important than we thought. Had a reservation to get my phone fixed since the port was not working. Walked in early and waited for the tech to come out. After a little bit they came out and took a look at the phone. They did some cleaning and testing to make sure the issue was still happening. After a while another tech came and geve me my options to repair my phone. Since I have apple are they went ahead and replaced the phone with a new one. I was able.to transfer all the data with Icloud. Overall the staff was super nice and gave me no problems. They got me in and out in but 30 minutes. Recommend the store. read more

Their staff here are not very knowledgeable about their products and services and they are very dismissive. I went here 2 weeks ago to get my Apple Watch battery replaced since my battery health is at 78% and prior to this I was already advised back in LA to bring it to Apple Store once it hits the battery % under 79% and get a new replacement watch for $99. When I went here, I was told that it'll cost me ALMOST $300 to get my battery fixed and I might as well "Get a new one" since my watch is Out-Of-Warranty. I explained it to them that "No, my battery health is under 79% and for Out of Warranty service it should be $99 instead (I even showed her the page on their website that says it) and the staff was very dismissive and just told me "No that is if you're still covered with warranty." I was left with no other option and flew to the same store in LA that told me I can get the battery replaced for $99 and I got it done there just like what I was told previously. It's just sad that I have to fly all the way to the other side of the country to get the right service and pay the right price for it. read more

I have been shopping at this location for years. I am a huge fan of Apple products and like the customer service at this location. It's a super busy location being inside of The Mall at Millenia but it is also one of the largest that I have shopped in. I usually call ahead of time to make an appointment and can get same day service. I highly recommend that you purchase apple care on all of your phones and computers. It is a must because when one of your apple products goes down for a repair it is going to cost you big. There is no getting around the high cost of repair. The other recommendation is to check periodically for recall repairs. I've been a customer for many years with the same address and phone number since my very first purchase and have never been notified about a problem with a purchased item. Twice I had to find out the hard way. I recently stopped in to purchase a new laptop. My old MacBook Pro lasted long enough to impress. I loved it until I didn't. I walked in without an appointment just before Christmas and received lightening fast service. I was back in my car with my new purchase within 30 minutes. read more

Before we moved to Orlando, we were here visiting and my husband managed to break the case for his iPhone (again)! LOL So we headed to the store for a new one immediately before he ruined his phone. It was a Saturday and the place was jammed packed with customers and employees; however, we had an Apple employee at our side almost immediately. Even though it was just a case, he was very knowledgeable and took the time to understand how my husband uses his phone, carrys his phone, etc and was able to recommend the perfect case. I came to the store to figure out why my phone screen was detached by itself( in less than two years) without any physical damage. I was trying to explain to a man who works there (Lars) about this kind of experience that never seen on the nine iPhones owned by my family, and his answer was a little bit weird to me (everyone in this room has 9 iPhones), then he started comparing this issue with Toyota company if I got a car from them then something happened to the car (out of the warranty )even it was a manufacturing defect, you have to pay for this!! (weird example!) After this experience: I wouldn't visit this store anymore nor recommend anyone to do so! Now, I am really thinking of switching to another phone company that takes care of its customers more than what I got here, and I recommend my family to do so. read more

This a solid three star place. I like me some tech stuff, and this store is full of it. By full of it, I mean people, computers, mobile thingys, and tourists. This store is always bustling. I come here often for warrantied tech repairs and last minute tech purchases. The store's business team does it's best to help with last minute issues. In the past I have had the annual one-to-one membership (it's $99 with a Mac purchase) and that provided some great hands on training in Apple hardware. The instructors were very skilled and very nice to all the participants with varied knowledge levels. They made a point of listening and demonstrating their answers using the hardware products. They took all questions from attendees with out getting snarky. That's pretty cool. Like many locations, this store is loaded with people and sometimes the general employees can come across a bit nonchalant. They probably find the hordes of people with tech issues that are waiting to see a "Genius" at the Genius Bar completely overwhelming (like a scene from The Walking Dead). I'll say this...even with an appointment you're going to have to wait a while. Mostly it's about 15 minutes, but on a bad day it might be an hour. I like the diversity of staff at the Apple store, it looks like they represent their commitment to diversity through their staffing. Hopefully they hire a few more genius staff to keep the appointments flowing a bit better. read more

A fine experience at the Apple Store. Easy to make an appointment with a live person for the same day. Easy check in process. Waiting amongst the throngs wasn't an issue. The green t-shirts worn by the staff aren't appealing whatsoever though. I totally don't remember them from before. $800+ computer bought 3 weeks ago needed to be seen after water spill (my issues rising to the surface). Luckily the AppleCare covers it but still needed to pay another $300 for the fix and it'll take over a week. The green T-shirt wearing technician made the process as easy as possible though, which was appreciated. I wanted to buy the new iPhone X while there and thought I could do so using cash and enrolling in the upgrade program - nope. The way the program works is to string you into monthly 0% payments. Now, how the throngs don't question why 0% would be offered is beyond my comprehension. Nope, they are simply salivating over the new phone. What's really going on behind the scenes is your credit being double entried via off balance sheet book keeping and the bank is profiting and siphoning off you 1,000 fold like a battery akin to the Jupiter Ascending movie. I get the masses don't care though - they only want the new iPhone to be cool with their other battery buddies - not knowing they instead have the chance to rise up in their own power and say no more and allow wealth and success beyond imagination into their lives. Nope, it's way easier to pay the $49.91/month for 24 months at 0% interest. read more

How does one rate a business that is so undersized for the demand (at all locations, but obviously does a lot of people right? (or right enough?) I wasn't about to get in that line of at least 100 people dedicated to just those who want to make a purchase. I know what I want, so I was advised to purchase on line and pick up at the store. (no line for that department!) Okay that may just be my way to circumvent the crowds and still get what I want from Apple. My gosh I'm glad some of my mutual funds have had Apple in them. I have had problems with my iPhone X since I bought it. the phone keeps the screen active when it is in my pocket or against my face. when I am on the phone my cheeks press buttons that set off tones and sometimes causes a hang up. I owned it for 3 days and called for support made an appointment and showed up then was told I do not have an appointment. so I tried again a few weeks later. Same BS I tell them my name and nothing I tell them my concern and they tell me sorry no appointment in our logs! ok so now I am backing up my files from my mac and ditching this company. I was the guy that told others to get a Mac slice 1992, Now I want to melt mine down for scrap aluminum. its over, now they could care less about an idividual, now its about a metric value that I didn't qualify for. this company is like GM, they are your friend till an issue then they turn their back. do not allow Apple to renew any subscriptions they won't allow a provider to pro rate a refund when the provider would have. So Apple, I am now taking my flock to Sony computers and Samsung phones, letting your stock fall a few points. read more

Something was going on with the screen on my computer, and it kind scared me because I thought that it would cost more to fix than the actual computer was worth. I went to the store, which was about an hour from where I live, but it was well worth the trip. They diagnosed it for free, and the cost for a brand new screen was only $400. The best part is the turn around to fix was only about 5 days, whereas someone like the Geek Squad once had my computer for 30 days. It was also a cinch to pick up the product, and it looked nicer than when before I dropped it off. Let's hope I don't have these issues again, but if I do, I'm going here... read more
