Granted I came here about a week after Iphone 17 launched so my experience may differ from yours. I went to pick up my preorder and I saw that there were multiple lines but there wasn't any direction given at all on which line was for preorders and which line was for service. I thankfully was placed in the correct line but then it went downhill. Us in the preorder lines were standing around as all the service people were getting assistance on making appointments. No one came up to check up on us for about 20 minutes intill the guy in front of me spoke up and asked what was going on. It turns out there were some people in the preorder line that didn't preorder and needed assistance in finding the phone they want for their needs which held us up. Granted after I got to my service tech and he checked my trade in, I was able to sit somewhere as they started the transfer process. The whole experience took long over an hour and there was many upset people in line behind me saying that they needed to get back to work and chose this time because they thought this was a in and out appointment. While the store was staffed fully, they needed extra hands to jump in for the preorders. read more

Came to pick up a Magic Keyboard for my son's new iPad Air. I really like that the iPad Air works with the keyboard like the iPad Pro. Military discount is still only online orders and you'll have to get her shipped to house or in store pick up. I had an appointment scheduled for 3:20 PM to get my phone battery replaced, but things went downhill from there. When I arrived, I had to search out one of the 30 employees on the floor that wasn't busy to check in. After that, I was told to wait in the front area, which was already crowded with other people waiting for the same service. At that point, it was obvious that the appointment time didn't mean much here. At 3:45 PM, they finally took my phone and said it would be ready by 6:40 PM. That felt like a long wait for a simple battery replacement. When I came back at 6:40, my phone still wasn't ready. I didn't walk out with it until 7:20 PM, well after the mall had closed, after Macy's (where I parked) had closed, and after most of the staff had left. The communication from employees was frustrating. One told me my phone was marked as ready then disappeared into the back and never came back. Fifteen minutes later, another told me, in a defensive tone, that "it could take longer because they need to run diagnostics" even though I'd just been told (15 min prior) it was finished. I kept getting the runaround with no clear explanation and, most importantly, no apology for the delay. I saw so many bad reviews about this place and I thought they were such niche situations and maybe nothing bad would happen to be cause I just needed my battery replaced but I was very wrong. Listen to the bad reviews and prepare for the worst. The two stars I rated this location is because I walked out with my battery replaced and they didn't break my phone. If you have to come to this location, be prepared to wait all day, especially on weekends. Come on a weekday if you have to. My suggestion to Apple: if you can't handle that many repairs, don't take them. I would have rather delayed my repair or not gotten it at all than waste my entire Sunday at Memorial City Mall. Given my personal experience with needing repairs, I used to assume that having electronics fixed at Apple stores was silly. Compared to a third party repair store, Apple is more likely to incorrectly deem my device unrepairable and even when they can fix it, my quote is often more expensive. Let's not even get started on AppleCare, which is not worth the premium for most customers, with most devices, in most situations. My Macbook Air's caps lock key had become tough to press and would only detect a hit if I pushed hard. I was in the area with time to spare, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to pay a visit even though my free 1 year warranty had expired. To my surprise, they replaced the caps lock key for free. Well then. I stand corrected. Special thanks to John for the quick service. I was told that the process could take around 30 minutes, but I was in and out of the store in 15 on a semi-busy day. read more

I walked in and was told I had to make an appointment which was fine. I walked up to a group of 5 or more employees that were talking to each other in an extremely busy store on a Saturday and no one even acknowledged me. I asked if I can some questions and all but the black male even asked what I needed. The rest of them just walked away without even acknowledging me. I cracked my camera lenses while on vacation, so I had to go in to the Apple Store to get it fixed/replaced. Jonathan was very helpful and knowledgeable. I expected to wait a long time, but it wasn't too bad. My appointment was scheduled for 5:55 pm. Do not arrive more than 5 minutes early. They will not check you in if you get there too early (like I did). My phone was replaced for $99 with my Apple Care insurance. Jonathan at my new phone up and I was on my way home at 6:40 pm. The phone I got was the same model as my damaged one and yes, it was brand new. Apple will never give you a refurbished phone. The Apple Store employees work with multiple people at one time, so you have to be patient. Photos taken are a little cloudy due to the broken lenses. I gave up today. Last Recovery period set for 24 days. 2 Apple Care senior assistants unable to help. They actually wanted me to wait the full 24 days after which I am sure they would guide me into another Recovery period. The last tech finally told me they can't help with the password reset, only walk me through. So, why all the BS? Got a history on the "Find My" app which you have to enroll for Apple Care. Makes no difference if you have the broken phone in your hand. It's all about them being able to reuse the phone parts. Spoke to many friends about Apple Care during the last month. This is the large and very busy Apple located at Memorial City Mall, and we try to avoid this one because it's just a zoo. Barbie has Apple products AF, but wishes she didn't. Anything you want to get done here is going to be very expensive if it's not covered, and when you do finally get seen, you'll be surprised at how unhelpful some of the associates are, and how few things are actually covered. The company made billions for a reason, ew. Other employees sometimes can really be good, so it depends on the luck of the draw. Such a great company should have much better stores. read more

I was told after repair I was u able to receive the old (non-OEM part) I paid for to take back to the original screen installer who claimed the part was OEM. The supposedly "Manager" who I spoke with automatically had an attitude and I went off on her an another male Manager who actually ended up being very helpful. Regional Manager if you're reading this change your policy, it's Theft. Now I have little chance of challenging the business who ripped me off in the first place. I enjoy coming to this Apple Store. Similar to many other Apple stores, it is inside the mall. Appointments are highly recommended as the place gets busy and they really try hard to accommodate the appointment time. When you walk in, there are usually 1-3 people with iPads ready to check in the customer. However you don't need an appointment to still browse or tinker with the products being sold. All the laptops and iPads are out which can type, surf, and just get a feel for the device. The staff that I have met there are very friendly and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed despite how busy they always are. Great place read more

This store isn't as busy as the Galleria and River Oaks location so it's a great place to shop and resolve technology challenges. From my experiences at this location, the Genuises, are quick in honing in on what you're looking to buy and also very professional and patient when listening to the myriad of technology challenges customers are facing. I brought my phone to apple in willowbrook and they did not have the battery so they sent me to manorial city to do the repair. They quoted me 89.00 plus tax and said come back in a hour. Came back and they said my screen and battery needed to be replaced 469plus tax.the phone is even more damaged then when I brought it in there is a noticeable spider crack that was never there. I spoke to the manager Kip obey and he first tried to blame willbrook for the false quote till I told him his store gave it and I signed at his store and agreed to the repair. Upon entrance of the store no one came up to me and I waited over 45 minutes instead I had to reach out to them to get some service. Located in Memorial Mall. They revamped this Apple Store from the last time I was here. It's more modern and spacious. I prefer the new interiors over the old ones. Avoid the weekends because finding parking is a pain. The Apple Store itself were crowded too. They do have many employees on the clock, wearing a dark navy shirt. For many years now, we have bought all of our Apple products here. Customer services are usually fast and smooth. I never had any problems here. The employees I have come across were relatively informative and helpful. I needed assistance on a problem with my Mac Pro and made an appointment with the Genius Bar. Make sure you back up your Mac beforehand. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix the screen problem with my Mac. Wish we could have negative stars. I have been three times in two days. The employees I have dealt with could care less if you have an issue. They are only interested in selling new products. If it's a technical issue they seem to be clueless! First tech couldn't get past unlocking my two day old phone, went to get manager. Manager was a complete waste of time. Actually wouldn't even try just smart ass answers only. If I hadn't spent 2 days to get a new phone $1500 working I would leave Apple and switch. They even had me leave store to drive to ATnT to reconnect accounts lost by apple, then return to apple with same issue.
