The problem is Fergusons has grown too big and forces customers to work through their website: Build.com. That website needs work. 1) It's fickle-- sometimes it recognized my email address, sometimes it didn't. 2) ordered pulls took three weeks to arrive; some never arrived at all. 3) returning is a rip-off: each knob comes with its own return fee: a $10 knob costs $7.95 to return. And they won't let you send them all back in the same box; each order is a $7.95 return fee. My salesperson never informed me of this. Reaching your salesperson by phone is a chore, as the phone answering company for the Cherry Hill Store is located in Lansdown, PA. Calls are rerouted-- your phone doesn't recognize the incoming call, etc. It was a time-consuming mess. Also, I tried to buy a $1,500 lighted medicine cabinet; it was more complicated than surgery. Questions had to go through the salesperson who contacts the rep, and then has to get back to me. Now factor in web issues and off-site call centers. And when you do finally connect, no solutions or alternative products are offered, and you've wasted a month. Finally, Ferguson's sends a "how did we do?" survey, but when I went to provide feedback, I got a window saying that my time to do so had expired. Absolutely infuriating. I've found another source for my 6-figure renovation--a streamlined, "family run" place that actually knows what customer service is.

DMR is a family run business and have been around for over 20 years. Their expertise is evident. We couldn't be more happy with our new kitchen or with the work that was done! The demolition team took extra care in dismantling the cabinets and counter tops, so that all the cabinets and most of the counter tops were able to be used by someone fitting out an apartment. Moved into a new home that needed lots of TLC. Hired this contractor, JOSHUA N LALLO LLC, through a…read morerecommendation. The beginning projects were completed and satisfactory. He was always paid on time and his exact quote. My daughter & I gave him so much such as kitchen appliances & all types of beautiful living room, dining room & bedroom furniture. We didn't charge him a dime nor did he give us a discount. In the beginning Mr. Lallo was present and worked on the projects. After sometime he was working onsite and left the projects to his workers. Well this is when the nightmare started. Jobs were unsatisfactory, a water valve was left open in my kitchen which flooded my new hardwood kitchen floors and new cabinet. A memorial statue in honor of my late veteran husband was broke and covered up. Finally, the remodeling of a bathroom was horrible and I spoke with Mr. Lallo. He stated (in front of 3 witnesses) he would come the next day (6/3/2023) to redo and correct the bathroom. Well he never returned, no call, didn't answer text or emails. His cost for this job was $11,700, not including supplies. He was paid over $7,000 & the balance would be paid at the end. Unfortunately, he didn't want to take responsibility or pay for the errors his workers caused. He lied, has posted false jobs on his Facebook page and Joshua Lallo LLC took the cowardly approach and disappeared. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUDULENT CONTRACTOR.
