Her knowledge about materials, color combinations, room size and what will fit is incredible. Most of the things that I put on my "if we have space" list she was able to accommodate for us. She was able to accommodate a coffee bar(I didn't even dream of that)! She walked us through the showroom and pulled things that she thought we would be interested in and she was spot on with her choices. She helped us decide what cabinets, knobs, handles and colors would work best for our dream kitchen. When I say we have our dream kitchen we really got our dream kitchen and more because Emily was able to configure the space to allow our hearts desire. Rocky is her fur baby and he is such a gentle giant. Really this big boy is a natural service dog, his ability to soothe people is amazing. Love you Rocky! Excellent, excellent, excellent service! From the moment we walked into their showroom, Olivia was nothing but helpful with a friendly attitude and a smile on her face. If we had a question, she had the answer, and if she didn't, she found out quickly. Furthermore, Olivia at EG&Q maintained communication, whereas no other business had! We had visited a lot of different locations for cabinets and granite, and in all of those places, including the Big Box stores (Home Depot and Lowes), nobody seemed interested in doing their jobs, or being bothered with us as customers. That's why we knew, immediately, we would be purchasing from Element, Granite, and Quartz without question before we even left their store, or discussed it with each other. We've been married long enough to know what the other's thinking, and we'd been through the ringer on our kitchen remodel together, so we just knew. I can kind of understand (if not condone) why contractors at the Big Box's are unenthusiastic, but small businesses? Shouldn't they care about their company?When they weren't ignoring us, they were either not listening to me/us (to the point where it was annoyingly startling; how many times can I say, "No, not greenish, brown..." without losing my patience, as I'm shown sample after sample of greenish, wooden samples?), or they were pretending not to understand what they could do for us when we gave specs, or up-selling as if we didn't know any better. What started out as just replacing our oven, turned into a kitchen renovation. When it came to counter tops, we were out of our depth. We tried the big box stores and a couple of other places before giving Element a try. Yulia was super helpful, informative and we felt 0 pressure. When we made our choice, we were able to put a deposit on our slab. Our time frame got delayed by about a month but Yulia was not on our backs about moving forward, which I appreciated. The template process was easy and the installation crew were great. Price wise, they are right in line with other places but I appreciated that we knew who we were dealing with at all times. Customer service was 5 stars all the way from our first meeting to ordering, templating and installation. Scott (templating and installation) was a delight to work with and he kept us up to date on his schedule. We had a great experience working with Element on the granite for our kitchen. They had a larger selection and better prices than other businesses in the area and were very easy to work with. We also appreciated how quick Element was in getting the project done. The whole process took a total of 10 days from picking out the granite to installation. After the installation, we noticed a small mistake in the placement of the granite. After calling to let them know, they were back within 20 minutes and the problem was fixed. The product was good but the service was poor. I was hoping to get some good designer ideas from the designer at the shop but she was not well versed in kitchen design. The installers caused some damage in my home that required repair. We had paid in full. The cost to repair was not that much; approximately $300. The manager, Emily, did not want to help us and told us to call the owner, Vinny. After 4 calls and messages to Vinny, he did not return our calls or provide any resolution. I moved into a home where the kitchen had been redone, but used as a construction bench. The marble had been scratched and pitted. I did not believe that they could be salvaged. However, Vinny came and patiently worked on it, cleaning the marble and sealing it. The counters now look amazing, almost as good as new. I am obsessed with my new quartz countertops. Everything from the customer service to the installation process was easy. I originally wanted a specific type of quartz and they showed me a sample that was $500 cheaper! What company does that? I wanted the look of concrete with the durability of quartz and that's exactly what I got. My husband was home and actually interacted with the men who did the installation and template etc... I am a contracter who purchased granite for 2 whole kitchens twice. I was very impressed with their prices. However , when I walked in just to buy a small piece of granite to do a coffee bar , the lady who helped me tried charging me the same price as if I was buying granite for a 12x12 kitchen!! BUYER BEWARE.... I had approached Element Granite & Quartz about an estimate for a kitchen project as well as other fabricators. We decided to go with another fabricator with whom we had already had a contract with and informed Element of our decision when they called to follow up. Two days later I received an email from Element stating that they had our 2 slabs at the their facility and that I could talk to the manager about pricing. I immediately called Elements as we did not authorize them to take our slabs from Stone Boutique in Delran, NJ. We never signed a contract with Element nor did we leave a deposit. We simply asked for a quote. Element informed us that they bought our 2 slabs as well since they were purchasing a bulk lot of the granite and could get better pricing (at our expense). Meanwhile I called Stone Boutique and they blamed Element stating they did not know. I asked Element to sell the slabs to my fabricator and they would not. Unless you are 100% sure you are using Element, BUYER BEWARE. They will take information they have and use it against you. read more
