    Sweet Deal...iPad Pro + Free Dre Beats!! #Wireless #FTW!
    DON C.

You would think an Apple Store is an Apple Store! Right!?....I mean same products, same inventory, same selection.....And, never no damn sales!! What's up with that!? Well set aside....the cool location, building with great architecture, over-sized mall location, or historical landmark that the Apple store may occupy....they are generally all the same. BUTTTTTT, what sets this store apart from all the others is the customer experience, service, and knowledgeable technical staff. On top of that, this location is the only one in DC that still has Genius Bar.....All Apple geeks out there....do you remember the Genius Bar!? I have busted my Apple virginity and brought my very first iPhone (3G) here over eight years ago. And, ever since, from this exact same store....I have added an additional iPhone upgrade purchases, MacBook Pro, iPad, Apple Watch, service repairs, headphones and every accessory you can name to the list. Yes...I can admit....I have dranked the Apple "Kool-aid" and am in the entire Apple ecosystem at this point. No turning back now....LOL! BUTTTTTT, each time and with each purchase, the service and experience at this location has been consistently great. This visit was no different, I came in for a iPhone 7 cracked-screen repair. I was able to get serviced, without making an appointment as most location make you do. I walked in, was greeted, explained my problem.....and in less than an hour I was in & out with a brand new functional iPhone --that was no longer cutting my fingers with each swipe or giving me glass splinters! During the wait, I browsed around and tried to resist....but in the process I even upgraded my old iPad to the iPad Pro. As part of the purchase, I even received a free pair of wireless Dre Beats! Doesn't get any better than that!! Again, all of this occurred within the hour...and I walked out, happy of course! Spending your hard earn money....you expect at least good service and an acceptable customer experience. At this location you receive that for sure!

While staying in Georgetown for 2.5 weeks, we needed some items from the Apple store. We showed up without an appointment, and had to wait in the line outside of the store. Because I was wearing a neck gaiter, they gave me a disposable mask to wear inside. After only a five minute wait, we were escorted into the store where an Apple associate helped us with our shopping list (EarPods, iPad Smart cover, new iPhone leather case, etc. We were out of there in ten minutes. The store had excellent protocols which were enforced with a smile. Our retail experience was actually quite a pleasure, as Apple stores can be quite chaotic. Apple Georgetown is A-OK!

Genius bar people are great and took care of a work iPhone issue my own IT folks could not. That said the wait was super long. Almost 50 mins.

Not too bad for a Tuesday after work. It's usually really, really crowded in here.

The "geniuses" are generally friendly but useless. Prepare to be ripped off, and don't expect any actual help with your device.

Called in advance to ask about how I needed to prepare my computer for servicing and took appropriate steps. Typed up and printed out my contact information should the technician need to ask any questions along the way along with explicit services I needed done: (1) annoying malware removal (2) hard drive memory reallocation. Neither was done. To be clear, the malware was pretty minor - limited to Chrome web browser - I just didn't have the time to hunt down the source myself. Also, the company lists "PC & Mac Virus Removal-Data Recovery-Repair Service" AS PART OF THEIR TAGLINE (google: "computerplus georgetown dc") but couldn't remove even a minor browser malware. The sad part was when I came to pick up my laptop, the person at the register just took my money without blinking an eye and no attempt was made to rectify or refund the $200 I donated to their business. At least a "sorry, we couldn't fix your machine" and I would've respected their integrity - but I have little evidence of that from my own personal experience. My advice, is that if they quote you anything above $125 dollars and there is nothing critical on your machine you need to retrieve, you should seriously consider just buying an old refurbished or desktop computer for $200-300 instead and starting fresh. That is ultimately the path I took. Computers these days are pretty cheap as long as you're open-minded to the brand, device, and model.

Both times they told me the price before working on it and it was completely fair for the services rendered. I say that as someone with some experience in repair rates - the price is reflective of a repair technician with over twenty years' experience, and not an over-charge. Best Buy is going to give you the customer service a national chain provides - none. Other smaller shops handle primarily tablets and phones, sometimes laptops. This shop is going to fix your computer, laptop or Apple product to the highest standard.

Customers Beware: Unsafe Behavior and Unresolved Damage…read more This has been the most disturbing and unprofessional experience I have ever had with any service provider. My daughter hired On the Go PC Repairs to fix a cracked screen on her $2,000+ computer. What should have been a routine repair turned into months of silence, additional damage, and ultimately an assault inside my own office building. After the initial repair, my daughter discovered that the camera -- which had been working perfectly -- was now broken. The company first quoted around $500 to fix the issue, then later agreed to $200. She has initially paid about $400 to fix the cracked screen, and we later discovered that the camera ( which is attached to the new screen replacement was defective. In both cases, fees were fully paid because service. On the 2nd repair, they kept the computer for over five months, ignoring repeated calls and emails. On the day of delivery for the 2nd repair, we were informed that the USB port was now broken, even though it had been fully functional before we handed the computer over. Again, the owner vehemently denied any wrong doing, and stated that these things happen" , but that he can repair for $300. Of course, I informed the owner that we were not interested in doing any more business and questioned how is it that this port is not damaged. I also want to mentioned that this is a high-end Apple computer and recently purchased a couple years ago. When I met with him to received that the computer after paid services. When I refused to sign a document stating that I was satisfied with the service -- especially given the new damage and the months of unresponsiveness -- the owner became physically aggressive. He grabbed me and restrained me from walking away because I would not sign a paper saying I agreed with the service, despite the fact that we had already paid in full. This happened inside an office building lobby and in full view. Police were called, and assault charges have been filed. Building management documented the incident as well. I ultimately needed a police escort because I no longer felt safe in my own workplace. When the police questioned his justification for his action, he admitted that he gets customers all the time who are unhappy with his service and they reverse credit card charges. This company's conduct was unprofessional, damaging, and ultimately dangerous. I strongly urge anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. I wish that my daughter had done her research to read the previous online reviews. Another note : This company does not have a physical location at the office on the website. They use this address to deceive people into thinking that this is their established store front, The owner only uses this address for customers to drop-off PCs and pick-up their PCs. They fill in their form for service at the front desk, but will never speak with a real consultant in person. He does not have an office there, it is just an address and the receptionist working a the desk does not work for him. No customer should ever be physically assaulted over a repair -- especially one that was already paid for. Lastly: I wish that I could give a negative zero stars
