I spent some time looking at the TVs and noticed that the agents and people on the floor were very busy, running around to help other customers, so I took my time to look around. I was not convinced by any TV, and as someone who plays video games for long hours, I wanted to ensure my TV was amazing and suitable for that purpose. Here is where George saved the day. I approached him at the counter and told him what had happened. He was very kind and explained the specifications that a gaming TV should have before starting to look around. He took the time (doing it as effectively as possible because they were busy) to find the perfect TV for me, and he definitely did. He got me a great TV that works perfectly for me, and I love every minute of it. He was also able to secure a discount on my fantastic OLED SONY TV. I recommend visiting the store and having them help you; keep in mind that they are busy, and you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is definitely worth it. It took me about 45 minutes to be at the store, considering I was perusing for about 30 minutes. Hopefully, this review helps you choose them for your next electronic device.

I literally went to the back of the store towards because it felt like the right area to go. No luck with that train of thought because there was nothing in this area. Surprisingly the area I needed to look in was exactly right inside the entrance to this store. After finally figuring this out, I stood in front of the items and tried to figure out which item would fit the model of iPad I had. It didn't help that they had the items in bulky theft deterring cases. I know why they had to put them in these, but it made it hard to figure out if each one of them would fit my iPad. It was quite the ordeal to pick up each one, attempt to read the backs of each and then switch up. It didn't help that I had a bag with me with items in it and I didn't want to put it down. What made matters worse here was the noise level. It was so loud that it was hard to concentrate. It was like I was in a frat house during a party. The music was so loud in here that you could hardly hear a thing. In fact, when I was asked if I needed help, I declined instead of having to yell my answers/questions to the store employee. When you thought the music was finally being turned down, the volume shot back up. I had enough of this and decided to leave. I ended up picking up my item elsewhere. A place that I wasn't in the middle of the rave.

Yes, I could do it myself but it would take me days to work through all the settings and tweak and tweak until everything functioned smoothly. The owner, Phillip, quoted me a price and told me that someone would come to my home to make sure that all my components worked together. Zarif came promptly to my home. Laptop, adjacent screen, TV, backup disc, internet, security settings were all up and running quickly. Thank you!

Called in advance to ask about how I needed to prepare my computer for servicing and took appropriate steps. Typed up and printed out my contact information should the technician need to ask any questions along the way along with explicit services I needed done: (1) annoying malware removal (2) hard drive memory reallocation. Neither was done. To be clear, the malware was pretty minor - limited to Chrome web browser - I just didn't have the time to hunt down the source myself. Also, the company lists "PC & Mac Virus Removal-Data Recovery-Repair Service" AS PART OF THEIR TAGLINE (google: "computerplus georgetown dc") but couldn't remove even a minor browser malware. The sad part was when I came to pick up my laptop, the person at the register just took my money without blinking an eye and no attempt was made to rectify or refund the $200 I donated to their business. At least a "sorry, we couldn't fix your machine" and I would've respected their integrity - but I have little evidence of that from my own personal experience. My advice, is that if they quote you anything above $125 dollars and there is nothing critical on your machine you need to retrieve, you should seriously consider just buying an old refurbished or desktop computer for $200-300 instead and starting fresh. That is ultimately the path I took. Computers these days are pretty cheap as long as you're open-minded to the brand, device, and model.

It's certainly an interesting location. The Carnegie library, one of this business magnate's…read morenumerous lasting philanthropic efforts, had never been open in my lifetime, but somehow finds itself the home of a business that is even more robber baron-y. The store shares space with some exhibitions about DC history. It's a confusing place; there are multiple entrances but you only reliably get greeted at one of them. I came for a major repair. They took every opportunity to congratulate me for getting Apple Care, which to be fair does seem to have been a sage decision. They underpromised and overdelivered, telling me that my (very important) computer would be out of commission for a week but actually getting it humpty-dumptied into shape in a couple of days and calling me on a weekend to pick it up, which was a big boost for me. Service in the store wasn't the quickest, but overall the experience was a success for me.

Such a unique space with a full museum and galleries of DC history upstairs and downstairs. If you need genius bar service, the friendly team members do everything to accommodate walk ins but appointments are highly recommended. If you don't have Apple care as an insurance "plan" for your Apple devices, I'd highly suggest it, as paying for parts and services add up quickly and can be a little pricey. Overall, I enjoy visits here. They also have a calendar of events, talks, demonstrations and other engaging activities periodically b

Buddy, thanks for making me look like such a valued member of my business. If I didn't have to troubleshoot or setup my coworkers' workstations almost every time we got a new one because you actually did your job right the first time around, I'd be a lot more compartmentalized here. Hmm, four out of my last five reviews hovering at 2 stars? Pretty soon I'll be accused of PMSing.

But when I got it home, the photos wouldn't down load, and the printer scanner couldn't be found. Brought it back and asked to have it expedited due to my situation with my mom and that they are the ones responsible. When they said no. I said I want a manager. I was told that I was going to be thrown out of the store. I was told I was going to get banned from every store. He pointed to a police office and said he would have me removed. The police officer was not interested. And the manager Sieed says "I don't care if your mom died, my dad died two weeks ago".... They gave me a number to call. Still nothing is fixed. Germantown Best Buy and geek squad has a reason for in store protection. What would a man have done? "I don't care that your mom has died" has stuck with me.
