This Apple storefront photo looks like a surreal scene from a futurist movie.

OMG why is everyone hate this Apple Store at First Colony Mall. I came here to compare Apple Watches because my Fitbit is about to go kaput. I am looking for something with recent technology. Getting here was very tricky because of the First Colony Mall's layout and there was no mall directory at the entrances. I had to use Google Maps to give me direction. Finally, I found a directory kiosk in front of Dillard's, where was the opposite of where I came from. Yikes. The employee was very knowledgeable and made me want to purchase right there. But I was here to get a feel first. I like what I saw and I am going to buy a used one online. But I will be back to buy the accessories.

Who does it better ? The Chick-A-Fila of Technology should I go down the list? Ok, I want although I will go down the list of things I appreciated in this visit. I wanted to trade in a MacBook that honestly did not get more than 1 to 2% use, so this was an upgrade to an IMac. Greeted upon entering and approaching the table of selection. I was told it would be a few minutes as it was very busy the wait was very short. I expressed what I wanted to do, then the Rep, went to work, explaining in detail, breaking down and explaining various options and the bonus was being familiar with the programs that would be used. After this the big decision was to be made, he also even the explained importance of particular up grades at the time of purchase. I appreciate the time and patience to work with me as a one one customer, it just doesn't get any better. Cant wait to unbox it that is the most exciting part. So, until the next time, Bye-Bye!

To keep the doctor away

An Apple store a day keeps the doctor away from Sugar Land. I'm not a fan of Apple Stores and could never give them more than a 3 at the absolute maximum because they are just so expensive even for little repairs. Barbie is all the way Android now even though that's getting to be about the same price to fix. But when we went in here to fix her old phone they were friendly and helpful and more painless than expected and have experienced in the past from many other Apple stores. For this reason I give them three but if they were actually affordable and fair in their pricing they might even get more.

I called and they said I could come in immediately, they took my phone and fixed it in under an hour! Wow! I was expecting to have to wait a few days or so, but it was so quick and efficient. My screen looks and feels amazing now, I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs their phone repaired at an affordable cost and does not want to wait too long to have their phone back. Also, they were following social distancing rules and everyone was wearing masks which made me feel clean and safe!

They took my phone, did their "work," & when they handed it back, they casually mentioned, "Oh, we can't fix the thumbprint, but we can order it for you." How is that solving my problem? They went from quoting me $140 to $120. Great. However, just minutes after leaving, my home button stopped pressing smoothly, it got stuck & I had to press hard to get it to respond. Went back to show them, & of course, they did nothing. So now, I'm left with a broken button/thumbprint sensor & a $120 hole in my wallet. ___________________________ One-Week Update: The home button detached like it was trying to flee the scene. Now it's just a sad, useless piece of plastic. ___________________________ Three-Month Update: My phone has become a drama queen, losing battery faster than I can charge it & restarting every few minutes like it's auditioning for a reboot. Took it somewhere else to get fixed, & guess what? They informed me my side plates were missing. So yeah, this place decided my phone was a buffet & took parts without asking. How can we even know what they're doing when they take the phone to the back? Watch your back & your phone, because they might be "rearranging" things without you knowing. Good luck, but if you enjoy fixing someone else's mess after you pay them, this place might just be your cup of tea.
