Terrible place! Save your money. I got my screen fixed and their product is after market. My phone is now lagging, unresponsive, and battery drains quickly all because they don't use Apple certified screens. I would have rather just paid Apple the extra money for a proper functioning screen. They should inform customers that they give after market screens and not genuine Apple screens. I used to really like this place and came here often for gadget repairs, because they are more convenient than dealing with the Apple Store, but they've gone downhill in the last six months in making claims that they can fix stuff and then deciding they can't. This has happened three times now. The last straw was that I took my iPad in for a new headphone jack on a Monday and prepaid for the part that had to be ordered because "that way we'll remember to order it." They told me the part would be in the next Monday and they'd call me. Monday comes, no call. You can guess what happened. I come in on Tuesday and am told they didn't order the part. WTF?!?! Husband needed his Google Pixel 4 screen fixed after our kid decided that it would make a good baseball. He called around to a couple places to see where he could get his phone fixed the fastest, and found out that all the shops would have to custom order the replacement part since they didn't usually carry it in stock. This shop quoted they'd most likely get the part by the next day and would be able to get the repair done within an hour-ish once they got the part, whereas the other shop said they'd need 3-5 business days to get the part. He also got a better price here ($230 total). As promised, my husband was able to drop off the phone the next day around 4pm and it was completed in about an hour. Even though they closed at 5, they stayed open a little after just to make sure they would be able to get the repair done so that he could get his phone back. The screen now looks brand new, and you can't even tell it had to be repaired. They did a great job! Highly recommend! Just one FYI for finding the shop, it's located in the back area of the plaza (so the opposite side of the building from Homegoods/Ross), so finding it can be a little tricky, but it's pretty obvious where the store is once you're on the right side of the building. read more

I cannot praise this business at this location enough! My laptop fell off my desk and as it fell the part where I have to plug in the power cord cracked and broke. So the laptop would not charge up nor run off of direct current. I took it to Best Buy and they wanted $49.99 up front to have it mailed off and diagnosed. Then see if it can be fixed. That process would take 2-3 weeks and then if repair was needed then however long that would take. I found Dr. Cell Phone through Google search and took it in. A very knowledgeable, customer service friendly, person helped me. I didn't have to pay anything up front. He told me that within 24 hours they would call me with the repair estimate and told me then that the part(s) would have to be ordered and that would take about a week. True to form, he called the next day, and they could order the part and total for part and labor was only $89.00. SOLD!! They repaired it. Called me when it was ready. I was out of town and didn't get to go by that couple of days and they called again. It was important to them that I know my product was ready. If I chose one thing I wish were different, it would be more customer service personnel up front. This place was a little busy and they give each customer the time needed for their specific needs. But, I expect this business to totally succeed and get very very busy. So more help will hopefully be added! In this day and time when sooo much is changing quickly with our electronics, I appreciate a reasonably priced service that helps me maintain and keep my existing gadgets as long as I can. After 11 separate visits to Dr. Cellphone and 3 repair attempts (over a 3 month period) my phone is still not fixed. They've replaced the screen several times, but it doesn't fit properly and keeps coming unglued on the edges. In addition, they've broken something each time they've repaired the screen. My phone no longer vibrates, the touchscreen only works on occasion, and the camera/video camera only work if I press my phone together in a certain spot. They never should have accepted a repair on my phone as they clearly lack the skills/parts to complete the repair. While the staff inside the store has been very polite and has tried to be helpful - the owner "Mr. Rafiq" hasn't even bothered to respond to me. So disappointed. After paying him is $200 to get my phone repaired after dropping in on the ground, I was convinced to buy some "Magic Glass." I was told that this would definitely help if I were to drop my phone again because the magic glass would break before my actual found it. Here we are, a week later. This is a nightmare for me! I went here to replace my IPhone battery. First time after replacing battery, my iPhone front camera and speaker didn't work, I went back there to ask them fixed it. They knew they messed up, so they ordered the part and fix it. But my iPhone battery health didn't show up after replacing battery! My phone has never been opened and doesn't have any problems before! I went there several times to asking them why my battery health doesn't show up( like how many percentage). I knew that case happen for two reasons: 1st incorrectly install battery. 2nd battery is not an official battery. The iPhone battery they have is all in 2018! And most of them doesn't work well! I clearly remember one guy who works in this shop and treat me disrespectful! I went there to check why my battery health doesn't show up, and he was mad! He told another guy one sentence: "just give her that one". I don't understand what's meaning! My battery is under warranty (90 days warranty), but they told me that I have been using this new battery for a month so they were not willing to change and fix for me! If you don't want your cellphone getting bad after fixing, I do not recommend you to come to this shop. The battery is not good, and service is not good! I am so sad about this! One of the phone screens cracked in less than a week, and the second phone was cracked within a week and a half. The are using INFERIOR PRODUCTS.
