Jerry is very knowledgable and talked us through the whole process from start to finish. Being new homeowners, we really appreciated him taking the time to work with us and answer all our questions, so we were comfortable. He gave us a couple different options for types of stains and also presented a few fixes for some slight gapping between the baseboards and the floor since the previous owner had carpet. I never felt like Jerry was trying to up sell us or recommend work that would get him more money. He just presented us with the options and costs and let us make the decision. We received a specific quote to refinish the floors and do a few repairs on some of the boards. Even though they ended up having to replace more boards than he initially thought, he stayed within his quote. We also had a very specific schedule, and he accommodated gladly. To sum it all up, the work was done as well or better than expected, completed on schedule, and delivered at the exact price originally quoted. Additionally, Jerry was very patient and never tried to pressure us into spending more on work we didn't really need. I don't think you can ask for anything more.

We had a serious mold issue which was caused by water intrusion from the outside of the building, through cracks in the stucco. Viorel and David did a great job fixing my place. They were patient with me during a difficult time, while also being very mindful of my living space and our two cats. The second job he did was having to replace our entire bathroom due to water damage from inside the building. They gave my bathroom a complete makeover!! We went from a tiny stall shower with old floors/fixtures/toilet, to a tub/shower combo, a new vanity sink, new flooring, toilet, the works! I couldn't be happier. We live in a 10 unit building with a landlord who prefers to do subpar/patch work to save a dime, but Viorel refused to do that. He will only do a job the "right way" and fix what needs to be done. We've had other contractors here who would cover up the issue instead of investigating it more to find the problem, but this has never happened with Neagu Construction.
