These technicians are artists and they are great at what they do! The Dip Manicure is wonderful. It does take some time, but well worth it! They will offer you a beverage, the massage is excellent! Go for deluxe Pedicure'. Look forward to my next visit! read more

This nail salon is amazing. From the moment I arrived with my wife I was shown exceptional customer service from the start. Lily working the front was very professional and kind and the nail technician that worked on my wife's nail and feet did an amazing job. I highly recommend this shop and definitely will be back again. read more

10/10 recommend if you're in Boone! I've been to a couple of salons around here and they were not nearly as good as this location. I was seated right on time for my appt and Lisa did such a great job. Everyone was really nice. My toes look amazing, the scrub and massage were so relaxing. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Appalachian Nails & Co - Deluxe pedicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Boone, North Carolina

I went in for pedicure and to have my fingernail gels restored to natural nails. The male tech used only a drummel on the toenails and fingernails which badly damaged my nailbeds. My fingernails hurt for 2 weeks.it will takes months for them to recover. I've had to cut them down to the quick. I've had this done countless times in my life time. This was the roughest service I ever received. This was my first and last visit. Soarly! DISAPPOINTED! read more

save yourself the trouble and go literally anywhere else. i had an awful, awful experience. all i wanted was a plain black almond shaped nail set, however the man doing my nails had no idea what he was doing, and just the plain black nails took TWO AND A HALF HOURS. this man made me bleed three separate times while trying to cut off my cuticles. the nails were sloppy, with dents, imprints, and every nail was a different shape. they snapped off with almost no pressure not even a week after i had them done. i removed the nails to find my real nails stripped of the top layer and extremely brittle. FOUR, count em, FOUR of my real nails were so brittle, when i was doing dishes or brushing my hair, my nail would break halfway through the middle and get pulled from my skin. you can see my index fingernail has been ripped off and there is an actual dent in my thumbnail. how the hell do you even dent a nail like that????!!!?!?! never had a worse experience. i downloaded yelp just to post this. my nails and fingertips have been raw and hurting since i got these nails done a month ago. absolutely ridiculous. no wonder they had nobody in their store when i was there. read more

The salon was clean and well-maintained and the staff was friendly. I had a good salon experience but the end result of my nails was less than stellar. If you're spending $90 on a gel mani-pedi, it should not come out this sloppy. They did a great job waxing my husband's eyebrows, though. read more

I stopped in one Friday and got a great pedicure by Timothy. I was scheduled to return on Monday for a manicure by him. The pedicure was so good I was excited about the manicure. He contacted me early on Monday and said he couldn't make it and would I reschedule for Wednesday. If not, he offered for Lisa to do it. I opted to wait for Timothy. On Wednesday I arrived at my scheduled time but Timothy didn't show so I let Lisa do my dip manicure. I have been so disappointed. No cuticles were pushed back and the number of dips was less than anyone has ever done to my nails prior, either here or in Florida. My color started chipping within 2 days. I am so disappointed. read more

I'm seldom blown away when I get my nails done. I don't ever complain while in the salon but typically pick them apart when I get home. This time, I got home from my mani and I have zero negative things to say. I absolutely love my nails and this is the 2nd time Lisa has totally killed it. I'm never going anywhere else. read more

I had an okay experience, but will probably go somewhere else going forward. I made an appointment for a dip manicure, and did not need to add tips. The girl who did my nails was very sweet, but she wasn't quite able to get the marble design I desired, claiming my nails were too short (I don't think they were in my opinion), but she made a couple doable suggestions and I was able to pick one I could settle with. The manicurist was also sweet enough to not charge me extra for the corrections on the nails I wanted the marble print on. Also, my appointment was on August 1st, and by August 9th, 3 off them had already popped off without any effort, force or tear. Anytime I have gotten these in the past at other salons, they have lasted almost a month each time. I was really disappointed that I spent $65 (tip included) for one week of nails - I could have done them myself at home for cheaper if they were only going to last that long. read more

First visit today for mani/pedi and service was great! Very pleasant and very clean environment. Looking forward to going back!

BEST IN BOONE...HANDS DOWN! Lisa was amazing. Staff are fun and the quality of work is on point.

Staff was friendly and salon was clean. I thought my nails looked really good until I got outside and could really see. Bumpy and very uneven. Not at all satisfied with the service I received. read more

Walked in not knowing they didn't do walk ins so I had to make an appointment for the next day. I told her i needed an appointment for full set gel, not knowing they only have one girl that does acrylic. I was told I couldn't be seen for an hour and a half later. So make sure when you make an appointment you specify what you are getting done because they assume you are automatically getting sns. read more

The atmosphere was great and I loved talking to the staff! However my nails popped off 2 days later and there was some bumps on my polish coat that i had seen after i left. I do recommend this place as they are super nice but i don't think i'd go back personally read more

Do not!!! go to Appalachian nails & co. We walked in with appointments at 6pm and waited 30 minutes to get our nails done. I sat down and got my nails painted by Timothy as he finished up my nails he said "I'm not going to do a third coat, that's just something you are going to have to deal with" he then asked me if there was anything else I would like done I said "if you have time could you do a pedicure, if not it's totally fine" then once I got up he sat another girl down and said "sorry people who make appointments for one thing ask for another" the comment was apparently not directed at me but I knew it was. We got up without even finishing the our appointment because of how rude he was. read more

If I could give 1 star, I would. I came in on July 3 for a 4 pm appointment with my mom. They took her back to the pedicure stations first and brought me back within 5 minutes. They had already started on her & left me sitting for 55 minutes while no one responded to my questions about when I would be helped, the water at my station was scorching hot, no one offered me a glass of water or acknowledged me and they continued to do my moms nails. AFTER they completed hers, they tried to let me let them do my nails and I told them no, I had waited long enough and they tried to argue with me over it. I do NOT recommend. They completely ignored my appointment and my presence, while I was trying to support their business, and then proceeded to be rude to me when I did not want to waste anymore time there. read more

I am able to brig my mother who has dementia in for pedicures, and if you have ever been a dementia care giver you will know what that means. Extra time, early appointments and plenty of patience.
