Second time I have been here. It's the only sit down breakfast place near Quest diagnostics.... Stop here if you like mediocre food. We asked for cheese on my sons scrambled eggs, they literally slapped a nasty kraft processed single on my kids eggs and it wasn't even melted! The coffee is watered down with hardly any resemblance of real coffee. There is barely any sausage in the sausage gravy and biscuits. Had a male waiter and he wasn't very friendly at all. My kid is complaining of his stomach hurting since eating here. I will travel farther next time to find something decent. Will never go back to this place again. read more

I've been going here for at least 4 years. Came in today for lunch with my toddler daughter. Ordered two tuna melts, one with fries and an order of tzatziki with pita. Left with a $23.00 bill. Maybe it's just me but that was a steep check for lunch. The food was good as always but I am disappointed it left such a hole in my wallet. The waitress came back with a dirty rag and smeared it round the table and threw it back on the table while she asked for our drink order. Food was horrible. We eat here frequently. Breakfast options are numerous and satisfying. For dinner I especially like the beef tips and pasta when available. That's comfort food for me. The burgers are unbeatable. We just moved to the area and decided to try out the Apollo Diner. It's the traditional meat and three. We always get the chicken fried steak if it's offered, which it was. My hubby and I have eaten chicken fried steak all over and this was absolutely the best we'd ever had. There was no gristle in the meat, it was very tender, the white gravy was the perfect consistency. We also got corn and mashed potatoes because they were out of Brussels sprouts as we came in at the end of the lunch hour. This tells me they must make some awesome Brussels sprouts. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I want to try other things to see if they are just as delicious. read more

Great selection of Greek and American food. You will be impressed! This is a small, family run diner with great prices. The food is wonderful with HUGE portions. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served quickly and there are always daily specials. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. I eat there quite often when I am in Melbourne and I've never heard a single complaint. If you don't believe me, ask the regulars (the majority) who come in to eat two or THREE times a day! Not very friendly or attentive. Just ordered 2 eggs on a roll with sausage. It took almost twenty minutes even tho the place was empty. When it finally did come out, there was cheese on it. I did not ask for cheese because I can't eat it. They redid it but really? Twenty minutes for an egg sandwich is ridiculous. It wasn't even very good. read more

It all began early morning Sunday March-11th 2012. It was a warm and humid morning. As the four of us awoke to begin our daily activities we could feel the suns heat even through the intermittent showers. While at Daytona raceway and sitting on a brand new Kawasaki 250, the same as what Ryan Villopoto rides, our stomachs began to growl with hunger. Walked over from the Hilton , because I wanted someting different. I had the Grecian Omlette, which was good, but what's with the burned out waitstaff,,, kicking the swinging doors open from the kitchen, seemingly exhasperated and not wanting to be there. Maybe they were just short that day, the loud jerk on the bluetooth headset at the next table was also pretty annoying, but that isn't their fault. I hope the coffee splatters on the side of the cup were from filling mine and delivering and not just left over from the last customer. Delicious! We are new to the area and have started checking out breakfast spots. So far this place has the best pancakes. I had the skillet special and my wife had the eggs, sausage, and grits. Do not pass up on Apollo's! I have yet to have something that wasn't to my liking here! My favorites are eggs benedict for breakfast and a gyro/burger/greek salad for lunch. This was a GREAT spot! My parents and I were visiting from Michigan because my brother was performing at the Runaway Country Music Festival. We came in for a late dinner on Friday night and the food and service were excellent. The prices were also very reasonable. Tammy was our server, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. I had a veggie pita, my mom had a Greek salad, and my dad had shepherds pie. Tammy was so nice-- she gave us the Runaway Country advertisement/banner that was hanging in the restaurant window. My mom was thrilled. We were so pleased with our dinner experience that we returned for breakfast on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Saturday and Sunday were busy, but the staff remained friendly and the food came just as fast. Julie was our server on Saturday, and she was lovely. Apollo Diner is our "Go To" location for lunch when nothing else seems enticing. They have a good variety of choices with a definite Greek flair. There are usually 7 or 8 daily specials that sometimes has something very special such as their Pork Schnitzel. The bacon cheeseburger is very good as is most everything at Apollo. We have been eating breakfast at Apollos Diner two or three times a month for the past couple of years. The service has always been good, not overly friendly, but good and the food is usually above average. Nothing to brag about but not horrible. We were in this past Sunday and I had an omelette, two pieces of toast, a side of bacon, glass of milk and cup of coffee. Went to pay the bill and it was over sixteen dollars. When I questioned the owner on why it was so high, she said it was "because of the bacon." I had the same exact meal two weeks prior and it was twelve dollars. I don't want to think that they were just ripping me off, but can't believe that they would raise the prices that much at one time. We won't be eating breakfast at Apollos any more. read more

We went here on a whim and Im glad we did. The atmosphere was definitely a diner type experience. The server was very nice. We had Hummus and the pita bread was delicious. I also had a burger and it was a typical diner burger which I enjoyed. We had home made peanut butter pie as well and it was very memorable. I will go back for that pie! It's been a while since I have written a review for this great Greek diner!! The food is the best you can get anywhere in this county. It's always fresh, delicious and presented great. We have catered to this restaurant since they re-opened as Apollo I believe in 2006, prior to that we started going to their first restaurant Colossus in 1992. The food is excellent and you can't find a better restaurant that is strictly homemade as this. The help is good and their new server Costos is very good for only being there a short time. He is attentive, fast and always has a nice thing to say. I like the fact that he greets you with a smile and a "how are you", not everyone does. If you haven't tried this place, now is the time to do it, you won't be sorry! read more

This place has mystery meat for their Apollo burger, and it's a rip off for beverages more than other diners. Coffee is nasty, I exchanged it for iced tea. Waitresses are horrible. They don't smile, make any suggestions, run off too fast for you to say "Hey I wanted fries." One waitress has DD breasts, gave me something to look at while I ate.
