My wife and I had cheese Burners and fries last night in a pick up order and wasnt happy with the fries. I picked one out of the bag on the way home and it was barely warm. They tasted terrible. It was a chance we took for the convient stop. Honestly, Ive never had good fries out of this place. It is easy to tell they don't change the fry oil that often. The bugers were good. read more

Ordered 3 burgers there was 1-4 inch meat, all lettuce and onion. Gyro was ok. We ordered just burgers no combos, $50. 6 months ago you got a good serving for a little bit more than regular fast food prices. Spend your money at other local places. read more

The place needs some cleaning and the workers wear gloves taking orders , making the order and handing out the orders but never change the gloves. The food has gotten extremely expensive for just a burger. read more

The food is always solid! You definitely want to get the onion rings! Excellent all around!!

Honestly it's gone to complete shit.. while working there a few years there was a bad water leak next the breaker... corporate said they couldn't fix it because they would have to shut the store down for 6 months and that would cut into revenue turns out it was a pipe that drained water from the roof had a crack. It took them less then a day to fix it with little to know no down time...took them 6 months to even bother looking into it. That tells you all you need to know about this company... read more

The food was disappointing. The cheese was charred onto the patty and tasted like charcoal. Worst burger I've ever had. The fries had no taste and no salt. The shake was the only thing that was decent. read more

"Under new management" means nothing if you continue to not serve fresh food. I got a salad and all the lettuce was brown. I didn't find out until I got home and started eating it, so I drove back to get a fresh salad. "Sorry about that" doesn't count when you don't realize I had to drive back wasting my time and gas. At least refunding me the salad would have prevented a negative review. Guess I won't be going to Apollo Burger anymore... again. read more

The restaurant is a disaster. Every table is dirty. No people are in here at prime lunchtime. Hot and filthy.

Mmmmmm wow . Possibly one of the greasiest breakfast burritos ive ever eaten. At least tried . The kid who took my order was nice . The girl handling my food probably shouldve changed her gloves . Management should really get on quality control . read more

We stopped by just for something to do. The fries were perfect. I wasn't hungry and I ate them like a starving man at the end of the world. I will be back. Maybe tonight. The chicken plate we got was delicious. Double fries was definitely the way to go. read more

March 13th, 2023 4:45 PM I can't see paying 35 dollars for a double cheeseburger with fries and a Pepsi and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries, no drink and have to throw the order away because it's inedible. You call this "fresh"? The buns were stale, the chicken was made this afternoon, the burger patties were dried out, fries were dead (so dead they needed a funeral...and they got one) and stuck together, I ordered extra onions....no onions, I could literally see through my tomato (congrats on that persons scalpel skills), your Diet Pepsi bib needed to be changed yesterday, but thanks for that extra green leaf lettuce!!! I have flipped many a burger in my years and to be honest, it's not that hard of a job, so I don't understand why my food is inedible...WHY?!?!?! If I order a burger from somewhere, it's not because I can't cook, it's because I don't feel like it. Was it because I used a food delivery service? We're you a little annoyed that I didn't come in, order my food, so you wave that tablet in my face and shame me for not tipping you? Efffffffffff Youuuuuuuuu. I know you guys make at least minimum wage, and it's not my fault that your bosses can't pay you a living wage. So no, I'm not going to supplement your earnings because of your cheap owners. Needless to say, my wife and I will not order, doordash, or even look in your general direction again. I hope folks read the whole review, because this is more of an fyi, so others will steer clear of your business. read more

Aside from how they treat their employees.. there's mold in their walk ins in their locations, they pre-cook food and let it sit for hours claiming it's made to order, they run a skeleton crew expecting them to do the work of 2-3 people each, overwork their management (and don't provide adequate training or offer proper support to them). Rather than taking the time and resources to help the manager improve they demote them or fire them. They expect 100 hours a week on an unlivable salary. I could go on. The tooele location used to be great. It's gone to hell. Unsure what the owner is trying to prove, but all he's done is screw up with this location the last couple years. The food? Gross. Old. Being told to cook through boxes of brown smelly meat rather than toss it to save money.. then reprimand when a complaint comes through. Unattainable expectations for the crew and they set everyone up for failure. Not to mention the "tipping" thing being a way around providing livable wages to the hourly employees. Michael.. do better. your locations conditions (and corner cutting to keep pocketing money for yourself) is tarnishing the name of your brand. Used to be great but now? It's clear it's only about a profit for you and you could care less about your people. To demote one person based off bulls*** drama and lies; not try to help them improve, not doing anything to help the success of the location... then turning around and screwing over the person you replaced them with for someone who's running the place into the ground.. shame on you. Do better. To the public don't eat here. The number of food poisoning calls they receive is more a week than you want to know. read more

I have lived in Utah all my life. Not quite sure when I started eating at Apollo burger. Hate to say this, but the last 10 years it has went downhill and today was the worst. They don't even have their signature fry sauce. The burgers are not good anymore. Barely any meat, their signature shredded lettuce. They do not do anymore. I do not believe they will be in business much longer? Because the quality is not there. Also, their signature Euros suck 2. They used to be the best in the valley and they are so unflavorful, and they do not have anything on them. It's a sad day when I cannot enjoy the apollo burger. I cannot stop I had to get this off my chest and I will not eat there again. read more

The food was delicious and service was great! A good burger place in Tooele! Easily accessible and great place to catch up with old friends.

FABULOUS HOT FRIES!!! ALWAYS FRESH FROM THE FRYER!! I don't indulge in fried foods very often but fresh hot fries are my VICE and Apollo fries are the BEST when they are hot from the fryer.... and you can ALWAYS count on them being HOT!!! I've never had their burgers, tho i LOVE a good char grilled burger; my kids say they are the best in town! They serve Breakfast too! read more

I ordered the halibut platter tonight, it took a lot longer than it should have to come out and when I opened the box, I had 3 tiny overcooked fish sitting among a pile of fries. I mean McDonald's nuggets are bigger! When I asked the girl that took our order what was going on, she said that was all that was left and there wasn't anything she could do. Well my husband wasn't having it, we didn't pay $12.50 for such poor food! The guy that helped at the counter said he would look into it and came out with a new bag of fish from the freezer, so not all they had, just lazy workers. Again it took forever to get the food to us and when he came back with my new order, the fish looked better but was still tiny! When did Apollo change their fish vendor? Those things used to be a really good size and quality, not this over-priced fish sticks! If you are headed there for the halibut platter because it was your favorite, dont bother. read more

It has been over a year since we ate here. Tried it again and it is well worth it. Burgers are juicy, fries are perfection and they made a shake blend for us. Thanks Tooele team for making it better! read more

I really enjoyed the food here. Sadly it's super expensive for what you get. My biggest gripe is the teenagers making the food. I patiently watch them cook burgers and Gyros on the grille-- no gloves is fine... but itching body parts (head, back, face, etc) while cooking is gross. It's probably good that I don't work for the FDA. I imagine many fast food locations are in violation of Some Health code-- Apollo step up your game. read more

Rude...tried several times. Always have things missing when I get home. Expensive for the poor service you receive.

Went Apollo Burgers, will not be going back, was way over charged. Told three different people my order and it was still wrong. Wasn't asked if I wanted my receipt, now I wish I had asked for it. I know they are trying to train new employees, but I didn't see one person over twenty. read more

Always tasty. Best to dine in, since as with most places these days, fresh orders do take a bit longer. Worth the wait.

Place is dirty as soon as you walk in. Shoes stick to the floor, tables weren't clean. Don't go into the bathroom, not clean. Smoked out from the kitchen, it was hard to breathe. I'm hoping this was a busy day and its random. read more

I don't usually leave reviews. Apollo Burger was great just a handful of months ago. I don't know what happened today, but the fries were not cooked all the way, the powerade was watery, and they didn't put pastrami on the Golden Burger. (This is the main feature of this burger.) Very disappointing today. read more

Probably the best burger place in Tooele. I love their Bacon Cheeseburger quite a bit, and their fries are to die for. Every time go over there, the people at the counter are always very nice, and the price's are reasonable. The time you have to wait is not too bad, and it is worth it. I once got the OREO shake and it was pretty good. I would probably eat here rather than anywhere else in Tooele. read more

We ordered food from Apollo Burger today. When my husband picked up the order he asked where the milkshake was that he had ordered and paid for. The worker told him that the milkshakes were awful. He asked for his money back. He was told that the manager wasn't in so they couldn't refund his money. All he could do was order something else on the menu for the equivalent price. When he got home with our food the halibut fish sandwich, I ordered was way over cooked. it was dry and rubbery. I could only eat a few bites before throwing it away. When I tried to call the Tooele Apollo Burger to talk to a manager, I got the busy signal all day long and into the night. Poor customer service and poor quality of food. Won't be back. read more

Nothing like being in a hurry to take a family to dinner. Then to go in to a place and stand at a counter for 15 minutes without someone even having the decency to say hi and we will be right with you. This will be the last time I eat at an Apollo burger. Or don't eat. read more

I've always enjoyed Apollo Burger in Salt Lake and Bountiful. I decided to try Apollo Burger in Tooele. When I pulled up, I thought it was closed. No cars in the entire parking lot. I should have maybe taken that as a sign. I was the only customer they had and while there for almost 45 minutes, they didn't have any other customer besides myself. I ordered the Apollo Burger combo. I was shocked when the total came to almost 20 dollars! I was a little surprised when I went to go sit at a table that there were a number of tables that needed to be cleaned or maybe cleaned better...greasy and crumbs on some of the tables. When I finally got my order, I was very disappointed. The pastrami that they used for my burger was the paper thin pastrami that comes in the cheap packages you buy in the cheap meat section of the store. The portion of pastrami was so little I almost decided to take it back and ask for a refund. At least the fries were hot. I tried to pump the fry sauce from the fry sauce dispenser and it came out dry and clumpy. No thanks! To say I was incredibly disappointed and not at all satisfied with the food and the amount I paid, would be an understatement. I will not be going back nor would I recommend this to anyone. As a final note, the sign outside stated it was under new management. Well, for what it's worth, your new management isn't working... read more

I only ordered a small Oreo shake and a small fry for me and my granddaughter. Took at least 20 minutes at 8:30 pm. There were more employees than customers! Fries were too salty to eat. I don't know what's going on here, but this place has really gone down hill. I won't return. read more
