I ordered a grilled ham & cheese sandwich. It was terrible. Thick bread with cold cheese. One piece of ham lunchmeat. So disappointed in it. I asked for extra crispy fries. They didn't even bring them warm They did not take it off the bill. What a waste of money. Our daughter ordered meat balls. Too salty to finish. The cheeseburger, my husband said, was average. POOR OWNER CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This has been one of our favorite restaurants, we have gone to this place for years and always order the chicken Greek gyro. Tonight we ordered it to go. We talked someone else into trying the chicken gyro but they had never tried the sauce. I had a conversation with the person taking the order on the phone about making sure the chicken would be plain on one of them. When we opened the box at home we saw that it was the lamb and not the chicken. We do NOT like the lamb and called right away and it was 7:48pm, they close at 8:00pm. They just said, "oh, we are sorry the grill is closed". I said I wanted my money back and told them I would be right there so they could refund it. When I got there they just said, "I didn't hear you say chicken". They made sure I gave every bit of food back, but we had eaten some of the soups and didn't bring the cups back. They made sure to charge us for each soup full price. I asked to speak to the owner and when he came out he looked very put out and annoyed that he had to deal with me, he could't even walk down the stairs so we had to have raised voices to talk. I simply asked if he knew what happened and he said "kinda", and NEVER once appologized for the situation. He then went off on me saying he had turned the grill off for the night(I called back to tell about the problem at 7:48pm) and that he had worked hard to fix the orders and now they were going to be thrown away. I was very surprised that an owner of a mom and pop restaurant would treat a customer this way. I am so sad to say that I will not be going back to this restaurant again. read more

So I got a grilled cheese and it was made w plastic packaged American cheese hardly melted and when I asked for cheddar this is what I got. Lemon soup is good but the rest was garbage. I only took one bite of both. read more

This is a hard review to write, because of the circumstances of our visit, as the power went out just after getting our Soups/Salads. That being said, the visit actually got better from there rather than worse. Based on the food alone, I would give Dimitri's at least a 4.5 and maybe a 5 stars, but based on the front of house situation as a whole, it would be like a 1. Before we ever got any food, and before the power went out my wife already put a nail in the coffin and said she would never come back here. After we had left she said, we will for sure order takeout, but probably never dine in. When we arrived, there was a group of teenagers just standing around talking laughing and yes, cursing, in the bus/cashier area. None of them reacted to us, and we really weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. This was Valentine's day, but they weren't busy, so I'm not gonna blame that. Eventually, after our toddlers started to become a bit of a scene, a waitress came over and said "hi" without any direction or indication of what we were supposed to do. I asked if we were supposed to sit ourselves, but she didn't reply at all, it was really awkward. But then one of the teens from the bus station said "you should probably just sit there (motioning to the worse table right by the drafty front door, with dust and the cord to the open sign on it), there aren't any tables upstairs" (even though I could see 4 empty tables). None the less, we sat at the terrible table and waited. Despite a sign on the front that adverts all day breakfast, my wife got shot down on her breakfast choice. Also the waiter does not know the menu at all, because when she said her request he had to look and see what it was, then when I asked about getting Prime Rib, because I didn't see it on the menu, but I've seen it on their FB page, and they do have a sign advertising Prime Rib and Lobster, he rudely tried to point out where it was on the menu, though, it was not on the menu. This whole time, that group if teens were still huddled at the nearby bussing station loudly chatting, and constantly cursing. I really didn't know if they even worked there, who they were or what, it was just very unprofessional. A woman, who I am assuming was an owner or something even walked by and around there multiple times but didn't see fit to break it up. Anyway, all of that out of the way, once the power went out it was actually up hill from there. The only thing that was "negative" was just that they couldn't cook the pastas we ordered cause apparently their stove is electric. No biggie and not their fault, except that when they retook the orders for my wife who got pasta and toddler who got a kids menu pasta, that delayed the entirety of the order by the amount of time it took to make the food. Would have been nice if we could have gotten the items that should have been ready right when the retake occurred, because when I did get my Prime Rib it was cold. Like it had been sitting there (with not electric heat lamp) for the 15-20 minutes it took to remake the other items. I gave them the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars, and certainly sinned other places much more for similar things that happened here, but that is because of how well they handled the power outage, and how good the food was. I will probably try to talk the wife in to one more sit in experience, but at the very least we will order takeout in the future I'm sure. I just hope the future in house visit doesn't make the rating go down. read more

Best breakfast in Tooele!!! Their prime rib special is super. Bacon is perfectly crispy. My husband loves the chili verde breakfast burrito. It's always consistently clean, fast, tasty and satisfying. We go for Sunday breakfast often. Saves a trip to salt lake. read more

This is another little mom & pop place in Tooele that we go to from time to time. We haven't been disappointed yet. Try the Lemmon rice soup (I think it's called) it is pretty good. I'm not a fan of soup and even tried to order something different but the lady was like "no try the soup" so I did and loved it. Food is good, fast and fresh. Worst Greek food I've ever had. Please go to another Greek restaurant and learn how to make actual Greek food. The lemon soup is i swear just two cans of campbells with lemon. So bad. We used to come here nearly every week when I was a kid, usually for breakfast, so I'm kind of partial to this place. The wait staff and management has always been super friendly. Although I've moved away, I still like to come here when I visit my family - I love the lemon rice soup and the baklava. Obviously there are limitations to the dining experience since it is Tooele, and the hours can be weird, but I enjoy it nonetheless. read more

The food here left a lot to be desired. I ordered the prime rib. I was lucky if it was 1/4 inch thick. There was more fat than meat. 3 1/4 potatoes and maybe a scoop of veggies. My boyfriend got the mushroom steak. He got 4 1/4 potatoes and a larger scoop of veggies. The mushrooms were canned. Both came with soup and salad. Soup was ok. Salad was lettuce and half a slice of tomato. This meal in lack of better words sucked. We will not be back. read more

Don't waste your money here. I ordered a salad and added grilled chicken. The chicken was cold, old and from the refrigerator. The lettuce was wet and disgusting. My kids chicken finger meal was an absolute joke. When I asked to talk to the manager about removing my salad she would only take off a few dollars and refufused to come out herself and speak to me. I waited 15 min before finally just paying the balance and leaving. I called back later to speak to the owner only to find out the manager that refused to speak to me was the owner. I worked for a place where the entire staff was in love with Dimitris, and when the company paid for lunch that is where they went. I was a part of two of those trips, and on my first attempt I left more than half of my food on the plate. The meat tasted like it was cooked well beyond the fresh by date, it was Luke warm, and the vegetables were horrible. Since I give everyone the benefit of the doubt when it comes to having an off day, I went back for a second attempt. I was told to order the prime rib as that was their speciality, so I did. Doing so was a huge mistake. It was served cold, and the vegetables were swimming in the prime rib juices. Not only did the prime rib not have any flavor, serving it cold made it inedible. I was able to get one bite chewed and down, and was so disappointed I went to Vista Linda while the staff finished their meals. To Dimitris' credit, they did not charge my boss for the plate. read more

Just moved into town and heard good things about the restaurant. Boy was that wrong. I ordered a club sandwich ez mayo. Got my sandwich with alot of mayo. Took 2 bits to see if it would be ok. So I sent it back and they sent out another with a little less mayo and almost no meat. And 3 slices of the sandwich. I guess it's the cooks way a of teaching me a lesson for sending food back. After seeing that I couldn't eat it not knowing what the cook could have done to my food. I complained to the waitress and got a apology. Nothing taken off the bill. I won't be back. Went there last night to try this restaurant one more time. Good service, but horrible food. Maybe if we had ordered Greek food instead of the prime rib, our experience would have been better. The prime rib was suppose to be medium cooked. It came back thinly sliced and well done. It was dry and tasteless. Potatoes were good, but a little skimpy on the portion. Vegies were just ok. Again, skimpy portions. Dinner salad was lettuce with a slim slice of a single tomatoes. Desert of baklava was good. Price was comparable to a higher end restaurant for what we had. $48.00 for a dinner for two. Sorry Dimitri's... we wont come back. read more
