Everything was fine until a server decided to yell across the entire bar that it was "illegal" for me to have it. Not "against policy"... not "we don't allow outside drinks"... she specifically said "illegal." That is 100% false. There is no Utah law that makes having a water bottle in a bar illegal. Instead of handling it like a normal person, she made a scene, embarrassed us in front of the whole bar, and escalated it for absolutely no reason. I immediately said I'd throw it away, but that wasn't enough -- she kept pushing it. When we asked for a different server after being treated like that, we got kicked out. Then comes the best part. When I asked about a manager, I was told the owner had been called and that he laughed and told us to leave a review. And sure enough -- the owner responds (see photos) saying they would "refill my water bottle" or provide one for free. So let's get this straight: Your staff says it's "illegal," makes a scene, and kicks customers out over it... but now it's something you offer? That's not a policy -- that's incompetence. This wasn't about rules. This was about staff making things up, escalating it, and management backing it instead of taking any responsibility. If your employees are going to throw around the word "illegal" like that, at least make sure they know what they're talking about. Service was terrible on top of it -- long waits just to be acknowledged, slow everything, and zero follow-up. Between the misinformation, the attitude, and the owner doubling down instead of fixing it, this place is run poorly from top to bottom. Save your time and money. There are plenty of bars that know how to act professional. This isn't one of them.

I pulled up my Colorado digital ID, and the employee seemed completely thrown by it and insisted on seeing my physical license. I understand businesses have policies, but the interaction felt unnecessarily awkward. I didn't choose the restaurant, but as someone with celiac disease, this was an even bigger issue. I let the staff know up front that I have celiac disease and need to avoid gluten. I ordered a bunless burger and skipped the fries since they don't have a dedicated fryer. I ordered a side salad instead, only to find out almost all of the dressings contained gluten, so I went with the vinaigrette. The burger itself was overcooked and honestly pretty underwhelming. The worst part came at the end of my meal. I took a bite of my salad and felt a crunch. There was a crouton mixed in. I had to spit it into my napkin in front of my coworkers, but by then I'd already chewed it and had crumbs throughout my mouth. For someone with celiac disease, this isn't just an inconvenience. If I'd never mentioned it, that would be one thing. But after telling the staff up front, there should never have been a crouton on that salad. That's beyond normal cross contamination. It was simply careless, and unfortunately it overshadowed the entire experience.

We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? It was 34 degrees outside we had just walked over, our noses were running, and one of us blew his nose. That was the entire "evidence." We were the only customers in the establishment, were polite, sober, and never given a chance to order food or drinks. Instead, we were followed, accused, and escorted out into the cold. Based on the way we were treated and consistent with other reviews about this place we feel we were racially discriminated. Both staff members involved were white; all three of us are Latin American U.S. citizens. For context, we are working professionals: I run a consulting agency, my friend manages business developers for a major company in Salt Lake City, and my brother-in-law is a registered nurse who supervises and trains other nurses. We came in to eat and talk, not to be accused of criminal behavior. Management should seriously review the conduct and judgment of the staff working that night. This experience was inappropriate, humiliating, and unacceptable.
