They have something like 10 taps, lots of it is pretty nice craft beer. On Tuesdays, it's only $2! Apparently they have been offering this deal for decades! What's the catch? They are operating as a restaurant so in Utah, you are required to order food with your drinks. They do have some cheaper food options and the servers are very cool with you sharing food. I recommend getting a pizza to share! As far as the food is concerned, it's your pretty standard bar/pub food but a little bit more upscale. So, it's a good spot if you're looking for something that everyone will enjoy. Their pizzas are popular and very reasonably priced. Porcupine is also a great location for post mountain activities and right along multiple trail routes. I frequently find myself here after an intense outdoor activity, looking for air conditioning and good food. The nice thing about them operating as a restaurant is that it's kid friendly! The flavor/seasoning of the batter was good but the texture threw me off. Not bad, but just okay for me. The second night I had the ribs and those were really delicious. The meat was fall off the bone tender and the bbq sauce added that sweet tang. I'd go back for the ribs. Servers were really friendly and attentive. They were patient with us the second night since we had such a large group.

This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! They were not; they were actually 50% or more higher at the restaurant. The hamburger that was showing on Yelp for $15 was actually $22. The Steak Frites advertised for $22 were $35. I understand inflation, but this was a gross enough difference that it borders on deception, in my opinion. I also had a bad experience with my food: I ordered a cup of their chili (which they claim is made from scratch, on-site) and it was brought to the table cold. Like, "right out of a can" cold. Kelsi, our fantastic server, returned it to the kitchen where (I presume) they nuked it and brought it back. It was heated, but not very tasty. Flat; under-seasoned; mushy textured. Definitely something I'd never order again. Many reviews say the atmosphere is "loud" but what they mean is, it's "LOUD". We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? My burger was FANTASTIC! piled high with caramelized onions and pastrami, but beef patty tasted like it'd just come off a charcoal grill. Terrific flavor in every bite. (The parmesan fries were tasty, too, but a little on the soggy side.) My dining partners each had a salad (one 'wedge' and one 'beetroot') and both were well-prepared and generously portioned. And, finally, the staff, the location, the vibe: All really first-rate. I'll probably come back, if I ever recover from the bait'n'switch sticker shock.
