What an experience! This all started when I ignored a strange sound coming from my AIO pump back in January. I did not know it at the time but the pump had failed leading to my CPU (i9 12900k) redline for the subsequent 4 months - by the time it was May, my computer would regularly screen tear during VR, crash during games, and I was at my wit's end. I tried everything on my own until I followed up with Jose at APlus Tech Labs. He identified the issue, offered up upgrade my CPU and replace it with a new AIO Cooling system. I was very happy with the price and lead time. I wound up bringing Jose my 2nd PC as well! For this 2nd PC, the PSU or the Motherboard had gotten fried so we had both replaced in a matter of days. I went into APLUS a few months ago looking to get my laptop fixed after spilling some water on it. Jose, the assumed owner of APLUS, assured me it'll get fixed. About a month goes by and he tells me it's ready after replacing the defective motherboard, however, the battery is also fried and will add to my bill despite not telling me ahead of time or asking for my authorization. Keep in mind, he's charging me an extra $60 for the aftermarket battery when an OEM Dell battery is the same price. Reluctantly, I paid and moved on. Because I had work travel, I wasn't able to touch the laptop until a week later and discovered the laptop had the same symptoms as before. I inform Jose and tells me he could fix it under warranty. This is when Jose keeps giving me the run around about how each replacement motherboard is also broken and he needs to source more parts. Nearly another month goes by and I still haven't heard anything from Jose. At this point, he's taken both my money and my laptop. Finally, nearly 3 months since I first dropped off my laptop, Jose finally responds. This is after I threatened to file a police report for theft of property. He agrees to return my laptop but gives some excuse about how the laptop is just one part away from being finished. Upon receiving my laptop, an inspection shows it was missing a ton of parts and screws. Even after putting a few spares in, the laptop still doesn't work and I'll have to file a dispute with my credit card company. My theory is Jose doesn't know how to run a business, was forced to close, and stole a bunch of customer cash as a last-ditch effort to salvage something. Despite what the business status says, APLUS Tech Labs is not "temporarily closed", they're permanently closed. The shop is completely empty with a construction crew painting over the walls. My 7 years old pc was not boosting so I went to a PC repair shop and found out the mother board was broken,but they said the part should come from china and It will take too long time. So I found this shop from yelp and I told the worker the mother board is broken and If he can found one. Few days later, the worker said he found one and cost $320 and I said ok to repair. But a week later he said I have to pay another $120!!! I said why?? He said the graphic card is broken too,but he did not knew when he did diagnostic last week,So total $440!!! Oh man!!! I can almost buy a new one with that money. So I said no thanks and I went to pick it up today. And guess what?! He(employee) said I have to pay $80 for diagnostic. I said I told your boss at the beginning, the mother board is broken and I just need the mother board to reboot the PC. Also, he never told me to pay the $80 at the beginning.(By the way, the other shop cost $25 for diagnostic).I show him the receipt(attached in the bottom) and tell him to check the CCTV if you do not believe me. but he said he is not gonna check the CCTV ?!!.( I still do not get it.****why he and the owner(he came later) are refused to show me the evidence--CCTV.***********There will be no argument if we checked the CCTV!!!!***********). I was told it is either a Motherboard issue OR a Power Supply issue. Nothing else was wrong with this iMac. 5 days later- I got 2 quotes. One for power supply, one for power supply and a motherboard. 7+ days later- I got a call that the worker BROKE MY LCD SCREEN during repair. Stop and think about this- this supposedly professional company- BROKE MY LCD. PICTURE ATTACHED. My iMac was delayed 2 weeks+, with a new broken LCD, a inaccurate diagnosis testing and a bill for $400+. They replaced my LCD for free, replaced my power supply and the computer still doesn't work. Then had the audacity to quote me $600+ for a motherboard repair. They show a lack of empathy and remorse. I will be filing a complaint with small claims court Los Angeles. PLEASE BEWARE. After calling all the different computer stores around LA, SFV, OC and the IE I settled with them. They had the best prices, best customer support and time back out of everyone. I had them build my PC after taking a trip to Microcenter and I dropped it off at 3PM Thursday. They had it done at 5PM the following day ready to go with Windows installed. I finally came around to writing this review. About a year ago, I spilled coffee on my laptop. I immediately turned it off and brought it to APlus for a cleaning over the weekend. It took longer than expected to get it checked because they wanted to make sure it's dry, which I thought was good. Anyway, I came to pick near their closing time so I didn't want to spend too much time examining their work. The laptop turned on and it was good enough. I did notice some ugly scratches in various areas of the keyboard where I'm guessing they poked around to open it. I asked about it and I was told they were gonna order one and they were going to call me when they had the part to replace it. The next day when I started using it again, the trackpad would get stuck and I noticed a few coffee stains were visible which made me question their work "under the keyboard". I use a mouse so the trackpad wasn't too much trouble and thought I should just wait until the top cover was replaced. Well, it's been over a year. I was charged $100. My keyboard cover is lose around two corners and trackpad still gets stuck. I'm positive the overall body was compromised as it sometimes glitches. So I needed a custom high end PC in a rapid time frame. I am a professional trader, and the computer I was using was glitching out. I called A+ and gave my price range/budget for a new build and they were able to help me out immediately. Was a 24hour turn around time which is insane, they were on there stuff and were able to walk me through all the parts they selected and keep me in the loop. Jose was awesome, alwasy answered the phone, took as much time as I wanted with questions or concerns and was all around a great help! After receiving the new build, which was sick, there was an issue with one of the parts, not any fault of Jose or the builders just a warranty issue. Strongly reccomend this place due to Eddie's excellent customer service from start to finish. My computer had been running slowly, freezing and randomly closing me out of applications. I came here thinking that I wanted to scrub my hard drive, and delete everything off of it. While that was an option, Eddie quickly educated me that harddrives had evolved and that replacing mine with an SSD card would solve my problem, AND speed up my computer. While I was initially skeptical that he was upselling me, the quote for an SSD card was only a little bit more money than cleaning up my hard drive. I opted to upgrade. I walked in on a Saturday, without calling ahead, and I saw some other projects underway. My skeptical self assumed that I would not be getting my computer back any time soon, but Eddie surprised me and said that I would get it back in a couple hours. Not only was my computer returned in a few hours, but it was wiped clean (much needed), fully charged and had a new clip to hold my wrapped up charging cable. I was personally intent on building my next video editing workstation, so much so that I already had a long list of components in my Amazon shopping cart. As it was holiday shopping season in November I thought I could save some cash if I bought everything separately and tried to build it on my own. I was about to buy the parts online when I found myself second guessing the idea because it would have been my first time building my computer and it was too much of a large investment to potentially mess things up. I soon found myself on OfferUp looking for used computers when I suddenly came across the most unexpected ad. It was literally the same computer I had been shopping for online! When I saw the ad I was pleasantly surprised that it was not a simple ad for a used computer but an ad for a brand new rig from a reputable business that backs their products with a warranty. The ad was for an intel 8700k with 32gb of rgb ram, with an amazing evga GTX 1080 Ti all on a beautiful all new Aorus z390 Pro WIFI motherboard. To be honest this computer had better specs than the one I was going to build for a couple hundred dollars less! Plus I did not have to wait for shipping, spend time on building, money on accessories like thermal paste, extra cables and it was cheaper than building it on my own. I will be honest and say that not everything went without a couple of bumps down the road. The shop was gracious enough to provide a free keyboard and mouse with my purchase, but the Bluetooth attachment was broken, fortunately it was an easy fix as a replacement was promised. Secondly, my z390 motherboard should have come with an antenna adapter but it was not on the build when I bought it. The shop was kind enough to get back to me with excellent customer support and assured me they found the antenna and will have it ready for pickup. Shops like these are a great reason to support local business as they are able to provide one-on-one customer service unlike online custom PC build companies that often deliver broken hardware or have terrible customer service reputations. I have already recommended this place to some people and look forward to going back to the shop for future upgrades. read more

I was charged a $25 diagnostic fee for an incorrect diagnosis. They quoted $550 for a new motherboard when that was clearly not the issue. I had it fixed by another repair shop that didn't charge a diagnostic fee and ultimately repaired it for less than $80 and was properly diagnosed to only need a new cable and not a mother board. Beware of computer shops that don't out the time to properly diagnose your concern, and instead would rather up sell you parts that are not needed. read more

Two words - Amazing service. Background: I had bought multiple parts that needed to be installed. At first I handed it over to a buddy of mine that said "he knew what he was doing." That was the first mistake... I had so many parts to be install that he got overwhelmed with the wiring and everything was a total mess. However, I started receiving notifications informing me that my windows 10 license was going to expire; which was strange because the computer was purchased allegedly with windows 10 pro installed.
