The guys at APlus Plumbing are exceptional. I have had to call them on 3 occasions and they scheduled me in right away, like next day. Friendly, courteous and professional, they don't stop until the job is finished. They showed me what needed to be done and they gave me a fair estimate. Since I've used them so often they offered me a discount on some of the work. They have been there for me when I needed them so I highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues. read more

The guys were here 5 minutes, gave me a super outrageous quote and said call me if you want us. They were rude and not very helpful at all!

Juan & Miguel came to our rescue at our Mom's house in Hayward. A pipe under the sink had broken. They repaired it, replaced the pipes, installed a new faucet & hooked up an ice maker. They were prompt, professional & did a fantastic job. We really appreciate how quickly they responded. The price they charged was very reasonable. Thank you to APlus plumbing for a job well done. read more

Completely unhappy with the $425 that was quoted to do the work. Took no more than an hour and a half and the parts were all PVC as cheap as they come. They only get a 2 instead of a 1 because they were quick to respond and on time. Go somewhere else! read more

Very prompt and professional service! I had a broken and disconnected garbage disposal, causing a leaky kitchen sink. I called A Plus plumbing this morning at 9am, Eduardo arrived at 10am to give me a free estimate (exactly when they said they would), and I had a shiny new working disposal by 11:30. No more leaks or worries! These people are as good as the yelp reviews indicate and as an earlier reviewer hinted, you have to be impressed by the vast number of reviewers. Thank you again Eduardo for an excellent job! read more

If you need ANY plumbing assistance APlus Plumbing is the BEST out there!!! I was very worried because our toilet and tub keep backing up. This morning it did it again! I needed a quick fix since we only have one bathroom. Within an hour Juan and his right hand man showed up and saved the day! Juan was VERY fast and showed me exactly where the problem was. The price is no where near as expensive as the other plumbers out there! I would 100% recommend him to you! Thank you APlus Plumbing! read more

When my toilet backed up I did the initial plunge plunge plunge. After nothing happened, I waited a day to see if the water would just settle itself and loosen up what ever the clog was, but the next day I saw sewage backing up into my Shower as well as tub. I don't know anything about plumbing, but I know that wasn't good. I called APlus Plumbing and they sent someone (Juan) over within 30min. He looked at the problem and told me my options. He was straight forward and didn't cut corners, which was great. I told him I would think about it and give him a call in an hour. I called them back and within 30min Juan was back at my house and fixing the problem. He gave me an estimate time of 1.5hrs and was done within 20min. He did a high pressure water from the roof vent to the main drain and removed the clogged area. It was fast and easy. After he was done he just asked if i could write an honest review when I got a chance. APlus is a great plumbing company and hopefully i don't have more plumbing issues but if I do, I know who to call. read more

Juan and Jose were great team, they were able to come 2 hours after I called and they were on time. They fixed the problems and the rate was reasonable. They also gave me a free estimate for future repairs. Thank you Juan and Jose. read more

Cleared blocked sewer line. Quoted on installing additional clean out and replacing main line. Work was okay, solving our immediate problem. However, service tech attitude was as if he did not want the job or had somewhere else he wanted to be. Gave us quotes to complete repairs but packed up equipment while we were trying to decide to proceed with additional work (10-15 min. discussion) and told us to call back next week. Thanks but no thanks. read more

I called APLUS today to install a new dishwasher at my condo. An air gap is needed. The man who answered the phone said I must have a hole for him to install it which is fine but he is charging $300!!!! I don't think it's very difficult task to install a dishwasher but this company is way too much...I do not recommend them. 1 star minus 1 = 0 read more

Good People, No BS pricing, Very Patient with their explanations, willing to work fast to get the job done quick. Even in pouring rain

When they opened the door for the vanity, they wanted to cut a hole in the cabinet to disconnect the drain. The drain is next to the interior partition, but the next plumber I called removed the drain within 5 minutes of arrival without cutting holes in the cabinet, and removed the blockage in the next 15 minutes. All completed with a pair of channel locks the same tool APlus Plumbing was unsuccessful in using. If I had let APlus cut a hole in the cabinet, the drawer brackets would have been damaged. The vanity was installed with no problem, and past plumbing repairs did not require damaging the vanity. read more

I've used James and his crew for everything from an emergency sewer repair (he stayed until midnight to make sure the job got done right!) to a kitchen sink inspection. For my kitchen sink, he inspected, pointed out potential problems, gave me an estimate to fix them, but since he didn't actually fix anything, he didn't charge me for his half-hour visit! A true, reliable professional! read more

Quick response, price was okay only after negotiation, got the job done.

I asked for free estimate on noises that i heard from toilet water tank. He gave me the time frame that he will come for check it out. He showed up right on time. He put on shoe covers. Very polite. Told me what is wrong and suggest me i can even fix it myself. So i took his suggestion. Went to hardware store. Fixed the toilet. I would use this APLUS plumbing service and i recommend anyone who wants to use them. I guess first impression goes a long way. read more

So impressed by this gentleman and his nephew. They came at the end of Friday, as a response to my calling them with an urgent leak, and did amazing work. It is a delight to find such professionals and I would definitely recommend them and would absolutely use them again. read more

Juan and Miguel were awesome. They showed up within their appointment time, they assessed the situation (broken garbage disposal), quoted me a great price and because they had the exact same part needed on hand to replace, had the whole thing completed in less than an hour. Extremely professional, very clean, A++++++ experience all around. read more

Juan showed up within 20 mins of calling and took less than that to fix my backed up sewage issue. First quoted me a higher price then I mentioned other companies charged less for the same. He matched the price and got the job done quickly. Great service! read more

Had a sewage line clog, affecting the bathroom, toilets and washer drain. Had to have it fixed and they were the first ones to say yes to multiple plumbers that I called. 3.5 hours later they came out, spent 15 minutes to snake at the 1st floor bathtub cleanout and charged $250. I had tried to use another plumber that I had do some work at my other house, but they were booked. That other plumber charged me $69 for 30 minutes of work. But, it's fixed and we can use the toilets and showers so that's why I'm giving them 4 stars. Just don't expect a cheap fix for a few minutes of work. read more

Our toilet was backing up for 3 days and it started backing up into the tub and utility sink in the garage... nasty. My wife called APlus last Friday night, James showed up Saturday morning as promised. He checked things out, gave me a rough estimate, and advised Juan would be stopping by later. Enter Juan. He promptly investigated the issue, including going into the crawl space, and suggested we install a clean-out for the backup issue as it would provide easy access in the future if it happened again. This involved digging up the ground in the front yard and to our surprise... broken sewer line! NO!!!! Juan gave us all our options, but ultimately, the best one was to install a new ABS pipe to replace the old clay pipe that had broke (who knows how long) and the roots would not grow through the new pipe. Trenchless job he and his partner can take care of Sunday... no choice and we would have a piece of mind, not a piece of crap floating in the tub. Although it hit us hard in the pocket, it could have been worse. Juan was upfront and honest, no messing around, and gave us a discount in the end to help soften the blow. No gouging, no nonsense, all business and professional. Juan and partner were very nice, went straight to work, and finished Sunday afternoon. They even cleaned up my driveway where all the dirt was and applied cement to the hole they had to open up. I would give them more stars if I could. Awesome work fellas, can't thank you enough! Muchas Gracias! If you need a plumber you can trust, call APlus. You won't regret it. read more

I called A Plus Plumbing on Friday morning as our water heater stopped working. I did not get through but knew they were on the phone so I figured I would try again in a few minutes. I got a call back from Juan within 5 minutes as he saw that I had called. I explained that our water heater wasn't working and needed to be repaired or replaced (it's really old). Juan said he could come by in about 40 minutes to check out the problem. He showed up on time with another technician and took a look at the water heater. He said it was about 30 years old and should be replaced instead of trying to repair it. He gave us a fair quote and said he could get it done the same day. YAY! He replaced our old water heater, braced it and cleaned up the area. We were super grateful that he was able to get all of the work done the same day so we didn't have to go the whole weekend without hot water. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the East Bay that needs a plumber! read more

I came home after a long day at work and found our only bathroom with water on the floor. Luckily, APLUS PLUMPING is open still 7pm weekdays. I would say Juan completely understands and is capable of doing the plumping work. read more

We had a major drain failure under the house. Several estimates were obtained from other competitors. We also conducted a comprehensive search of local businesses with good reviews, and we chose APlus over all of them. We could not use any of our sinks or laundry, and were in a tough spot coming up on a Holiday (Thanksgiving) week. Juan and team came to us on short notice, and completed the entire job in 2.5 hours. This was while making improvements for us on the design (the original plumbing was from 1961 and needed an entire drain replacement). We can't share enough appreciation for a job well done, and the professionalism and cleanliness and care that was taken during the job. These guys are great, and we highly recommend them. read more

I gave them a small token of appreciation for their time here and if ever I need another plumber, they would definitely be my plumbers of choice. I highly recommend them. read more
