I've used aplus plumbing for several years. I've had my water heater go out, sink disposal repair, drain clogs, eg...A couple of weeks ago, I've had a drain clog in the back part of my house. They uncloggged it but they recommended to change the cast iron pipes that were getting rusty and a 90 degree design that they suspected was the cause. A few days later the clog is back so we opted to change the piping and next day they were back with their team and got the plumbing changed in a few hours and on a Sunday too. Since then, we haven't had a problem. I always use them for my plumbing issues. They are always quick and solve the problem. read more

8 years of issues resolved in under a week, thanks to James and team from APLUS. I have a 100 year old house, so everything that needs fixing is a major challenge. For the past 8 years, I have been trying to resolve my issues. the pipes are old copper pipes that the last home owner cut off into the wall to put in a new sink. It's a farm sink ceramic and from IKEA so it doesn't fit anything standard. The pipe fixtures have been held together with hose clamps and rubber tubes put together by yours truly as an upgrade from the electrical tape work of the original owner. Nobody would touch this pipe work without removing a wall or taking down the tile backsplash. James came over to estimate, the told me they would go under the house, remove the old pipe to the sewer line and reroute through the wall under the sink. YES PLEASE. When? Tomorrow. Ok, I'm 100% in. Comes the next morning, does exactly as promised. The blockage from 100 years of grease was truly disgusting. Flows like a dream now. As I'm telling James my issues, how I can't get anyone to put in a garbage disposal because of the sink. James, right off, ok, I'll do that for you. Get an electrician to wire it, and I'll come install it. NO WAY. ok, I got a guy, let me see when I can get that in (my electrician also a star when it comes to working on old houses). The pipes were replace on Tuesday. My electrician was here on the following Monday. I texted James, ok. The electric is done. James - Ok, I can do this for you this afternoon at 3:30. and he was right on time, put that bad boy in, and replaced the old faucet on the side of the house too. Boom, done in an hour. When I tell you the number of plumbers who would just shake their head and said no, to have James come in and say yes, and you got it, I cannot tell you the level of thrilled I am. Customer for life. A+ to APLUS Plumbing. We called APLUS to clear a sewage drain back-up and Juan was dispatched within 20 minutes. He quickly was able to clear the drain and showed me that the main sewage drain was original cast iron and filled with roots. He was very knowledgeable and shared several options to help us with our issue. We were able to approve repairs that day. Juan then came out a week later after the permits were pulled and was able to resolve our issues quickly and efficiently. The price we paid for repairs was fair for the amount of work he did. What I do appreciate is the time he took to explain the entire process. Juan also offered to take a quick look at my kitchen plumbing and gave me good advice. I wish I could give APlus Plumbing more than 5 stars for fixing an urgent water pressure issue involving my kitchen sink and the copper pipe that connects to my GE refrigerator. Long story short, my GE refrigerator was dispensing water very slowly. I also had almost no water flow from the kitchen sink, thanks to a problem that the GE contractor did when he came to fix the fridge. This GE contractor left me with a fridge that no longer dispensed water and a kitchen sink whose water faucets barely worked. He offered to come back to fix the issues for $300. I was so unhappy with the GE contractor for making things worse that once he left my home, I looked for a plumber on Yelp and found APlus. Within 30 minutes, Juan came to my house and simply cleared the faucet sprayer and replaced the on/off valve for the copper pipe that connects to the fridge. Then water flowed perfectly and strong! This was my second project with them, the first was a leaky faucet and the second was a busted bathtub spout. In both cases they were responsive. Before doing any work they explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. In both cases I am happy with how everything turned out. The quality you can tell is good and everything looked very well put together. In this case the spout was stuck to the pipe and the only way to remove it was to force it thereby warping the pipe in the process. They were able to fix it without repiping the whole thing so thank goodness the job didn't have to be bigger and cost more. read more

APlus Plumbing did solid work. My water heater was leaking through the drain pipe to outside, and my workaround was to turn off the tank and turn on only when needed. Did this for couple days until I got around to looking for a plumber. James and Miguel contacted me back promptly and arrived same day, quickly determined I needed a new water heater (it was 19 years old), and got to work on acquiring the tank and installing it within 2 to 3 hours. APlus came & looked at the job of replacing a toilet. It was determined the size of the base of the toilet was too large for the space where it was currently installed resulting in some minor leakage. He suggested we find one with a smaller base & he left. Within minutes, we measured our downstairs bathroom toilet and it was just the right size for the upstairs space. We messaged him that we'd measured everything & a switch of the 2 toilets would work perfectly & could he come back & do the switch? He said he was already busy for the afternoon & 'didn't do that type of work' & obviously did not seem interested in the job. A plumber that doesn't un-install & install toilets?? I had a solid blockage between the shower and toilet to the septic tank. I called APlus, and 2 Plumbers came out, we walked through the problem and they came up with a solution. When that didn't work, they went to plan B , then C. They kept up after that until they were sucessful, and cleaned the whole system to the septic tank inlet line. Professional, respectful, through, and neat. I can't say it was inexpensive because I've always done my own plumbing work in the past, and have no experience with the pros and what they charge. But, they did the job, and thoroughly. I would call them again if I needed a plumber, and would recommend them to friends. read more

James came out to inspect a water leak in our crawlspace. He identified the problem and gave us recommendations on how to proceed with fixing the problem. Our original plumber who re-piped our supply lines used a PEX material, which failed. Because James does not usually work with these materials, he helped us identify the problem without charging us a diagnostic fee. James recommended using copper lines as the PEX and clamping mechanisms tend to fail more often than welded materials like copper. It's more expensive because it lasts much longer. If you want an honest plumber who knows the best solution with good results for many years to come- James is the guy to go to! read more
