Regal Surfaces & Stone - Nothing holding countertop to cabinet

Google needs to do an update so that you can give ZERO stars, Regal Surface and Stone deservers…read morezero stars. Install was set for Sept 18, 2025- crew had just finished smoking weed when they pulled into my driveway and crank their music very loudly throughout the install. Chipped the countertop and attempted to glue it back together and didn't bother to tell me. Couldn't get Regal to answer or call me back about the matter. Contacted Lowes on Oct 5, 2025 to see if they could help me get this issue resolved because I could not get ahold of Regal. Regal Stone and Surface surprisingly called me back soon after that....they had lost my file... Owner and I agreed they would try to fix the countertop before we jumped to tearing them out and starting over. Crew came to do the repair on Oct 9, 2025. It was the original crew, he walked in my house asked what the issue was pointed out the broken piece and his exact words were oh yea I remember that! So needless to say the repair wasn't great. Fast forward to Nov 21, 2025, I get a call saying they are 10 minutes from my house...NO ONE every told me that they were finally going to come replace the countertop let alone it was scheduled. I work a full time job, I wasn't home nor was my kitchen ready to be completely torn apart again. Went back and forth with Regal and the new date was finally set for Friday Dec 12, 2025. Different crew shows up to my house and starts taking out the old countertop, it's two separate pieces. Crew gets to the piece with my sink and asks if I have another sink...this is a brand new sink that went in with the countertops the first time around why would have I another sink?! I told him no and that no one told me I would need another sink, again its brand new. Crew tried to get the sink off, they ended up taking the countertop piece out to their van with my sink attached and eventually told me that they couldn't get the sink off and if they kept going they were going to break the sink and he didn't want to break it and have to pay for it out of his pocket. He also explained to me that the first crew used the wrong glue and that is why he was having a hard time getting it apart. He tried calling the owner a few times and he didn't answer. So this crew left and I don't have a functioning kitchen because they took my sink and didn't install the new countertops. Monday (12/15/25) comes around and we call for an update and the office lady said the owner is busy but he'll get back to us...no one every called us back on Monday. Tuesday I call and same story the owner is busy, I demanded to talk with him, she put me on hold and tried him twice and said she got no answer either time but that she did notice I was on the schedule for the next Friday Dec 19, 2025. Again no one told me that, so then I asked about my sink...she said it was still attached to the old countertop but that they were going to try to work on that but if they needed to use another sink they would reimburse me for that. I finally did get to talk with the owner Tuesday afternoon, he was very rude told me that they didn't owe me anything and that they are coming back on Friday so I should have nothing to complain about. He continued to belittle me through the whole conversation and said that if I wanted reimbursement for the sink he was going to make me go through Lowe's because he didn't want anything to do with me and the situation. After the owner told me I had to go through Lowes he called my husband a few days later and told my husband they'd refund us the sink along with an extra $300 if we left them a 5 star review...clearly that didn't work out in their favor. I started a case with Lowes, they blew me off for over a month and didn't take care of the situation seriously till I filled a BBB complaint. Within hours of filing the complaint both Lowe's and Regal contacted me to get me reimbursed for the sink.

Overall, we had a positive experience with our roof replacement, but a few issues kept it from…read morebeing excellent. Scheduling was easy, the consultant was on time and prepared, and the quote and financing options were competitive. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the roof quickly, even with two existing layers to remove. We also appreciated the progress photos and prompt follow-up with the invoice, financing paperwork, and final inspection scheduling. Our main concerns were communication, cleanup, and safety. We did not receive a response when we asked for a dumpster delivery time which made planning garage access difficult. We were also told the generator and A/C units would be covered, but they were not. Cleanup during the job was not as thorough as it should have been, with debris blowing into our yard and a neighbor's yard and damage to a security light and gutter flashing. We also observed that no one working on the roof appeared to be using fall protection, which was concerning given OSHA requirements for work over 6 feet. In the end, the roof itself appears to have been installed efficiently and professionally, but better communication, cleanup, and attention to safety would have made the experience much stronger.

Would not recommend this company!…read more I tried contacting Chad who was the project manager on two occasions, and he could not be bothered to return my calls. The first issue was not notifying me that materials would be delivered to the ROOF, which made a considerable racket, and absolutely terrorized my elderly dogs. Every other roof job that I have had, had ground delivery of materials which was not a problem at all. Had I known, I could have removed the dogs from the house prior to delivery and it would have been a non-issue. The second issue was the mess that was left behind. I had to pick up blowing trash from the roof bundles, and we had a littering of roofing nails on our deck, sidewalk, dog kennel, and driveway. We could not even use our driveway for several days, and we still don't, for fear of picking up nails on our tires. These type of issues were never a problem with previous roofing companies, but the fact they seemed unconcerned was really annoying. I have never had a phone call to a service provider go unreturned, so why Chad couldn't take the time to return my calls was a mystery. As a person paying for a service, it was really down right rude, and unprofessional.
