I only needed a special order item for a home repair to our hardwood floors. The first one that I contacted told me that they couldn't get the part that I needed! I next called Floor Coverings International. It was late in the day and they did not pick up. Surprisingly, my phone rang a couple of minutes later! It was FCI calling me back. I explained what I needed and had a quote the next day. I placed the order and the item was delivered the next day! I was notified by text of the status of my order and kept up to date. Exceptional customer service, especially considering that this was a very small order from a new customer and that another distributor didn't want to be bothered with it!

He sent us an invoice very soon after he visited our home. His pricing was very reasonable and he was flexible with timing and payment. We made arrangements for his team to start on our floors the day we left for a weeklong family vacation, which was so convenient. We had been on the road for just a few hours when he texted me with some very troubling photos of what he found underneath the carpet. I was horrified and dreading the discussion of next steps, but Arianit clearly explained our options and the prices for each option. We ultimately chose to repair/replace the damaged wood and the added cost was very reasonable. Throughout the process, Arianit sent us photos of the progress his team was making and kept us updated as the timeline changed with the added repairs. I could tell even before we got home to see the floors in person that we had made the right choice. When we did get home, I was not disappointed at all. Our floors are beautiful and I can't stop looking at them, even five days later. If/when we need to do anything with the rest of the floors in our home, we will be reaching out to NT Hardwood Floors again.

World of Floors caused significant damage during the installation of my carpet…read more First of all, they were careless in not using any protection whatsoever. No tarps to cover areas, no painters tape to tape off moldings, no covers on their boots. just kept wearing their work boots with no covers and walking all over the fresh carpet. I have had other contractors come out, and they always used coverings on their boots, tarps in areas they were walking, working, etc. Now I will discuss the damage they caused - see pictures for more details. Scratches on probably 35% of the moldings. I am not just talking about a scratch here and there. There is one wall where the scratches run down almost the entire length of the wall -see photo. They chipped my fireplace. The put carpet and tools down on the linoleum floor by the front door without putting down a tarp first to protect the floor, which caused significant scratching on the floor. They damaged my wood rocking chair, that was my mother's that she gave me and she is no longer with us. They cracked a molding. I worked in construction for 4 years while in college, and we always took precautions so that we didn't damage the customer's house and furniture. This would include use of tarps covering any areas we would be walking, covers for our boots, and painter's tape when damage to adjacent areas was a concern. THESE GUYS DID NOTHING TO PROTECT THE AREAS THEY WERE WORKING IN. If you have a nice house, with nice furniture, I strongly recommend you find another company that will respect your property. I would hate to see what happened to me happen to you. Edit: In response to the owner's comments below: There is NO WAY I am letting you do any work in my house after the damage you caused. Sorry but that ain't happening. I posted my review so that others can be aware of the issues I had and factor that into their decision on whether or not they want to have you do work in their home. I was actually ready to let the matter drop, but YOU CALLED ME after I posted a negative review. I didn't call you. Maybe you can use this as a learning experience that your workers need more training on how to respect and protect your customers' property.
