Overall, we had a positive experience with our roof replacement, but a few issues kept it from being excellent.

Top Notch from first phone call to project follow up! The Cadillac of Roofers!…read more I heard of Paramount when the owner Eric was on "the inside outside guys" on the radio, and since our roof was 25 years old, I called for a quote. Justin came out last fall to take a look and write up my estimate. He was the ultimate professional: very thorough and informative. ZERO high pressure sales or upselling. He will explain everything in detail (if you want, which I did) without talking down or saying "is your husband here?" The price was $27,000 which IF YOU WANT YOUR ROOF DONE RIGHT TO LAST FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME, is the going rate in 2026! Two other friends got quotes from 2 other companies for EXACTLY the same cost, but I know - and can sleep soundly - that it was done to the utmost perfection. (our roof is huge - a 2,000 SQFT ranch with VERY DEEP eaves, and needed a lot of new, more effective vents installed for circulation). We had to wait for spring to gather our finance and Christina S. kept in touch to assure us that we were first in line when the weather allowed which it did in March. She was so delightful to talk to. Like, I wanna be friends with her, lol! When the weather was scheduled to break, she told us the date and when materials would arrive and how it would all work and pass it off to Evan B., Our fantastic project manager! The crew showed up Friday morning, bright, and early and efficiently had our old roof, torn off and our beautiful new roof installed in one day - albeit a long one for them! There was quite a team here and it was impressive to watch them work! Importantly, they were respectful of our property. They smiled and said hello, and we encountered them and the cleanup was second to none! I have not seen one Nail or one Scrap of anything around the house! I went up into the attic to get something, and it was so comfortable up there, I could tell that the circulation was what it was supposed to be. Not stuffy, not drafty. My husband put in some lighting and boards across the floor, and I feel like I wanna create myself some personal space up there! Lol! Anyway, huge kudos to Paramount roofing and the entire team, everyone with whom we have interacted has been outstanding. Thank you, thank you! Highly recommend! I've printed out and filed our transferable warranty that I am confident (unless mother nature disagrees) we won't be needing!

Your original project total was $24,551. Don had already reduced the price down to $20,893, which was already a savings greater than the $2,500 scratch-off amount. In addition to that, I was able to get approval from my manager for another $1,226 discount specifically because of the miscommunication, bringing your final total down to $19,666.07. So overall, instead of saving $2,500, your total savings came to $4,884.93 off the original price. There was never any intention to be dishonest with you. We were genuinely trying to work with you and reduce the overall cost as much as possible while still doing the project the right way. The main reason I've been trying to connect with you is because I would really like to lock in your current pricing before that happens, if possible. We do have until the end of the day Sunday to secure the current pricing before the increase takes effect Monday morning. I know messages like this can sometimes sound like a sales pitch, and that is honestly not my intention. I simply wanted to be transparent with you about why there is some urgency on my end. If you are still considering moving forward with your project or if you have any remaining questions, please let me know. I'm happy to help in any way I can. You can reply directly to this email or reach me at (248) 232-8459. Thanks, Russ Siler Paramount Roofing

They have to behave like professionals, answer and return calls, know what they're doing, be patient with the consumer and their concerns, as well as have top notch, post installation consumer care. While this in itself should not be an issue except single parents qualify for low income 3 bedroom apartments and then move in their boyfriends, dads, sisters, brothers and cram them all into a 3 bedroom apartment sharing the subsided low rent. Management never enforces the rules on this issue. So while you may be paying top dollar for an apartment here (they are not cheap in view of the run-down condition of the place) you will have the pleasure of living with people who really do not seem to care about their neighbors. The tenants here regularly leave garbage out for days and weeks for the local critters to tear apart and strew all over. Bikes, truck snow tires, kids' toys and even couches picked up from the curb are stored on the patios regularly. Even though there are rules against storing anything on the patios except patio furniture, management never enforces it except when someone complains and they will send the offending tenant a letter but never follow up on it. These problems keep cropping up and makes the place look ghetto and like a refugee camp. Also if you do complain, maintenance and management will let the offending tenant know you complained which only causes problems between the tenants, so I stopped complaining to them and just would leave notes to please take out their garbage. I lived here for years because I love the town of Romeo but finally had to move because of the rundown condition of the complex and my apartment needing updating, needed new roofs, leaking water and repair of plaster and paint. Paint is literally peeling off the building trim. The entrance doors need replacing or at least painting. Signs that are run down by drunk tenants are never replaced. Sprinkler system in our building has been out for 3 years with no plans for repair. They don't seem to have money to repair or replace anything. Maintenance staff is terrible and rude, a bunch of thugs. They only respond to a maintenance request if it is BIG like leaking roofs, fire alarms going off and then fix it half-a--. Personally, I have had water issues in practically every room on and off for years with a 5-gallon bucket nailed to a board in the attic ceiling to catch water from leaks. GREAT FIX. Most of the tenants voice the same complaints but end up staying because of Romeo and the large size of the apartments. There are some nice features in them like washer and dryers, but that is it. Save yourself some aggravation and do not move here.
