The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the roof quickly, even with two existing layers to remove. We also appreciated the progress photos and prompt follow-up with the invoice, financing paperwork, and final inspection scheduling. Our main concerns were communication, cleanup, and safety. We did not receive a response when we asked for a dumpster delivery time which made planning garage access difficult. We were also told the generator and A/C units would be covered, but they were not. Cleanup during the job was not as thorough as it should have been, with debris blowing into our yard and a neighbor's yard and damage to a security light and gutter flashing. We also observed that no one working on the roof appeared to be using fall protection, which was concerning given OSHA requirements for work over 6 feet. In the end, the roof itself appears to have been installed efficiently and professionally, but better communication, cleanup, and attention to safety would have made the experience much stronger.

I really wanted to like these guys and gave them multiple chances to remedy the issues we have with…read moreour gutter installation. They seem like okay dudes, but the quality of the work they do is extremely poor, sloppy, rushed, and not done to any sort of standard. Issues started after the sales meeting where many promises were made and expectations set. They oversold, promised us whatever they thought we wanted to hear, and then proceeded to ignore most of what was discussed when they did the install. After the initial install, there were plenty of issues and we tried to work with them to resolve. We reached out, got the owner to come out himself with a small crew to fix things. However, they managed to fix only 1-2 of the issues all while causing more (damaging roof structure, bending over our newly installed drip edge, constant twisting of shoes on the new shingles). They were in a tremendous rush each time and you could tell they cared very little. The gutter guards they installed don't fit, look horrible (at least they matched the gutters in that way...). No specs seem to have been followed. We had insane pitch that is an eye sore, extra holes for downspouts, an upper gutter that just release straight into the lower roof (already was causing noticeable wear on the shingles). Ice dams were going to wreak havoc this winter if we left it alone. We made the mistake of paying the bill before all issues were resolved and have not heard from them since. Avoid these guys at all costs--They may not scam you but if this is how they operate, then others have been scammed, too. We ended up moving past J and A, as they struggled to get it done and had to pay a second company to come out to fix the problems. Things are SIGNIFICANTLY better now after they fixed it (gracefully with no charge as we are having them do some other work in our yard). Thank God so we don't have to continue back and forth with J and A. Long story short, just spend a bit more money and get someone that knows what they are doing. Do not trust the salesman. If you do go with them, do not pay until the job is done correctly or you will be ignored. Edit to add a photo of the botched hangers (similar to some other reviews here, definitely a pattern and wanted to make sure to provide as much info as possible for potential customers). Just don't pay until you are happy or you will be fixing things yourself. They were responsive and easy to work with until the moment we paid.

It all started when Jake (owner) came to give me a price quote on a Friday at about 3pm and told me I would have the quote before he left the office that day, and sure enough I received it by 730pm. The three companies I requested quotes from took a week, and one I never even got a quote from. The crew was great! Very professional and friendly. They were sure to clean up everyday before they left the job site, and did a thorough cleaning of my yard upon completion of the job.
