Normally I don't go to any auto body shops alone because of how women are treated. But yesterday my grandfather as well as my mechanic were busy so I figured I can grab the parts on my way home from work. I was told by Ronald or Donald, that they only have the fender but the bumper would still be out of stock for the next few weeks. I asked him did he think I should wait on the bumper so that I can purchase both parts at one time. He told me that the company didn't care whether I bought the parts are not, that it wasn't going to hurt their feelings. I was so utterly confused by this comment because I asked a valid question. I'm not sure if he was trying to impress another man that came in that he was friends with, but he just was so rude. All he needed to let me know, was that I have the choice of waiting on the other part to purchase both, but by that time the part may be gone. It's that simple. Why bring up anything about me hurting your feelings when it was SUPPOSED to be a place of business. My dad was livid when I told him about my experience because he always gets my parts from the location in Hazelwood. He also tried to offer me a job after talking to me with such disgust and rudeness. I wouldn't dream of working in a place like that alongside a person like that !! On my last appointment they ended up fixing my 2 recalls, installing new front brakes, changing some fluids and cleaning and servicing my sunroof (old car and I don't want to end up with leakage). The work was performed in a timely manner and the communication from the advisor was great. The only thing I didn't love was that I was working with my Quick Service advisor and then there were changes when I got to the other Advisor (for more complex problems). They took good care of me, but I would have preferred just working with the 2nd person from the go so I knew what the options were. If you are waiting there they have multiple waiting areas, all very clean. They provide charges for your electronics as well as water, coffee and ICE CREAM. But then the other side chipped, it's just thin plastic. An elderly neighbor of his was walking by with his dog and he offered his help. These two men tried for about 20 minutes. With the little plates and screws falling behind the bumper and needing to bang them out. Then they tried to silicone on another plate. No success. So the old man told me to go to an auto store and get the little plates So here I am. Heather helped me find the license plate hardware I desperately needed.
