I arrived at this business looking for a cover for my truck bed. Not really sure what to look for and thinking the staff will live up to their name "Pur-performance" can assist me in finding what would work best for me and my truck, upon walking into the business I was not greeted by any of the four employees, talking amongst each other standing behind the counter as I stood standing directly in front of the counter, not wanting to be rude I didn't interrupt them, one of them eventually ask what I wanted, I said what I was looking for and he directed me to the rear of the store, where I found on my own bed covers, waiting for what seemed several minutes fof someone to assist, after a long while I eventually went back to the front of the store to get someone to help, where the same 4 employees were still conversing. Finally the younger of the 4 walked to the back of the store, I expressed my annoyance of having to wait. My initial impression of this business is they lack the understanding of good customer service, it seemed their personal conversation between the 4 of them superceded any customer in close proximity. I did not feel welcome as a customer about to spend well over $1000.00, I didn't expect my butt to be kissed, but I did count on some type of customer service. I took my truck here to have some work done. They didn't repair the things they said they were. They had my truck for weeks and just let it sit. I had to drive back up there just to check on my truck while they had it. Had to take the truck back still didn't fix what they needed to and they bent my trucks frame. Denied it, then said they didn't feel comfortable making the necessary repairs. The owner is the problem and the staff is the worst. IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE DO NOT TAKE IT HERE! The professionalism of this place is beyond horrible. The manager is rude when addressing customers issues even if it's their fault. I was newly transitioned from the US Airforce, scheduled to move to Texas at the end of September of 2020. I went into this establishment with no knowledge of window tint and asked for them to look up the Texas regulations for window tinting. The lady looked them up and told me they would apply the tint according to the regulations. It's been about 8 months and it's about time for my vehicle inspection to be done. I went to get the vehicle inspection done and I was told the window tint is incorrect. When I informed Pur Performance the wrong tint was put on. they told me it's nothing they can do because I am here in Texas and they are in Missouri. But if I drove 9 1/2 to 10 hours, to come back to Missouri they can redo it. So they would prefer I lose work. It is costing me $150 here to have my windows redone,because my registration renewal is in June. But they are choosing not to reimburse me as of right now. As of this moment I wouldn't this place to any military or anyone otherwise. Also I will be reporting them to the Better business bureau. read more

Bought four Toyo all terrains. Cost me 680 out the door and had to wait two hours after being 15 minutes early to my APPOINTMENT. Should have ordered through wall mart would have saved over 200. bought a undercover truck cover from PUR Performance and got it painted to match my truck from Elite Customs which was $600 for a 5ft-8 inch cover and should have been $400 to $450 they ripped me there for sure anyway they installed the cover on my truck and two days later when I went to lift the truck cover it went sideways and moved 6 inches on my truck, are you serious. It got the paint on my $50.000 truck. I brought my truck to Kevin the owner of PUR Performance and showed him my truck and said hey this shouldn't be coming loose ever. Kevin just kept saying I install these all the time he never came up with a reason why the truck cover came loose and I told him the C Clams where Chinese junk and the only way I would feel convertible with this cover is to drill holes so the c clamps cant move if holes are drilled and bolts installed. Kevin dont give a shit about my truck getting damaged and didnt care that I was having problems with the truck cover coming loose, now I paid to have this professionally installed and Kevin gave me the phone number to UNDERCOVER to who I contacted and sent them pictures and they just ignored me even when I emailed them begging for help with their truck cover, UNDERCOVER TRUCK covers are made in Springfield MO and they will not help you if you have any problem with their truck cover to beware. I honesty would pull my eyes out before ever doing business with PUR Performace again they dont care about customers especially if you have a problem with a product or service with them,, I paid these guys for the truck cover and over priced paint job and now I have spent 3 hrs messing with the junk truck cover because the c clamps dont hold I had to drill holes with bolts, didnt I pay to have this installed hmmmm Everyone meaning Kevin owner at PUR Performance and Elite Customs and Undercover truck cover are all passing the buck no one wants to take responsibility and just expect me to fix this myself,, should see them all get quite when I show them where my paint is messed up on my two week old 2021 GMC truck from the truck cover moving and damaging my truck. Bottom line. Pur Performance does good work, however, you are paying for it and in fact you are over paying for it. I had them perform a lift on my 2015 Jeep and I paid way more than I needed to. You can easily compare prices for services and after market mods...which I didn't do...I merely went with the referral I was given. My advice, check their quote against Axle Boy and Hellbent...both these companies do just as good a work, but at a much more reasonable price. If you have money to burn then Pur Performance is right up your alley. If you want value, look elsewhere. Best of luck. read more

Selection selection selection... I will admit, I did find a cheaper price elsewhere but it was competitive. I spent 3k on wheels and tires for my truck. Found another for $2850, but when it comes down to it pur performance helped with the correct offset for the look I wanted. They spent a lot of time helping me choose a style that jumped out to me not what they wanted to flip. They ordered a custom set of Fuel wheels and worked with my time standards for install. Paul even put off his lunch to get them done. I did feel bad he had to eat cold Jack n the Box but the customer service is unparalleled. Brought them my almost brand new truck to have them install an aftermarket part. Got the truck back and noticed it was leaking, looked under the truck and found that the tech had broken a bolt off and used RTV (gasket maker) to plug up that hole and on the bottom of the diff to try and stop the leak. I had them fix it but the whole time it was excuses as to why it was done this way. If it was not for Shelby, I would be a whole lot more upset. They fixed the issue (s) but if I had not brought it to their attention they would not have let me know. Even the tech knew he broke the bolt and it was leaking but still let the truck leave the shop. Overall: Shelby is helpful, but the owner does not feel like other peoples time is worth while. Comes off as if you are trying to get something for free and treats you like the issues THEY CAUSED are no big deal. I paid for it to be done right the first time. I spent a lot of time running my truck back and forth to the shop to have them fix the damage they caused. read more

I had these guys put on "new" tires that they sold me (ended up being used and the WORST tires i've EVER had) and his "techs" (if that's what you want to call them) DAMAGED my wheels, all four of them!! It was the heavier set guy that works in the back. He got mad because i asked him to put black weights on so he mounted the tires on very poorly resulting in obvious damage. apparently they don't even order the black weights, they actually spray them with black paint from a can. Privately owned so good luck with any dispute. Paul Perez also profiled me because i am young and was wearing a hoodie. he treated the older people with wayyyyyy more respect than he did me. He also claimed that there is no such thing as Lifetime Alignment at other stores, however if you go to Plaza Tires they DO offer lifetime alignment and in fact i have gotten my truck aligned twice w/out being charged again.DO NOT GO HERE!!
