The parking is limited and can be quite difficult to get to the shop with the road construction going on. However, the coffee is worth the headaches. I ordered Tahini Date Steamer and it was nothing I have ever had before. I loved everything about my coffee and I would highly recommended if you like dates! The inside was cute and even has a store front for organic items and wine/beer. I would defiantly check out this store if you live around town! The customer service was great. Shout out to the workers for being incredibly friendly.
Cutest little shop to pop into and order a drink. Impressive tea menu including matcha and of course coffee. There was a little patio that we enjoyed since we had our dogs with us! So many things to look at inside and very artfully arranged. We got a coffee and matcha which were both very good and took them over to the park for a walk.
What a cute coffee shop and market. Literally a go-to place for personal gifts. Such as chocolate, cigars, wine, and cards. You can buy cheese and meat. The coffee shop has great sandwich options and coffee/tea. There are a few seating locations inside and a larger patio outside. AO&Co is a little hidden but it is definitely a gem once you adventure inside. 100 percent recommend for those who wander.

It's a quaint little market with a solid liquor selection, and tons of local provisions. It is very much italian influenced with lots of amari and pastas/sauces/charcuterie. The back section is a coffee shop with a great selection of small pastries and breakfast bites. I love the decor. It has industrial influence with pops of vibrant color. A super beautiful space. They do not have a huge liquor selection, but what they do offer is quality. Tons of great vermouths, some solid agave selections, and of course: amaro. They even have a little tasting room. It looks like they may have classes in them. The coffee was super solid. They sell coma beans so I am assuming they are pumping out coma roasts as well. The workers were super nice, energetic, and happy to help all of the patrons. Ao and co is going to be a must stop when in the area. There is something for everyone from 9-90!
Popped over to this clean, aesthetic little spot after grabbing bread from Union Loafers across the street. It's in such a cute area -- there's even an Airstream outside selling adorable stationery. Inside, they've got pottery for sale, a nice selection of sandwiches that all looked delicious, and even some groceries, beer, and wine for sale. I ordered the matcha, which was super fresh and came out quick, considering there was no one else in there on this midweek morning.
This place has quite a variety of different options such as desserts, coffee, sandwiches alcohol and grocery items. We brought sandwiches. The sandwiches are fairly price. The staff were nice. Overall if wanting something in a crunch, this is the place to go.

I ordered a prosciutto fig and Brie pretzel bun sandwich and a ham egg and cheese on croissant, as well as a cappuccino with cardamom sauce and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was made in store which was great. The fig and Brie sandwich was a little underwhelming, not super flavorful. And a little overpriced in my opinion. The croissant ham sandwich though was really tasty, I'd recommend getting that one! The coffee was good, the cardamom syrup was delicious. The cookie was also PHENOMENAL. When I went, the place was POPPIN and they were short staffed, so they got my order mixed up with someone else's. But they were able to fix it quickly and we got everything we ordered, just a little messy making sure we got our food. Space is also a bit small and only a few tables to eat, so better to take it to go if you can.
I stopped by AO&Co. before heading to work one morning. This place has little bits of everything! * Coffee shop * Mini Food market * Wine, Liquor, and Cigar Room * Coma Coffee products * Olio & Elaia First things first.... need to get my caffeine fix! What is this I see....Creamsicle Latte? Whaaaat? So....It was between Creamsicle latte or Ube latte. I just had to try Creamsicle though because I can't find this anywhere else, whereas Ube, there are few other places! It was interesting! I didn't fully like the Creamsicle latte, but I didn't dislike it either. It was very creamy like the inside of a creamsicle and sweet like the citrus. However, it was nice to fully taste the espresso, too. A little addicting! I have to go back for the Ube latte though because that also looked delicious. For breakfast, I ordered their Volpi Heritage Proscuitto + French Brie + Fig Preserve sandwich. To be completely honest, it was a bit underwhelming for such a long name and the price. It had a very thin slice of Proscuitto and Brie. It felt like I was eating mostly bread with Fig jam. Overall, it was such a cool spot to check out! Love that they have a convenient parking lot! :)
What a cute place!! We stopped in across the street, saw AO&Co, & decided to pop in on a Saturday afternoon (& im so glad we did!). This store is amazing! Their staff was very kind & friendly. The store was clean & organized very well. They have unique cheeses, liquors, seltzer waters, & random items you might not know you need until you see it! On Saturday afternoons they have a wine tastings. We were able to try 4 different wines. We walked around the store & found some super unique cheeses (espresso lavender cheese?!). We made a mental list of things we wanted & told one of the staff members who was helpings us that we would be back the following day on our way out of town (& with our cooler). The next day we made our way back to AO&Co. Grabbed our cheeses & some coffee from the coffee shop. I definitely recommend trying the Rishi Tumeric Ginger Chai latte! I've never tasted anything like it. So delightful & so different. I cannot wait to visit STL again simply because I cannot wait to go back to AO&Co.
I like the shop and the concept but the prices! My goodness. $21 for a small jar of stuffed chili peppers (I love the Trader Joe's version and they are 1/5 the price). And a $12 bag of potato chips. I was over $70 deep in 4 non alcoholic items. Stick to their to-go food items. They are at least reasonable ($10 for a thing of dip). Update: mannn I got duped. What I thought were $21 cheese stuffed pepper are actually stuffed with tuna! No where on the jar is that labeled. Who wants run and rice filled peppers?!! Ugh!
What an incredible little spot!! The coffee was delicious. I asked them to make a speciality iced latte with date syrup (not strictly on the menu) and the barista didn't hesitate to accommodate! She was great and the resulting concoction was amazing. Also love all the little items in the shop!
Clean space with lots to shop around but didn't quite scratch my itch. Came in looking for a fresh croissant sandwich and baked good like almond croissant or sticky bun. They had what looked like, from frozen croissant Sammy's. I ordered the egg & Gruyère & prosciutto (hot and delicious and good size!) and asked if they had any other sweets as all I saw were cookies. She said they get a shipment on Thursdays so they don't have any right now :/

I visit here weekly. I love taking a long walk on the weekend as the weather allows and making this my destination. I always come through the shoppe side, see what new food stuffs and nibbles they have here; they even have gluten free pastas and sauces available; in addition to their wide assortment of meats, cheeses, sauces, wines, liquors, drinks, cigars and the list goes on. Being an iced coffee fan I can drink theirs without any added sugar, it's that smooth! I picked up a hunk of the carrot cake they had there for my mom and dad as a treat and they almost fought over the last bite! The entire neighborhood around this place is coming up-- you have to stop by here at least once. You won't regret it. read more
There is a lot of road construction right now in that area so it may be a bit challenging to get there and park, but it's worth it. There is street parking and a private lot behind the building. There are 2 entrances, one is directly into the cafe and the other is into the market. There is very limited seating inside. Most seating is outside on their flower-laden patio. Service was friendly, warm and helpful. I felt like a valued customer. Unfortunately the drink I wanted to try was the tahini date steamer but it wasn't available today as they were out of dates. I chose the herbal hibiscus elixir iced. It tastes like you are drinking a flower because you are, and it's full of antioxidants. The market has a lot of "foodie" finds like wine, special sauces, specialty cheese, smoked fish and house-made Mediterranean spreads. I'm interested in trying the canned cocktails. They are 24% ABV and cost $7. I will be back! read more

AO&Co. is a great spot to stop in a grab any number of different things from the grocery side, perishable and non-perishable as well as a bakery treat, lots of coffee and tea choices, and a great little room with wine and spirits. This time in, I grabbed a dozen eggs and tried a hot brown sugar and date latte. It was so good! Not sure I have had dates in my coffee before; it was very tasty and not too sweet. They carry different house made cold items if the Baba ghanoush is available, I recommend it. Always friendly staff can and do answer questions you might have, overall, a great little spot. read more

This was my second time checking this place out! The first time I came to see the market area which is super cool. Lots of local items to choose from and a variety of options from pastas to wines and non alcoholic options as well. Today I came for the coffeeshop aspect and the indoor seating is pretty limited, only two small tables, but there is tons of outdoor seating. I ordered a lavender shrub which tasted kind of like a lavender kombucha would and was super refreshing! The staff was nice both times and offered to ask any questions I had about the market items and got my drink out quickly at the coffeeshop :) would recommend coming here for a casual coffee stop with friends but maybe not the best place to work/study because of the limited seating read more
Came here for lunch today and it was super tasty! I originally entered through the market area, and then made it back to the food/coffee. In the market area, they have all kinds of provisions to really elevate any occasions. Delicious, high quality, food, snacks, ingredients, and drinks. On my way back to the coffee bar, I passed the cigar area. I know close to nothing about cigars, but with the vibes of the place, I can imagine they're high quality. They had a ton of options. The coffee bar in the back is a tight squeeze, but I think that's part of the appeal of the spot: quaint. I ordered a Turkey sandwich with caramelized onions and cheese (the cheese had a fancy name and I can't remember it) and a Topo Chico water with lime. There were a few people in front of me so I had to wait a bit for my sandwich to be heated up. No problem, it was lunch time. I took my water and sandwich out to the patio to eat. The patio is so lovely! Lots of chairs and couches to sit. Umbrellas for shade. There was a breeze so it was super nice. I had only gotten coffee here before so I was happy to try the food! read more
Popped into this cute shop/coffee spot for an after lunch exploration! The shop is full of delicious gastronomic delicacies from wine to tinned gourmet snacks. This place would be great for filling out your charcuterie board. After browsing I grabbed a hibiscus tea and still-warm croissant-style cinnamon tea roll. Both were delicious! The staff were also very helpful, happy to answer all our questions and friendly! Would definitely recommend. There is street parking nearby and serval gourmet restaurants make this neighborhood worth a visit! read more

This was my first time venturing into AO+Co after much interest for months and seeing it on Instagram. It really did not disappoint. It's a very cute marketplace that offers a variety of different items, including a lot of local delights! I talked a while with the barista and learned a lot about some of their plans for the summer! I was very excited to find the Lobos brand that my favorite basketball player, LeBron James owns. read more

I'm obsessed with this boutique food store, I visit almost every week! In addition to exploring their cheese section (which is always really unique and tasty), they have a curated liquor/wine area, delicious food from local restaurants including Olio and Nixta, and yummy random treats along the way. They also have a wonderful cafe attached with one of the best chocolate chip cookies in town! Definitely get the Olio Egg Salad and Pita when you're there, you won't regret it. read more
Such a lovely coffee place in the Botanical heights neighborhood. There is plenty of outdoor seating if it's nice outside! What I ordered: I always get an iced coffee here, but their selection is extensive! They have a couple of non-dairy options if that's your thing! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is sometimes the service is rather slow. Don't get me wrong, they are all super nice, just kind of slow sometimes. read more

The barista was knowledgeable and friendly, gave me a great, honest recommendation for a breakfast sandwich and was quick despite being the only person working. The food was amazing (buttery croissant, sauce and Gruyere combo was great) and tasted like great quality. The mini market was adorable and stocked with cool food and home finds, I could've spent all day there. There wasn't a ton of seating inside, but it wasn't an issue when I was there, and honestly I wouldn't sacrifice some of the space that held the inventory for it. Elevated vibes here for sure, excited to bring family from out of town! read more

What an awesome market. Fresh baked bread, wine, spirits, cigars, plentiful gourmet food selection including lots of Vegan options. I could spend an entire afternoon there. Super friendly service. The focaccia bread was so fresh & yummy. read more
I mean this place has the best coffee on this side of town. Their seasonal flavors are always delicious and their sandwiches are just hot and flavorful. We even had a chocolate chip cookies with sea salt and it was made perfectly. I love this place. read more

Nice new market and cafe in Botanical Heights. It's a new Ben Poremba venture. On one side it's a specialty grocer and the other a cafe. The market has specialty olive oils, cheese, and dips from some of Ben's restaurants. Read: OLIO'S HUMMUS. There is a cigar shop in the back. I wouldn't know, but it seems like they carry some really nice ones. The cafe is partnering with Kaldis and is tea forward. On my visit today I had fresh squeezed orange juice, a croissant (from La Patisserie Crouquette), and a to die for chai latte. Alexa, the barista was super helpful and brought out my order on a very cute tray with awesome presentation. I believe they are going to start doing cocktails soon, too. That's going to be really fun especially with their outdoor lounge/ seating area. Don't wait, go! read more

I received a gift card from this place for my birthday so I came in and got forty-something dollars worth of items--like truffle cheddar cheese, soft provolone cheese, flax crackers, cute foodie cards, almond croissant, and sticky pecan bun. Additionally, on another occasion I came in for a latte and that was really good. I don't think I would come again to buy anything because the price point it too high and the items sold here appeal to a specific niche, rather than having a variety of items that are appealing to everyone. I love how they collaborate with Kaldis because that means top notch coffee. Kaldis has a dark, rich, chocolate-y coffee so some of my friends don't like it. But I personally love it. They also have Kaldis teas and chai tea in bulk if you wanted some for home. They have a huge cigar section and some alcohol selections which I didn't get to look at much. But I love the concept. read more
