Cute atmosphere, smells great! My friend got the salmon tostadas and said they were great. The horchata is amazing. Service was good too!

I'm located in DC, and I visit Spearfish often. I travel a lot for food, but what if I told you their green chili enchilada is my favorite Mexican dish in the country?

We had pork carnitas and chips and salsa and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Our server was a really nice young woman.

If you find yourself in the small, yet absolutely beautiful town of Spearfish, you have to stop by Antunez after a day of enjoying the stunning nature surrounding the town. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy with not too much seating but that should not be a problem as the town of Spearfish is relatively small. From the wait staff to the furnishing to the lighting, Antunez has a homey yet professional feel to it. Now on to the important part, the food! I ordered the dry aged buffalo ribeye and just wow. The waitress recommended it to be cooked "medium". I normally like my steaks cooked medium rare but I trusted her and glad I did. It was cooked perfectly and the sides complemented the steak fantastically. Service was top notch as well. Good job y'all! I can't wait to go back when I inevitably find myself back in Spearfish!

Awesome service and meal. We were seated at the bar (yes, they maximize their table space because the place is so small. If you don't have four in your party, you aren't going to be seated at a 4-person table even if one is available. Know this going in and bite your tongue). On to the food. Guacamole is to die for. So good and we devoured the bowl. Used the cucumbers to scrape every little bit. Next it was in to the entrees. The three of us split a very flavorful strip steak with rice and pinto beans. It was cooked to perfection. We also shared four tacos--carnitas and chicken that also came with rice and beans. They were all so good. Before we left, we bought four chorizo breakfast burritos to go and two truffles. This is the best place to eat in Spearfish. They focus on organic, farm to table type of ideology, which we live. Fresh, wholesome ingredients with no chemicals or preservatives. If you are in Deadwood or Spearfish, put Antunez on your to do list.

Really solid food coupled with personable service made for a great meal. The salsa is super fresh, flavorful and not spicy , and served in a ginormous bowl (I had leftovers) with crunchy chips. Carnitas were tender and portions were large - I left super full.

    Guacamole!

Attitude of servers. Seem more fixated on making tips. Better to order takeout and not tip.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Deadwood…read more My wife and I stumbled upon this incredibly unique and peaceful wine house just steps away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Deadwood--and what a discovery it was. In a city known for its casinos and saloons, this beautifully restored home offers an entirely different kind of experience: one centered around relaxation, quality, and taste. Housed in a gorgeously maintained historic property, this spot features multiple cozy rooms filled with elegant furnishings and stained glass windows, along with spacious porches both upstairs and downstairs where you can unwind with a glass or bottle of wine. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit. The wine selection is top-tier and surprisingly affordable, especially for South Dakota. They offer a solid list of wines by the glass or bottle, but also have a curated room filled with exceptional bottles from around the world--at prices that beat anything else we saw in the area, whether in Custer or Deadwood. You can enjoy your wine there (with a small corkage fee) or take it home. To complement the wine, they serve thoughtfully arranged charcuterie boards featuring a variety of cheeses, fruits, and other healthy bites. You can also add sliced salami to customize your board further to enhance the experience. This isn't your typical restaurant or wine bar--it's more like being invited into someone's beautifully curated home for a relaxing afternoon or evening. It's a peaceful, upscale oasis in a town that can sometimes feel a little wild. Highly recommended if you're looking for something refined, memorable, and just a short stroll from the main strip.

Apparently, they don't serve actual wedges because it causes too much waste. The owner agreed they need to change the name of the salad. My beet salad was tasty. Now after waiting 50 minutes with only one other couple in the restaurant, our entrees were served. They should have some games to play at the table for the long wait times. We were actually planning to order dessert but ran out of time. My salmon was cooked very well and tasted fresh. My husband's vegetable lasagna was saved by the mushroom gravy otherwise it lacked flavor.
