Housed in a gorgeously maintained historic property, this spot features multiple cozy rooms filled with elegant furnishings and stained glass windows, along with spacious porches both upstairs and downstairs where you can unwind with a glass or bottle of wine. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit. The wine selection is top-tier and surprisingly affordable, especially for South Dakota. They offer a solid list of wines by the glass or bottle, but also have a curated room filled with exceptional bottles from around the world--at prices that beat anything else we saw in the area, whether in Custer or Deadwood. You can enjoy your wine there (with a small corkage fee) or take it home. To complement the wine, they serve thoughtfully arranged charcuterie boards featuring a variety of cheeses, fruits, and other healthy bites.
