This place has been on our radar for a while 'cause of all the great reviews. My wife got the chicken fajita quesadilla and enjoyed it....I helped her eat it. I had the Alambre, a grilled mix of beef fajita, bacon, chorizo, ham, onions and melted cheese, the plate came with 5 sets of doubled street corn tortillas. The young man that owns this business brought three different salsas, two red and one green, all tasty and they had a range of spiciness. I noticed a USMC plaque on the wall, I asked the owner if he's a veteran, he was and I thanked him for his service. We bought a grilled pork torta and took it to our son, he loved it and it was big enough to share with his wife. We'll definitely be back. read more

I've been to Antojos Locos twice: both for lunch as this fast-casual Mexican restaurant is located close to my mechanic. Located on a corner right next to Beltway 8, you'll find an assortment of tacos, tortas, agua frescas, and more. The restaurant isn't large but there are eight or so booth to sit at. My first time around, I ordered a couple of street tacos. I always order my tacos without onions because I hate onions (with the exception of green onions). When I received my order, there were onions. I brought this up to the owner with the cowboy hat who was working the register at the time and he asked me if I told him no onions. I replied that I did and he seemed skeptical. As if he was placing the blame on me rather than taking accountability. They ultimately took care of it but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. The easiest way to reduce the risk of this happening is to repeat a customer's order. The second time around, I just had an agua fresca. They're a little expensive but it's a large cup and it's fresh. While I've had a hiccup or two at this no-frills Mexican joint, the food is solid. read more

We came here since we were in the area and craving authentic Mexican street food. Let me say this: I am Mexican, born and raised in Mexico City, so I know authentic Mexican food when I taste it. This place has the taste (and the portions!) of Mexico City! We had the "Torta Caribeña" which was delicious! My girlfriend could only finish half of hers and I'll probably won't be able to eat again for a couple days because they are pretty massive! Excellent value for your money and the service is attentive, kind, friendly and eager to please. They asked us several times if everything was to our liking and were prompt in making everything from scratch. The place was very clean, observed all regulations for COVID-19 and overall provided a great experience! Give this place your business. They have your favorite food truck street tacos & elotes with a store front. And great serving sizes too. I ordered the beef tacos but i subbed 2 for the pastor. I also got a shrimp and shredded chicken taco. Yall!! Both the shredded chicken and the shrimp were soo good!! I got full off of those 2 and 1 pastor (which was great as well) and my cup of elote. The elote is big enough to split between a family. She was kind to layer the corn and toppings for me! Their mix seasoning is pretty good. You only need a little of it! She also recommended me to try their jamaica hibiscus which was so flavorful and refreshing! I'm hooked! When I'm back on this side of town I will be visiting again. I have been driving by here every day on the way to work and go ally had a day where I could try it. The place wasn't too crowded and was very clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. I ordered the La Villa Torta with chorizo and the Los Tacos pastor (5 mini tacos). She gave me red sauce with it. When I got home, I couldn't wait to try them. The portions were very generous. I ate half of each. The red sauce was really hot, which I appreciated. A lot of times hot sauce isn't really spicy. Everything tasted great. You wouldn't expect so much from this little hole in the wall but this is a great place to get a lot of good food for a good price. I have gone so far twice and both times the employees and owner and very friendly and efficient. They make you feel right at home the minute you walk in. The "Tripitas" tacos are very good with their Spivey sauce but if you are a sandwich lover then you need to come in and get their " La Española " the sandwich is massive and tastes amazing. I wanted to wait to write this review until after i tried the food (ordered to go) because i was extremely dissatisfied with wait time and customer service. I arrived at 1040am ( well after they opened at 10am).  Two young girls were behind the counter prepping, applying foil to grill etc.. neither lady greeted me. I stood at the counter looking stupid for at least 3 minutes until i asked if they were open. They really didnt seem to have any interest in serving me until an older lady arrived (owner?)and another customer arrived.  After 20 minutes, the lady handed my to go order...no thank you or anything.  As far as food...pretty tasty. Flautas were fresh, flavorful.  Pambaza was huge and ok. I had a hard time distinguishing the sandwich filling..potatoes, meat, cheese? Nevertheless, it was good. Unfortunately, the food is not good enough to compensate for their  lack of friendliness or customer service. Yesterday was the 2020 Cinco de Mayo. I ate a TacoBell cheap Burrito.I decided to eat more authentic tacos. I found here after I finished my Uber job. The menu was Spanish. It seemed that here was a hangout place for Mexicans. Everyone was surprised at "Chino" (Asian). Abraham and others were nice.I ordered Pollo(Chicken) tacos for $7.50.Abraham gave me some chips and water. Mucha Gracious Amigo. It took 15 minutes. It was slower than the TacoBell.I understood that here was a very authentic restaurant. They had to take time. I brought my tacos to my home. I ate it with Corona beer. It was so great!
