The one by the Walmart was more crowded than the other, but worth the wait if needed. The other location, I do not plan on going back even though it is a lot closer to my house. (I'd give that location one 2-3 stars) They were a lot more friendly and willing to make adjustments to your meal. I'm on a limited carb diet, and they have this monster Burrito with a cheese tortilla. Yum!! It was huge, more than enough for one meal (the portion by the fan were smaller). It comes with tater tots and barbecue sauce, which they were willing to put on the side. (The one in the fan "forgot") The waitress was extremely helpful, and said I could order other tacos with a cheese tortilla next time I visited. (Sadly my second visit was to the one in the fan, and they didn't care enough to even tell me they couldn't... which I was even willing to pay extra for?????) I plan on going back to the one by the Walmart soon, it was busy but worth the wait.

We were starving and wanted some left overs. Ended up ordering online 2 orders of 15 wings, 30 total. We were able to divide each order into two different sauces giving us 4 different sauce tossed wings. Absolutely incredible wings. The wings had a ton of meat on them, we were able to ask for all flats for a small fee which was awesome, they're our favorite. They were ready as soon as I walked in the door. Maybe a 15-20 minute tops turnaround on the online order. We got: -Kickin Cowboy (Honey BBQ) -Truffalo (Truffled Buffalo) -Vampire Parm (Garlic Parmesan) -K-Town Rolex (Korean BBQ) -The ranch was in larger to go cups than I was expecting so I was really able to give these wings a ranch bath, didn't run out of it. Every single one of those sauces was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for some great wings. 10/10 experience would recommend to anyone I know!

This is a no-frills, hole-in-the-wall spot serving New Orleans-style fried wings, po' boys, and other comfort food. We got a bunch of stuff: - Crowd Pleaser (with fried fish, wings, Cajun fries, egg fried rice): The fish & wings were crispy perfection & still super juicy. We had them with the two most popular sauces- Mambo and sriracha aoili, both were delicious. The fries & fried rice were classic- the person working recommended eating the rice with a sweet sauce I don't remember the name of and gave it to us without any additional cost, which was so nice. - Shrimp Po' Boy: Again, fried & seasoned to perfection! - Chicken Banh Mi: This is a great option if you're wanting to avoid fried foods! Loved the refreshing veggies (cucumber, carrot, jalapeño) & creamy aioli. I do think it was missing pâté though. - Gumbo: Super comforting. Ambiance isn't really applicable since Manchu is take out only (there are some seats for waiting). Service was great, very friendly & fast. There is a free parking lot right next to the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

We Tried Almost Everything and It Was Friggin' Amazing!!…read more I always say the true test of fresh food is how long it lasts before spoiling or before I finish it (don't judge me, I'm a picker). The fries and chicken wings were even better cold, in my opinion. And then, on the third day, after warming them in the air fryer, they were still amazing. I froze the limeade, and I'm going to suggest they start freezing the juices--it made all the difference! It was so refreshing! 6/5 Stars - A Life-Changing, Taste-Bud-Tingling, Food Truck Extravaganza! I just indulged in the most unforgettable, jaw-dropping, and downright sinful food truck experience at [Anarchy XMM](https://www.instagram.com/anarchyxmm/), and I'm still reeling from the unadulterated bliss! Their new specialty sandwich, the "We Hungry AF" (a nod to the Richmond VA blogging team @we_hungryaf), is a CULINARY MASTERPIECE that will leave you weak in the knees and begging for more. Now, onto the main event! Imagine sinking your teeth into a succulent, expertly seasoned Jerk Fried Chicken Breast, its crispy exterior giving way to a juicy, tender interior that simply melts in your mouth. This majestic masterpiece is nestled between a sweet, fluffy, and crispy Ube Waffle (aka Purple Deception), its deep purple hue a harbinger of the flavor explosion to come. The waffle's subtle sweetness perfectly balances the savory, aromatic spices of the jerk chicken, creating a match made in heaven. But that's not all--this gastronomic symphony is elevated by a trio of sauces that will leave you singing: the creamy, tangy Matouk's, the smoky, spicy Jerk BBQ, and the sweet, velvety Yum Yum. The combination is pure MAGIC, a harmonious balance of flavors that will leave you wondering how you ever lived without it. (Pro tip: go for all three sauces if you can handle a slight kick, or ask for no Matouk's if you're a spice newbie--but trust me, the heat is worth it!) And just when you thought it was all about the sandwich, the supporting cast of flavors steals the show: the crunchy, peppery Spring Mix adds a delightful textural contrast, while the thinly sliced Tomato provides a burst of juicy freshness. But the true MVP is the Fried Sweet Plantain, its crispy exterior and fluffy interior a masterclass in texture and flavor. This sweet, sweet plantain is the unsung hero that balances out the heat, leaving you with a delightful tingling sensation that will leave you craving more. But wait, there's more! The mac and cheese is a creamy, comforting revelation, its perfectly cooked pasta coated in a rich, velvety sauce that will transport you back to your childhood. The chicken wings are crispy, spicy, and addictively delicious, with a depth of flavor that will leave you wondering what dark magic Anarchy XMM employs to make them so irresistible. And the apple pie? Flaky, buttery, and indulgently sweet, with a crumbly crust that shatters in your mouth like a promise of happiness. This food truck is a gourmet kitchen on wheels, folks! Anarchy XMM is a game-changer, a culinary experience that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about food. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself and thank me later--but be warned: once you taste the magic, there's no going back. I ordered a two meat meal, brisket and pulled pork with my sides being mac & cheese collard greens and I had to order a coleslaw cause I need a coleslaw on my sandwich.. and honestly that should be a given like if you order a barbecue sandwich offer coleslaw & don't charge $4.95 for that. The coleslaw, mac & cheese and collard greens are very good. I will definitely order that again. The brisket was good. The pulled pork needed salt but the (I think) homemade vinegar dressing hooked it right up, it was good.. Even though I went to the counter three different times to ask for different things because I just assumed it came with my food. They were still very pleasant. So good customer service. I appreciate that they are open on Sunday. The atmosphere is kid, friendly and casual. I was really cold. I guess I'm sitting near a vent or something.. 8/10 but not because of lack of taste but more so because of the coleslaw being extra and when I ordered the 2 meat meal I assumed my pulled pork came as a sandwich, not just meat on the tray. So I also had to pay extra for a bun which came straight out the package. It would've been better if it was toasted or something, warmed up a little, I don't know. 10/25 - revisit . I ordered the same plus I added a potato salad and it was worth posting. The potato salad was red potato salad and delicious! I'm not sure who is preparing the food here but kudos to you!!

I was drawn in by a social media post advertising their Tuesday special, the Bulgogi Crunchwrap. I thought it would be a delightful ode to the OG but that the resemblance would be in appearance only. Boy was I wrong. My first bite flooded me with memories of begging my mom to stop at Taco Bell on my way home from high school just so I could have a crunchwrap. In the almost 30 years (damn) since then I've tried to eat it a couple of times but beyond the ick the quality of ingredients gives me, the flavor disappointed more each time. The Kobop version is an elevated take that produces the same meaty, crunchy, crispy, and creamy mouth feel while exponentially enhancing the flavor with Bulgogi beef and a zippy sauce. My only concern is that it's so big that I'm taking half home and with shredded lettuce inside it won't reheat well. Looks like there's a second dinner instore for me. Beyond this delightful experience, I also couldn't resist trying the Snack Pack, a happy hour treat including a taco, 3 dumplings, and Nashville fries for $9. It was an easy way to sample several menu items without an overwhelming bill. The Väsen bartenders were lovely, the kitchen staff was warm, and if I were a drinker, the beers look fantastic. We stopped by for drinks and dinner and were immediately impressed by the setup. Located inside Väsen, the food operation has a cool food truck-style pickup window at the back of the brewery when your pager goes off (order at the bar). It's casual, efficient, and adds to the fun atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish we tried delivered huge flavor and was packed with personality. This is the kind of food that makes you stop mid-conversation and comment on how good it is. The bar service was equally impressive. We placed our order through the bartender, and despite it being a Tuesday evening, there was plenty of staff on hand. Multiple team members checked on us throughout our visit, and every interaction was friendly, welcoming, and genuine. What really stood out was the sense of community. Although it's a relatively new addition to the Forest Hill area, it's already clear that locals have embraced it. They even have branded merchandise and cycling gloves for sale, and during our visit we watched several cyclists roll up, hop off their road bikes, and come inside still wearing their cycling gear. It felt like a true neighborhood gathering spot. Places like this give a neighborhood character, and Kobop Korean feels like something special.
