Had a plumbing emergency! Our washer backed up into our kitchen sink so knew we had a clog. Notified our home warranty (Old Republic) via the on-line system. Received confirmation immediately that our case was assigned to Anthony's. It was too late to call them last night so did first thing this morning at 8:30am. Customer service was awesome! The young lady I spoke with was pleasant and nice and told me not to worry, that they would have someone out as soon as possible. And that they did! I had a plumber at my house within a couple of hours. The young man, Anthony Williams (not the owner, just works for them!) was great! He was professional, dressed professional and clean, and handed me his card as soon as I answered the door. He came in and assessed the situation and went right to work. He used his snake and cleared our line, took the time to run a load in the washer to make sure things were clear, and cleaned up as though he was never there. Terrific crew to work with! They arrive on time, clean and ready to work. My home was carefully covered in plastic and anything fragile was moved to a safe place. Never having experienced a slab leak before, we had no idea what to expect. Brandon was very thorough in locating the problem areas and reviewed all of the details with us. He even had to calm down our older next door neighbor, with whom we share an outside wall with, as well as explain what they were doing. I've had nothing but bad luck with plumbers over the years. One could say I'm plumber-phobic. They speak a whole different language, and I just have to trust their recommendations. My trust in the last one I used got me ripped off, so I procrastinated calling a plumber for a slow drain that was occasionally backing up in our utility room. People in my neighborhood Facebook group recommended Anthony's Plumbing, and I saw they had a $55 drain cleaning special so I gave them a call this morning. To my surprise, they were able to get someone out within a few hours. Robert arrived on time, was very pleasant/professional and clearly knew what he was dealing with in our older home. He quickly snaked the drain, tested it, and cleaned up after himself. He showed me a picture of the debris in the drain as well. He also recommended (and sold me) a product that will help with ongoing maintenance. He looked at the last work done by a different plumber and pointed out what was wrong (and right), and gave me recommendations for it as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience - quick, competent and just what I needed (no major upselling). Total bill including the cleaning product was $110. I am a home owner who decided to have rain heads installed in both of my bathrooms because I wanted an updated look and I had them in my previous home and I loved them. Also, I thought why not have them come from the ceiling instead of the wall. I heard of this and thought it would look beautiful. I live in Buckeye, Arizona. We just purchased a home in the Historic Downtown Buckeye. I grew up in Buckeye so I always try to find locally owned companies first. So I saw an Anthony's Plumbing truck. It said local family owned and operated. I called them right away. In fact, that's when I made the decision to at least find out if it could be done. They told me on the phone that they would send someone right away. They sent a very nice man named Luis. I explained to him what I was thinking. He said yes that is easy. The walls were already open so he just connected to the existing plumbing to bring the pipe up and over the ceiling. The drain is already in place. He asked where I wanted the shower head. I looked at where I thought it would look best and that's where he put it. And it looked beautiful. Anthony's was paid very handsomely. Now I have both bathrooms tiled from floor to ceiling. I had a Glass wall put up and left a 24" opening to walk in and out of the shower. No door. It is beautiful. The first time I shower in both bathrooms the water goes out the door opening onto the floor. So I just roll up a big towel and put it across my 2' door opening every time I shower. Or, if I don't get all the way under the rain head and just dip in and out it doesn't drain on my floor so I don't need towels. That was a mess. I decided to call Anthony's Plumbing back out to see if they could tell me why I can't take a shower directly under my rain head without getting water all over the floor. Before when I showered I would leave the shower curtain opened a couple of feet because of the steam and it never got water on the floor. The Field Supervisor and Luis met together in both bathrooms and outside and decided that the only way to fix the problem is to install a door on the shower? I suggested moving the shower head back closer to the wall that the shower spout used to come out of. In fact, maybe they were wrong and a rain head from my ceiling wasn't possible after all. So put it back in the wall where it started and I'll put my rain head on an arm from there like my other house. The SUPERVISOR told me they would move the shower head in the ceiling closer to the wall for $650 for each bathroom because I told the PLUMBER where I wanted him to place the shower head. "We would put this shower head at the other end of the space if you told us to because there is not a code to tell us where to put it." I just assumed a plumber would have done this before. I didn't realize when I guessed where I wanted it put that I not the Professional, just became responsible for making sure my shower works right because he doesn't have a code to go by. The Professional Plumber didn't say he didn't know where to place it. He never asked me if I knew where to place it so it wouldn't poor water all over my floor. I am somewhat familiar with plumbing. I know the toilet flange needed to be replaced. The house was built in 1960 with the cast iron. I couldn't get the flange off and did not want to risk getting breaking other down pipe underneath the flange. So Anthony's plumbing was recommended by someone. I gave them a call. I had the whole toilet apart and ready to remove the flange. The came and took about an hour to get a quote of $950 and they will waive the inspection of $60. Said there is no guarantee this would fix the problem and if it doesn't work may cost more! Took another 30 minutes giving a spiel about the plumbing and the age of the house and something about inspections. Also didn't have the part ready and would have to come back. When I made the appointment I specifically told them it was a cast iron toilet flange that needs to be replaced. You would think for a $10 part they would have it ready or in stock on the vehicle. I said well think about it and just charge the $60. Called another recommended plumber explained the situation and wanted pictures. They said $200 came out the next day got the job done in less than 30 minutes. Charge an extra $10 because they don't recommend the wax seal i had. The problem was fixed. Later Anthony's plumbing called to collect the $60 for the inspection. The plumber was nice and was the office lady but the unpreparedness and amount was quoted was amazing!!!! read more

I also told Anthony that my home was built in 1948 and and that the snake needed to be 1/4 and he said all he had was a 1/2 snake so 2 strikes, He also was telling me about water jetting ect.... for 500.00. Overpriced! They have been to my home before and replaced a leaky sink drain. They had to come back to loosen the faucet so it could be moved from sink to sink. I definitely got ripped off by these guys. I was charged $400 to cut out a plastic line and cap it. He didn't even run a new line to the fridge where the line was originally run to. My arrival window was between 8 AM and 9 AM. At 9:15 I called the office asking where my technician was because I looked on the tracking feature they provided in the text message and it said he was still 45 minutes away. 45 minutes went by still no technician. Called the office again and she said "she is sorry the technician was held up." I have no problem with that, I used to be in roofing but the lack of communication and the fact that the technician might've been there (keyword "might have") two hours after the end of the original arrival window of 8 AM - 9 AM is absurd. read more

Called around to get quotes to do maintenance/flush my tankless water heater. First place said $200. Called Anthony's and the lady said $150 so I booked the appointment several days later. Mark showed up about 30 minutes after the planned 8-10am window. Very nice guy. Said the price is $500 for the flush/maintenance. I advised that seems exorbitant for an hour of flushing cleaner through the system and I was quoted $150. Mark said she should not have quoted over the phone because each job is different.(this is recommended annual maintenance for a Rheem). He went to the truck to find out about the quote I was given. He returned and said he could do $179 since that's what I was quoted(not true) and he would have to go to pick up some cleaner(not great planning). As soon as he left to get cleaner I called another plumber and was quoted $165. I called Anthony's to pay the $39 diagnostic charge and cancel. And the short time it took to fix the bathroom issue. Rodrigo Moses of Anthony's Plumbing stated that they would reimburse me $150. Anthony's plumbing did a fantastic job. Our kitchen sink was backing up on one side - the side with the garbage disposal. I have no idea how the plumbing works for the sink, so I was panicking. I had tried plunging it, liquid plumbr and so on. No luck. I called Anthony's plumbing and got a quote. They said it would be about $83 to snake the drain. This was fine with me, because I had been ready for the worst - thinking I'd need to pay to get a new garbage disposal installed, and go through the hassle of being down for a while! It turned out that I just had a little bit of a blockage in the "baffle" in my sink and it was a quick and easy fix. The guy who came out took the time to explain the problem, fixed it, and then charged me only $59 - $24 less than they'd quoted me on the phone! Couldn't be happier with them. So I found these guys off of Craig's List, which made me a little leery. They advertised $45 to unplug a plugged-up drain. I was worried some random guy would show up in an unmarked pickup truck or something, because that price is waaaay below what I paid a plumber the last time I needed a snaking. However, they showed up in a company box truck, and the guy that they sent, Brandon, was as professional as they come. He called when he said he would call (literally to the minute) and he was at the house when he said he would be (again, within minutes.) He was quick, in and out, and while I know that snaking a tub isn't rocket science, he was obviously very competent. He ran the snake several times, gave me some helpful info about my historic home and its equally historic plumping, and was on his way. Minimal impact on my life, other than now the tub drains. I spent an hour yesterday trying to snake it myself, ended up underneath my house in the crawlspace, covered in mud, totally hot and gross. All unnecessary, this dude got it done in ten minutes. I have had so many horrible, terrible service calls for various home repairs, and I paid huge bills for the privilege. These guys were awesome. Use them. The service was excellent but what really made it exceptional was the day before we had another well known plumbing service come out and got a quote for up to $1400 to fix our shower as he said he would need to go in through the wall etc. I was not comfortable with that quote so we called Anthony's plumbing and the next day they fixed it perfectly for $89.
