I have been with Dr. Vitarelli for many years now. He has always done right by me. Even his staff is amazing, and Stephanie is the greats. Dr. Vitarelli is very good at explaining things but also provides options. Stephanie her knowledge and experience around dentist insurance is amazing and she is so great. One of the best things about Dr. Vitarelli is that everyone even him have great people skills and just great to have conversations with. Even though the conversations are about food, tacos, just the ability to have a connection. read more

Thanks to Dr. Viterelli and his office staff, I no longer have a fear of going to the dentist. His ability to address my anxiety and connect with me as a patient has allowed me to develop positive associations with dentistry. I have not miss a dentist appointment since I started going to him. I was actually excited for my last appointment because I knew I was in good hands. I always leave his office with a smile which is a reflection of his work. He has a passion for his profession and it really shows. Even through multiple insurance provider changes, I still come back to see Dr. Viterelli. I cannot see myself working with another dentist again. read more

Dr. Vitarelli is the best Dentist I've ever had! The staff is friendly, and Dr. Vitarelli always remembers you!

I was skeptical coming to a new dentist because I've been going to mine for about 25 years. But with my old dentist telling me he's getting ready to retire, I needed to start finding one not only closer to home but one who would be around for the long run. I did a yelp search for dentists and Dr. Vitarelli popped up, so my husband and I began the process for new patients. The office staff are always so friendly, and accommodating. They kept their eyes open for an appointment that would best suit my schedule and called me when they had a last minute opening which was great. Office has state of the art equipment with the latest technology and hygienist who want to get to know you instead of having you be another number. And Dr. Vitarelli...he's truly great! So friendly, passionate about his work and makes you feel like you e known eachother for years. read more

Great staff and Dr Vitarelli takes the time to educate patients so they can make an informed decision.

Dr Vitarelli and his staff are the best. His office is amazing with its set up " one of the most well equipped I've ever seen ". His staff is amazing, they are very professional, engaging and the overall goal of taking care of the patient feels certain during the entire visit. Dr Vitarelli leads the way with his examples of caring, calm and gentle care. All this comes from a lady that went through hell as a child and. My fear is still there but I actually go and walk in the door willingly. read more

I've been going to Dr V for over 7 yrs. The staff is awesome and Dr V is very gentle during procedures and exams. Dr explains everything in detail and you never feel pressured to make a decision on the spot. The decision to do any procedures is always yours. I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist but the staff here make it very easy to keep coming back! read more

Long time customer and somehow friend of Dr Mathison, I was hesitant to have a young blood taking over. After trying another dentist, that seemed like a Hollywood show (lots of hype), I went back to Dr Vitarelli for a second opinion. Not only I felt like home again, but there was no pressure, no rush and his staff is as friendly as he is. Now for the most important: dentistry; he has upgraded the equipment and his technique is excellent. It has been 2 years now and I had several cleanings, 2 crowns and several old silver fillings replaced with the state of the art UV cured color matching compound. I have only good things to say. read more

The best dentist around! I've been coming here with my family for years. Dr V and his staff are awesome!

Big fan of Dr. Vitarelli, as is my family. He is thorough in his assessment of our dental needs, he is up to date with all the latest dental tools and techniques, and he is a genuinely nice guy. Stephanie is also amazing. read more

Dr V has a intimate practice with modern tools (digital xrays, masage chair, sonic cleaners). Why cant large practices offer such amenities? I've generally dredge going to the dentist for preventative cleaning or other dental work, but now that I go to Dr. V, that no longer the case. No up-selling, just good honest dental care. He took the time to explain everything easy to understand manner. The massage chair provides a nice soothing distraction. The office is easy to find and has secure parking lot and street parking. The lobby is well stocked with current periodicals and a nice high end self serve espresso/coffee machine. Coming from a large high volume 'jiffy lube style practice' is a nice change. read more

I was having some major tooth pain and I haven't been to the dentist for years. I needed to get in quick as the pain was unbearable. I asked a friend where was the best place to locate a dentist and she suggested to search Yelp. I went on and I was impressed with Dr. Vitarelli reviews. I called and was able to make an appointment right away. Stephanie, the head receptionist, was very nice and helped me feel welcome. Everyone in the office did! The process was smooth and Dr. Vitarelli made my feel real comfortable. I was nervous and thought I would be judged since I haven't been for years but Dr. Vitarelli made everything right. I needed to go to a specialist for my tooth and Dr. Vitarelli made the perfect suggestion. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Vitarelli . **They have massage chairs as your teeth are getting worked on!** read more

I came because of the massage chair review :) Dr Anthony is an awesome dentist. Very gentle hands and newer technology. Fast and perfect. I always finish in an hour so so it's not obvious at work that I go missing. read more

I have to be honest I never thought I'd give a dentist 5 stars - but dang Dr. V and the entire crew really deserve 5 +++ stars. First, it has been some time since my family has been to a dentist and we unfortunately had a couple of bad ones to boot, so we have a bit of "catching up" to do. Yes, this means cleaning, xrays and fillings for everyone. (Thank goodness for decent dental insurance!) So I was looking for a dentist who was not going to make us feel horrible for letting our dental care lapse and a dentist who would work for my tween, teen and their parents. First, they are they are extremely professional. Stephanie and crew are quick to schedule meetings, gave me a heads up on the final cost for fillings etc for my entire family and are very cognizant of keeping us within our insurance + budget. Next, the equipment is top notch. Massage chairs, blankets to keep you toasty and modern paint and art. I kinda love that place (Did I just say that about a dentist's office? I did!) Most importantly, Dr. V is extremely thorough and gentle. We asked me repeatedly if I was comfortable during my "fillings" procedure. He made sure that there was plenty of suction, so I wasn't sitting there with a mouth full of saliva and kept me entertained with his stories. My old dentists NEVER did that. Seriously. I gotta say I've never had such a positive experience at the dentist. Moreover, my entire family feels the same way. I can not recommend him more. He is busy and his calendar fills up quick...that's because he is good! read more

The best dentist in the world. Super caring and so skillful im distraught at having to leave CA and find a new dentist in new zealand. The whole team is fantastic but dr v is so awesome because i had an emergency tooth situation and within an hour on a Saturday night he left his dinner reservation and met me at the clinic to do a repair job. That just doesnt happen anywhere else. Cant praise enough. Theres no choice to make, this is absolutely the place to go! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Vitarelli. I found him in the Delta Dental directory. I have cavities in all my teeth and have been to a lot of dentists in my years. My last dentist said I had a galvenized current which was her not being able to numb me enough. Dr. Vitarelli completed the work my old dentist started. His dental assistant is the greatest!! I never felt like I was going to drown in my saliva. Dr Vitarelli is very detailed! He tells you what he is doing as he is working. My son says Dr Vitarelli is "Cool". That's a huge compliment!!! Oh, and the massage chairs are an added bonus. read more

What a wonderful experience! Doctor Vitarelli is so kind and funny! I laughed throughout my appointment. The overall team there is very welcoming and pleasant. I'm not a big fan of the dentist but his team really does put you to ease and make the experience a great one! read more

Fixed my car in a few minutes. No, this is not a mistake, after a long appointment to prepare a tooth for a crown, my car didn't start and when I asked if it would be ok to leave the car in the parking lot for the rest of the day, Dr. Anthony said with a smile that he could help. Everybody is nice and extremely professional. read more

I hate going to the dentist mostly because I don't numb easily and the dentists never believe me. Dr. Vitarelli listened to me whinge and carry on and gave me enough to numb me and he was super understanding and patient. The front desk staff are awesome. read more

Very knowledgeable doctor. Efficient office. Flexible scheduling.

After my dentist retired I chose Dr. Vitarelli. Wow, what a perfectionist and pleasant professional he is. The crown he put on my broken tooth is excellent. I am 76 years old, and unfortunately for him, he is so good that I won't be seeing much of him except for routine screenings and teeth cleaning. read more

You will never find a better dentist in my opinion. He really cares about your comfort and happiness, as does his staff. I dislike going to the dentist, but Dr V and staff put me at such ease that I actually enjoy going. They take excellent care of you from the moment you enter until you leave. He's the best dentist I've had in my lifetime. (I'm 71) read more

Dr. Vitarelli is the best dentist I have ever been to! Getting dental work from his is pain-free! He makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way. Dr. V's office is modern, sparkling clean with a superb staff in place and conveniently located. Honestly, going to his office is like going to the spa. He even provides a sherpa blankie if you are cold and hot coffee/tea (in any flavor) upon arrival & healthy snacks if you are hungry ;) I also took my 6 year old son here who is super finicky and he enjoyed his visit. Dr V and Gina (hygienist) took really good care of my son and now he's excited to go back?! How cool is that? I highly recommend Dr V! read more

We just had our second visit with Dr. Vitarelli and needless to say it was better than the first:) he is up front with his diagnosis but first puts you at ease which is a blessing in itself. The hygienist Jennifer is a sweetheart and did such a thorough cleaning on our teeth. It's a great office in general staff included and Safety precautions were followed to a T. Thank you Dr. V and staff and God bless you for being there for us! read more

If only 6 stars was possible! I've dreaded going to a dentist for over 7yr! I've made every excuse in the book not to go! This year I decide to man up and address my dental needs. The fact that Dr.Vitarelli is young was a major plus to me. He's very easy to talk to and I felt like he really cared about how I felt. He's staff was great they where friendly and nice from the very second I walked in the door and interrupted their lunch!! I felt so bad for interrupting but they just dropped what they where doing to help me. My cleaning experience wasn't as bad as I pitched it being due the previous dentist experiences. I left Dr.Viarelli's office feeling excited and a little inspired to keep addressing my dental needs and to care for my teeth. Big thank you to Dr.Vitarelli and his staff!! read more

That's 5 stars X 2 or more by the way. Dr. Vitarelli and his staffs are amazing, knowledgeable and great to work with. I was referred to Dr. Vitarelli by one of my friend at work. I told my friend I don't like my current dentist and there's something phishy about him and surely enough, right when I made my first appointment with Dr. Vitarelli, his assistant, Stephanie called me and said my dental insurance has been wiped clean! I was freaking out because I had only been gone to my old dentist once and it was just cleaning, nothing special. Stephanie offered to help me dispute it as I have no idea where to start. Stephanie worked on the paperworks from calling the insurance and she kept me in the loop. It took 2-3 months for the investigation and money was put back in to my account, thank goodness for amazing and knowledgeable receptionist like Stephanie! Turned out that my old dentist took all insurance money early in the year which to me is illegal. Anyway, since then I've put all my trust on Dr. Vitarelli and his entire staff. He's a great dentist, up to date with all of new techniques and technologies, very personable, family oriented, very welcoming. I have lots of teeth and gum issues so Dr. Vitarelli referred me to other dental specialists too. All are great recommendations!! I recently took my little girl for her first dental visit and Dr. Vitarelli and his staff were amazing! I expected lots of crying and screaming but I was wrong, my 15month old actually enjoyed being on the dentist chair! Love Dr. Vitarelli and his entire staff and I highly recommend them! read more

Dr Vitarelli is absolutely incredible. I never minded going to the dentist before, but Dr Vitarelli and his staff take it up another level. I would highly recommend to come here if you want quality service and to be greeted by very well trained staff. read more

Great and well informed physician. He treats holistically. We aren't treated as just a number. Love the staff, lead by Ms. Stephanie!!!

Ok, I revised my review after a conversation with Dr. Vitarelli. He seems open enough to hear the feedback unlike some others that diminish your feedback and continue on with business as usual. This guy took over the practice of the guy I was seeing when he retired. The practice went down the drain from there. I liked the funky '70's look of the office. It reminded me of going to the dentist when I was a kid. The old guy's receptionist was so sweet and would entertain my little one while the doctor was busy with me. I'd have to say that I don't care for the cold attitude of the new receptionist and Dr. Vitarelli acts like he's better than the rest of us. All growing up the dentist complimented me on my teeth. Since then I've gone to several different dentists, receiving the same compliments. One even wanted to use my teeth as the example of good dental hygene. When Dr. vitarelli showed up there seemed to be something wrong with my teeth. I needed a filling. Then another filling. The third time, I got suspitious and flaked out on my appointment. Since then, I've gone to a different dentist. The new guy shows me the x-rays and explains what he's looking at. Dr. Vitarelli always had the pictures behind me out of my sight and never explained anything. What he did do was shame me for not brushing three times and floss once a day. Now my wifes doesn't want to go to any dentist because she felt embarrassed by his shaming tactic. read more

I've been going to Dr. Vitarelli ever since he took over from Dr. Matheson years ago. He is professional, up to date and a great guy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The biggest thing that impressed me from the beginning was is skill level. He is an absolute craftsmen. He builds model airplanes in his spare time and you can tell that this precision and technique carry over to his profession. When he works on your teeth the is patient and precise. I started taking my son there (currently 4 years old) and Dr. V was wonderful with him. He is not sold as a kid dentist, but I prefer him over the "day care" style kids dentist any day. My son loves him and actually looks forward to going to see him! read more

Dr. Tony is the best in town. He is so gentle with my 4 year old daughter that she doesn't even know what's going on. The whole team is so friendly and easygoing. They make a typically stressful event - no big deal. Thank you Dr Tony and Team for all that you do. read more

All these FIVE star ratings should give everyone a good indication of the type of service to expect. Dr. Vitarelli is an outstanding dentist whose first concern are his patients. He will come in early or stay late to accommodate them. Once I had to call his office number in middle of the night leaving a message for an appointment the next day due to a very painful toothache. He called back within an hour, offering to call in a prescription and see me the following day. I have been impressed with the outstanding quality of work he does. He does explain what needs to be done, why it needs to be done and how it will be done. There are no surprises. He has shown me the xrays, however I wouldn't know exactly what to look at on the film. He combines intelligence, skill and kindness. What else can we ask for in a treating dentist. I love to hear about his family and how much he loves them. His staff is the same. They reflect the same patient philosophy. My adult children all feel the same. I can't forget to mention Stephanie. Dr. V is the engine then Stephanie is the rudder. She handles so many tasks in the office. She will always greet you with a smile, handle appointments, insurance claims and so much more. Thank you Dr V and your entire staff. read more

I've lived in numerous cities and have seen many different dentists, and Dr. Vitarelli and his staff are far and away the greatest. I am typically skeptical of any businesses with stellar ratings across the board, but I can honestly say Dr. Vitarelli's practice more than deserves such high praise. I rarely ever write Yelp reviews, but I feel driven to do so in an effort to express my gratitude to Dr. Vitarelli and his staff (shoutout to Stephanie!). Dr. Vitarelli himself is very warm and personable. He knows his stuff and does a great job sharing his knowledge in a way that never feels rushed or biased. Unlike other dental practices I've gone to, Dr. Vitarelli's practice is on the side of the patient. While other practices seem intent on squeezing as much money out of their patients (and their patients' insurance companies) as possible, Dr. Vitarelli recommends procedures only when they are absolutely necessary for the health of your teeth (and/or to satisfy any aesthetic desires or concerns). And when a procedure is recommended, he makes sure to present all possible options for addressing the root issue (pun intended), thoroughly explaining the costs and benefits of each option to ensure you are able to make an informed decision. For example, when I inquired about teeth whitening, he presented me with numerous options - different over-the-counter trays/pens/toothpaste options, in-office whitening procedures, dentist-prescribed whitening gel and trays, etc. - and thoroughly covered the advantages and disadvantages of each (specifically concerning cost, my required time commitment, short-term effectiveness, long-term effectiveness, and so on). The office itself is run like a well-oiled machine. Stephanie is the heart of the office, seemingly responsible for a multitude of administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, billing, communicating with insurance companies, coordinating with other service providers when necessary, and so on. She's very sharp and very friendly and, when necessary, is willing to fight with the insurance companies on behalf of the patient. Keep up the great work, Dr. Vitarelli and staff! Your dedication to and prioritization of your patients is quite admirable and very much appreciated :D read more

Great office to go to! Both Dr. Vitarelli and his staff make the patient feel so welcome and comfortable and they take plenty of time for explanations. When my dentist of many years suddenly retired I was dreading finding a new dentist but Dr. Vitarelli filled in for him and I met him that way. I was able to meet him in a different setting and knew I would feel comfortable with him since he was so personable and my former dentist recommended him. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vitarelli and his staff. He makes it easy to "have" to go to the dentist! read more
