AC Unit Replaced Good Morning. We are original homeowners. During the entire 10 years of owning the home, we have suffered with a hot room. No matter what we did or who did it, we could not get that room cool. That one room has a Thermostat which kept our AC unit continuously firing and our eldest Grandson continually complaining. I was so tired of having to replace the capacitor every 1.5 years. We replaced so many of them we kept a spare capacitor. Our annual household budget included $1500 per year in maintenance fees just for the AC unit. We did a lot of research on AC units. We selected Trane because of quality and longevity. We replaced our 4 ton Carrier unit with a 5 ton, 2 phase Trane. We also replaced our gas Furnace with a Trane Furnace. Replacing the Carrier unit has been one of our better decisions since owning the home. We selected Anthony James Air Conditioning & Heating (www.anthonyjamesair.com, anthonyjamesair@gmail.com, 623-244-4006) to do the work. They are recommended by Trane, they are a Trane Comfort Specialist, have been established since 2008 and are owned by 4 brothers. This company is amazing!!! We were told they would start the job at 6:00 am. I walk outside at 6:00 am and all 4 brothers, each with a large working van are starting to unload. They were here from 6:00 am until 3:30. They did not stop for lunch or breaks. They just worked their tail off. They fixed our hot room with the addition of a heat vent (sucks heat out of the room - sorry, former accountant, not sure of the technical name) and optimized the air handlers in the attic. End Result: Our Hot room is no longer hot and is now consistent with the rest of the house. The AC unit hardly runs and is so very quiet. Most of the time, when the AC runs, only the 3 ton portion is running. We also installed two phase thermostats which include software algorithms for balancing the air flow. (Who knew). We are Very Very please with Trane and Anthony James Air Conditioning and Heating. 623-244-4006 read more

This company is highly recommended! They were expedient and knowledgeable with my issue. They work with BINSR reports and know exactly how to address any agreed repairs. They saved me a lot of money and were honest with their recommendation. Rich the technician that came out was empathetic and knew exactly how to address the issue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. GOOD HONEST SERVICE. VERY HARD TO FIND. Thank you! read more

Anthony James Air replaced our systems a few years ago (two-story home with upstairs and downstairs systems). They were very professional when they did the installation and have continued to be professional since then. They have inspected our system yearly, including just yesterday. I have found their service to be excellent. I continue to recommend them if you want the job done correctly. When making such a big purchase, it is important to feel that the company will continue to do what it promised. You are investing in a relationship with the company, not just buying the system. Anthony James includes service for four years, and they have provided excellent service for us during that time. I feel comfortable that they will continue to provide excellent service. Great company! read more

Anthony James Air consistently provides excellent customer service. Rich replaced my HVAC in 2022 and since then he has continued to provide that excellent service I received at installation. Anthony James just repaired a thermostat that had gone bad. They were able to identify some faults remotely and instead of guessing brought out a replacement thermostat. While here Anthony went over the charge on the outdoor unit and did multiple checks. This company is top notch. They also did a repair on my neighbors A/C and they were not only impressed with the service but the charge as well. My service call was completed same day contact was made we are up and running without a hitch. Anthony James stand behind there work and back it up with exceptional service. This is the Second Time I've used these Guys. Always on time, always goes the extra mile. Highly recommended. Made sure my Shop a/c was working properly. Thanks Alex. read more

We had our entire A/C and heater system replaced, as well as a new thermostat installed. The guys at Anthony James were friendly and professional from start to finish. They gave us a very detailed quote, answered every question we had, showed up right when they said they would and kept the lines of communication open through every step of the process. There were no unexpected surprises or hidden costs. In fact, their quote was lower than any other company we'd checked with, but the lower price definitely didn't mean lower quality! They built a new slab to accommodate the new, bigger A/C compressor and cleaned everything up when they were done. They left the work areas better than they found them! We'd never had a smart thermostat before and they walked us through the set up process and made sure that we knew how to use it and that everything was working properly before they left. We are beyond thrilled with the experience we had with Anthony James and would recommend them in a heartbeat! We will definitely use them the next time we need A/C or heater services! read more

Bought a high-end Trane unit a few years back that has been causing intermittent issues with a lot of error codes. Anthony came out and seemed extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. Turns out the installers melted some of the wiring leading into the house from the unit which was causing sensor errors and a complete shutdown of the unit. Anthony had it back up and going within an hour and a half. Job well done, will definitely be using again! read more

As a real estate agent, investor and property manager, I have used Anthony James Air Condition for hundreds of service calls. Very honest and dependable. I have used them for simple routine spring check ups to whole new systems. Their pricing is honest and don't charge for unnecessary work. On the big jobs where I need multiple quotes for clients, they have often come in thousands less than the highest quote. They have also saved my clients and I a lot of money by covering work and/or parts under warranty when I was not even aware the unit still had any warranty. Over the years, I often changed up vendors that I use, but not with my A/C service. I can highly recommend and you don't have to fear being ripped off. read more

Great service! They showed up early and performed all the necessary items plus answered all my questions. Highly recommend!

We had Richie come out to our house back in November to service our Heat/Air unit. He was on time and very polite and informative since it was our first service since purchasing the house. I called recently to get a servicing done at my parents house. They were disgusted by the company they had been using. They would come in and try to upsell them during every servicing. I believe it was Alex that came out this time. Again very punctual and very polite and just did what needed to be done. I do believe that they're very honest. And that's what you want in any contractor. read more

When something goes wrong with your AC in the middle of summer, the last thing you want to do is have a worry about the integrity of the company trusted to help you in this stressful time. The professionalism of Josh and Anthony are really second to none and I can wholeheartedly say that I would recommend them without hesitation. Knowledgeable, honest - they really seemed to care about doing the best job possible while still remaining extremely reasonable and competitively priced. It's never fun when catastrophe strikes but if it ever does, call these guys - you won't regret it. read more

Here is my update about Anthony. He pays his rent early. He always texts me when he deposits the rent check. He is always polite. He did have some loud music that a neighbor complained about, along with a few other things, but I assume they were addressed as I have not heard anything further. I really appreciate his professionalism and courtesy. Not only would I rent to him, if I ever needed his professional services, I would not hesitate to use him. He just has been that responsible and on top of it. read more

I bought my condo four years ago and had never had my AC thoroughly checked. My neighbor recommended Anthony James so we made a tandem appointment. Our service was completed efficiently, professionally, and effectively. I'll recommend them to anyone! read more

If you need A/C service or installation, give Anthony a call. He's honest, hard working, has fair prices and goes the extra mile to help you and get the job done correctly. He's not like the rest of the A/C companies that come out to give you a "free" tune up and then tells you all the things that need fixed! He does not try to sell you service and maintenance contracts. He fixes what's broke, what a concept! Anthony and his brothers are people you can trust and count on. read more

After securing 5 inspections and quotes to replace our 2 unit system we selected Anthony James. Their plan to correct duct work deficiencies and suggest the best suited replacement furnaces, coils and ac condensers was spot on. Their work was professionally done and they were very respectful and friendly. They took the time to explain every aspect of the proposed work and equipment. We highly recommend this local family owned and operated company. read more

Anthony James HVAC is outstanding. They are professional, courteous, and perform quality work. They installed (2) 3 ton Trane XL16c and (1) 2 ton XL14c packaged heat pumps. They (4 brothers) arrived on time. Had the old units removed and new ones installed in 5 hours. This included pulling new thermostat wires for the new smart thermostats, installing much improved intake vents. They also programed the 3 thermostats, connecting to wifi and setting up the heat/cool schedules. The price was very competitive, matching a large corporate HVAC companies bid. Anthony is the best and I HIGHLY recommend them. read more

Before we moved from our previous home we had this outfit install (2) new complete Trane systems at a cost of $15K a couple of years ago. After numerous attempts they finally got the systems working properly. Following our move I contact them a month ago for an estimate to add a supply and return in a newly enclosed laundry area. Anthony came out, checked out what would take to do the job and said he would send the estimate that day. No estimate ever came. Once the framing, sheet rock, taping, painting etc. was completed I contacted him to advise that we was ready for the duct work. I was told that it could be done the following week on Thursday or Friday. I again reminded him that I never received an estimate. Again, no estimate was received. After several text and voice mail reminders I finally receive a quote that was $140 higher than other competitive estimates. After attempting again to contact Anthony several times via text, voice mail and email he finally returned the call days later. I told him I would agree to pay what the other estimates were. He said he would have to go over his numbers and would call back in 10 minutes, which he never did. The following day I send another text reminding him that he didn't call back as promised. Then I receive a text that they won't reduce the price and that they are booked out 3 weeks. I guess he wasn't man enough to just say we don't want the job because it's too small so he plays the booked up card even though we were supposedly on their schedule. If you need a completely new system they just might provide and estimate but after that you absolutely can't count on this outfit to have fair pricing and good follow-up. For anything other than a big $ job their customer service and follow-up stinks. Our son and several friends are looking to replace their HVAC systems but will not consider using Anthony James. read more
