Mike is absolutely amazing. I had been trying to find someone to fix my thermostat and he was there same day with a smile on his face. He walked me through what he was doing, let my dog hangout with us and made me feel comfortable. I called Action Air for a condensate line leak or so I thought. William arrived within two hours and discovered it was not the condensate. He went back into the attic and located the leak, which turned out to be the hot water line. Although he could not fix it, he wrote down exactly what was wrong and I was able to relay this information to the plumber. Mike at Action air is a straight shooter, I was told I needed to replace my air conditioner by other companies. I like to support local companies when I can so I gave Action air a call for another opinion, Mike came out and said Lennox used the wrong material on their coils and that Freon caused the copper to break down and leak. Mike said I could just replace the coil. So Mike replaced the coil with aluminum coils, saved me thousands of dollars. I recommend Action air 100%. read more

I called action air to check my ac. My unit is 21/2 years old. He spent 5 minutes to check if I had enough freon in it. I asked him to check the blower to see if it was blowing the air properly, his answer was that it sounded good. If the blower sounds good, does it mean it is blowing the ac properly? He did clean the ac with water hose. He did not check electrical connection for loose connections. read more

I have nothing to say but good things about them. I had 30+ year old unit when I bought my place. Other a/c repair men tried to sell me expensive services/repairs I didn't need. They have taken good care of my dad and neighbor. When it came time to replace my unit, they didn't try to up sell me on things I didn't need, unlike the other quotes I had gotten. Our landlord contacted this company based on good Angie's list reviews or so we were told. We found them to be very rude, pushy, and unprofessional. The gentleman who showed up had a smoky odor of some sort and was insistent about coming in. We hadn't set up an appointment and suspected a scam, so we attempted to turn him away. He then said he'd be coming onto our roof. It was not until we threatened to call the police that he was dissuaded. He then sat in front of our house and blasted music for 20 minutes before finally leaving. Our landlords scheduled a time for him to come back, and he promised he would not enter the house. He then made up an excuse to check the thermostat, gaining entry after all. We are hoping this company is just incompetent and unprofessional, and that nothing worse is going on. We would use extreme caution, especially if you have young children at home like us. read more
