He's an expert at what he does, loves what he does and has incredible bedside manner. When you are pregnant you visit your OBGYN a lot, so it's important to have good relations with your doctor. Dr B is super knowledgeable, but most importantly he really cares about his patients. If you have a question you can call him up anytime and he will be there for you. I could not have been more thankful for this, especially during Covid when there are a million questions about what you can and can't do. Everyone at the practice is super sweet too -- Dr Valarezo, all of the nurses and the front desk staff. I really appreciated this. It was always nice to see friendly faces, especially since my husband couldn't come to most visits because of Covid. I had such a positive birthing experience because of Dr B. He has a great sense of humor, and at points he even had me laughing on the delivery table, which I never in a 100 years thought I'd be doing. I developed an infection postpartum and needed antibiotics. There was a mishap and they didn't get called into my pharmacy before the closed up for the night. I really needed the antibiotics that night, and Dr B literally had me on the phone while he was searching for a pharmacy that was still open. If that doesn't speak volumes about the kind of doctor he is than I don't know what does.... Most importantly - my baby girl is healthy and happy. I'm so thankful to have had such a great OBGYN!

This was my first time scheduling an annual gyno appointment with a male doctor so I was initially hesitant, but Dr. Hirsch and the rest of the staff made me feel comfortable the entire time. He has such great bedside manner, and he's very thorough and professional. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new gyno in the area!

I called them, they sent a message to confirm the appointment and a phone call. Three opportunities to mention the move. Got to the right office and didn't leave until 1:40. So an hour and a half for a flu shot that took at most 5 minutes. Do you need to space out the appointments? Hire more doctors? Take on less patients? I don't know about other people but after over 2 years with appointments like these I'm ready to start looking for a new office. Adding insult to injury, having waited so long at the doctor's office my guy has missed his nap window. The front desk I barely have to speak to so I can't say much. The MAs I only really had one assist me every time we went and she was super friendly. My son usually goes to the florham park office, but we had to resort to west orange once or twice. Now my issue is I called numerous times and asked about my son vaccination record (he was only 2.5 months old) so there was only 3 things on this record. Unfortunately the office is too far for me (40 mins) my son got an ear infection and I had to make an appt close to home. Now after his first appt I was told he needed his immunization records in order to be seen again by the new office near home. When I called florham park to retrieve these I was told "30 days you can pick it up" WHAT?!!!! I wasn't asking for medical records and I was going back and forth numerous times and different days... I gave up, bc as a new mom I'm exhausted and didn't have it in me to argue. ( I also emailed the office as suggested and at this point I wanted all records bc I was done with this facility and lack of common sense) So fast forward to two weeks later, I had to last min get my son in to do a quick covid test ( as I couldn't be seen near home bc I still wasn't able to retrieve his records). Once I got in I made sure to get his immunization rec., and once our appt was done I was told 24 hours for results to be in. I waited over 24 hours and finally called...the lady at the front desk told me their backed up on test.... Which made no sense but okay so she said to call in a day, well I gave them two days now at this point it's 5 days LATER I spoke to someone at 9am and they told me an on call doctor will call with my 2.5 month old sons results ( as covid result aren't important I guess) and guess what?.... NO CALL! So, aggravated as I was I called again and left a voicemail and I'm sure you can guess it again.... NO CALL BACK.... EVER! Now it's a week and a few days later I called, the front desk answered and literally gave me his results... it was THAT SIMPLE. Now I get an email 3 weeks later about medical records saying "it'll be ready in two weeks" well now it's over the legal 30 day period and clearly over the two weeks I was promised. My son is now 4 months what is so hard about printing or sending a few notes on his visits when he hasn't even been here more than 4/5 visits??? All this did was put me back on being able to treat my son as needed medically, very unprofessional as a medical office for children. Not sure what the excuse is holding medical records for longer than necessary I would never make my patients wait the 30 day period. That is totally absurd and so rude! I do work in medical and manage a super busy office so the way this office is handling specific/simple task is mind boggling. I will be calling back and giving a piece of my mind as they totally violated my rights to medical records and as the state of NJ it's a 30 day wait period.. which they're aware, but clearly can't manage that time correctly. This office seems very slow paced every time I've been here so I'm not sure what the issue is with helping patients out with simple things as this.

What I will say is that the staff at the front desk and at the intake process may be curt but they ultimately respectful. I work in customer service and I can sympathize with what they go through. The daily workload is taxing to say the least and the constant exposure to people can and does wear people down. To cope, niceties are given the boot and people stick to just the facts. Ultimately behind the facade I could tell that the staff care. They are just trying to survive. Once I saw and interacted with Dr Winsome Parchment I was very grateful that I allowed myself to go through with the appointment instead of cancel and reschedule with another practice. Long story short-- I had been going to the same doctor since I was 15 (Dr. Thomas Angelo of Bernardsville-- my late mother used to say, "If only all doctors were as good...."), he had retired, and I needed a new one. Dr. Postighone was suggested as a possible replacement by a friend, and he's been my regular doctor ever since. He has 2 offices-- in Stirling and Florham Park-- and is always busy, and yet his manner is consistently down-to-earth and compassionate. My major medical problem (up to now, anyway) is migraine headaches, which I've suffered from since the age of 9. As a migraine sufferer himself, Dr. Postighone is particularly in tune with what I suffer through and his suggestions regarding medication have helped spare me much unncecessary pain and suffering. In all matters where I've needed medical treatment or diagnosis (migraines, physicals, shingles, hemachromatosis...I've got the gene for it but not the disease itself..., mysterious blood spots in my eye, high cholesterol, etc.), Dr. Postighone has been cutting edge, well versed in knowledge and experience, patient, and...perhaps most importantly...kind. A good bedside manner, in and of itself, doesn't really mean much (not to me, anyway), but when you match it with skill and dedication, it makes for a winning combination. Dr. Postighone has all these attributes, and is highly recommended.

On my last visit with the doctor, I told him I was upset that he hadn't returned any of my phone calls. His response was "I don't have time to return calls. My staff does that." I told him that his staff had never returned my calls, and he literally shrugged it off. The decline and lack of professionalism is not worth going to him.
