It's Thank You Thursday, so what better time to review the doctor who delivered my baby girl. Dr Bissinger is a top notch doctor. He's an expert at what he does, loves what he does and has incredible bedside manner. When you are pregnant you visit your OBGYN a lot, so it's important to have good relations with your doctor. Dr B is super knowledgeable, but most importantly he really cares about his patients. If you have a question you can call him up anytime and he will be there for you. I could not have been more thankful for this, especially during Covid when there are a million questions about what you can and can't do. Everyone at the practice is super sweet too -- Dr Valarezo, all of the nurses and the front desk staff. I really appreciated this. It was always nice to see friendly faces, especially since my husband couldn't come to most visits because of Covid. I had such a positive birthing experience because of Dr B. He has a great sense of humor, and at points he even had me laughing on the delivery table, which I never in a 100 years thought I'd be doing. I developed an infection postpartum and needed antibiotics. There was a mishap and they didn't get called into my pharmacy before the closed up for the night. I really needed the antibiotics that night, and Dr B literally had me on the phone while he was searching for a pharmacy that was still open. If that doesn't speak volumes about the kind of doctor he is than I don't know what does.... Most importantly - my baby girl is healthy and happy. I'm so thankful to have had such a great OBGYN! read more

I came here as a new patient this past Friday and I couldn't have had a better experience! The appointment was so easy to make over the phone, the new patient paperwork was emailed to me ahead of time so I can fill it out before getting to the office, there was no wait time once I got there, the office was very clean, and all the staff I encountered there was so friendly. This was my first time scheduling an annual gyno appointment with a male doctor so I was initially hesitant, but Dr. Hirsch and the rest of the staff made me feel comfortable the entire time. He has such great bedside manner, and he's very thorough and professional. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new gyno in the area! read more

Horrible receptionist/staff. The office apparently moved 2 days ago and mother has an apt tmrw. They never notified their patients of the move and their phones aren't working properly to get through when calling. Finally get through and the receptionist was nasty, rude and unprofessional.. said it wasn't her problem the dr.'s didn't notify their patients of the move. Horrible way to treat long time patients who have gone there for over 50yrs! now they will be losing a patient and hope they lose more! Their staff has been the WORST for many years!! read more

I have only had poor experiences at this practice. I have come back out of real necessity, and have time and time again been disappointed. I will not be returning. I have had to convince doctors of my pain, and was not listened to. I came in with a disorder that the doctors did not know of and "did not believe in" despite it being a prevalent pelvic disorder amongst those with vaginas. I have been thoroughly disappointment with the treatment here, and especially do not recommend for younger patients as I was spoken to like a child (I am in my 20s). read more

Dr. Valarezo is AWESOME. She's honest, professional, and has the absolute best bedside manner - always making me feel comfortable (hard to do in your 3rd trimester!). I recommend anyone looking to Dr. Valarezo and this practice. read more

The office staff is friendly and helpful. I had no wait time for my appointment. Dr. Hirsch is very friendly caring and thorough. I arrived a little early for my appointment and didn't have to wait too long before I was taken in. The staff is helpful and Dr. Hirsch is the best dr. I have ever used. He is super caring and treats me like a human, not a number. When I once thanked him for that, he said if anything ever changes, I should let him know. And that I will, if it ever does occur. He makes sure you understand everything he tells you and makes the appointment as comfortable as comfortable can get. read more

Im beyond upset. When i called and set up an appointment with Leviss my very first question was if they took my specific insurance, they said they did. I live in Edison and drove 45mins for this appointment, only to be told they don't take my insurance. Really? So you're out here just wasting people's time? Very inconsiderate for an office to function in such a manner. read more

I am over the moon happy with Dr. B, Dr. V, and Ilona. With my first pregnancy I was with another group and it was so big that I felt like by the time of delivery, they didn't even know who I was. Since the moment I have changed groups to lifeline, I have never felt so heard by any other doctor group. When I told them I experienced a traumatic delivery the first time and post partum depression and anxiety, they were really proactive towards getting me help prior to the delivery of my second. With that help, I am able to cope much better with the second and don't experience those unpleasant days. This is something that could have easily been overlooked by a doctor that does not care to get you the help you need. I also tore really bad with my first and the stitches and repair were done incorrectly which needed to be repaired by dr B. He did a fantastic job and now I do not experience the daily pain down there that I was experiencing after the delivery of my first. I could not say enough great things about this group and I am so glad I went to them! Thank you for everything you have done for me!!! read more

I am so thankful I found this practice over 25 years ago. I have seen all the doctors at one time or another. They delivered all 3 of my children and each experience was positive. My 16 year old had a heart issue when I was pregnant with her and it was very scary. Dr Bissinger helped me through an extremely stressful pregnancy and Morristown hospitals NICU saved her life. read more

I came across Dr. Bissinger while going into surgery with his partner Dr. Flores. He was very friendly and funny. Once Dr Flores left the practice I was very hesitant to find another doctor so I saw about three doctors closer to home and I was extremely unhappy. I returned to Dr Bissinger and I can't be happier. He has fixed a problem that the other doctors neglected to see because they were rushing me out of the office. Dr Bissinger took his time explained the procedure he was going to do and was extremely compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr Bissinger to anyone. Great obgyn!! read more

Unfortunately I did not even get a chance to see the doctor. My appointment was either canceled or not placed in the system. None of which was discovered while speaking with the staff five times over three different days three weeks in advance. So I take off work arrive at the office and they tell me "there's nothing they can do" because someone never put my appointment in the system. I asked to speak to the doctor and they refused. Even when I asked to have her call me when she got a chance. I have been coming here for 10 years and the past two they have gone down hill. I'm embarrassed for them. read more

I'm very happy with my birthing experience thanks to Dr. Bissinger. He really took his time to talk with me and answer all my questions during my pregnancy, which really put me at ease. He gave me and my husband advice that was very helpful as first time parents. He is very knowledgeable and caring. Overall Dr. Bissinger is a wonderful doctor. Dr Hirsch has been my ob/gyn for many, many years. In fact, there was a time quite a while back when his office dropped my insurance company, so I went elsewhere--big mistake. I came right back, and eventually his office picked up my insurance comany again. So now I won't go anywhere else, no matter what. He is wonderful--professional, compassionate, warm, reassuring, and always right with his diagnoses, and he remembers your issues from visit to visit. And his staff is also very good--friendly and helpful. Wait time is also not too long. read more

The staff are all friendly and pleasant. I've never waited more than 2 minutes to be seen. His nurses and front end staff are always helpful. Dr Hirsch never rushes you, after your exam he welcomes you to his office where he discusses his findings. He gives you your referrals if needed at that time. The office is pretty timely and wait time is typically less than 5 minutes. This is very much appreciated as there are other offices that do not seem to consider patients' time. Dr. Hirsch is fantastic. He answers all questions and is able to explain things at a level that would make anyone comfortable. read more
