What I will say is that the staff at the front desk and at the intake process may be curt but they ultimately respectful. I work in customer service and I can sympathize with what they go through. The daily workload is taxing to say the least and the constant exposure to people can and does wear people down. To cope, niceties are given the boot and people stick to just the facts. Ultimately behind the facade I could tell that the staff care. They are just trying to survive. Once I saw and interacted with Dr Winsome Parchment I was very grateful that I allowed myself to go through with the appointment instead of cancel and reschedule with another practice. Best of luck to everyone.

We just talk throughout the whole thing and she always remembers any questions I have before I even ask them. I definitely recommend this office. Worth the travel. He told me I could not make an appt. because Medicare would not cover it. I told him they would as they cover mammograms every year and PAP test every 2 years. And since I PAID OUT OF POCKET in 2023 for the exam they should cover it. He was beyond rude and said no I cannot give you an appt. because it's not covered. Like who the HELL is he to tell me what is covered and what isn't. I asked to speak to office staff he says NO. I said I have been going to Dr. Martin for 8 years and I need to make an appt. He says (mind you this is June 2024) that there are no appts. until next year and hung up.....OK so I decided to take it a step further. I wrote a personal and confidential note to Dr. Martin explaining what happened and how disappointed I was that I could no longer go to her because I was not allowed to make an appt. with her office without going through the red tape in Calcutta, India......Of course she never answered me either. She is just part of the CAMPUS now.....which is Summit Medical CORPORATE that now owns their staff. They are instructed to see one patient every 10 minutes whether they like it or not...Very sad that this is what doctors will do for a paycheck. No longer about you or me, more about the $$$$ at the end of the day. Well Good Luck with that! Found a new doctor and asked if he was part of Summit Medical Group...his response "HELL NO".
