She also takes the time to hear patient concerns and ask any questions. I have been on the pill for years, and she is always asking how the medication is going for me. I was referred here from my general practitioner once I found out that we were expecting... and in the past nine months, we had such a stellar experience. I have been wanting to write this review since my first visit, but held off until birth because I obviously wanted to share my entire experience. I've had early morning appointments and afternoon appointments, and of course, the morning has very little wait time, but unfortunately, the afternoon wait times can get a bit long depending on what's going on. If you are flexible with your schedule, there's no issue, but I commute from NYC for my job, and their latest appointment time was 4:15pm, which can throw a kink in schedules (especially when you have to come once a month!). The staff - from the receptionist to the vital-tracking team, has always been wonderful. They are friendly, thoughtful, and communicate well. Make sure to ask any questions you have (lab results, what to expect on your next visit, etc), and, if you're on the "pregnancy track" there, take the extra time in your first appointment to lay out what's important to you, etc. During my pregnancy, I had a small concern, so my Dr. ordered bloodwork immediately, no questions asked. I appreciated the prompt suggestion to just "rule it out" by getting a test, and was able to come right in without an actual appointment. I ended up needing an induction, and Dr. Gaudino was at the hospital in time to help coach with the L&D Team, as well as oversee any recovery help I needed. She even came back to the hospital to check on me after a day or two - all smiles and congratulations and excitement. Her manner has always been honest, thoughtful, and thorough. Anything I asked, she gave an honest opinion and wasn't too proud or egotistical to look to other sources or specialists if there was something I felt needed attention. I'm not sure about the negative reviews on Dr. G. I've never had a bad experience with her or her office staff. I've gone to her since I was a teenager and will continue to do so as long as I live within a reasonable radius. Dr. G has always put me at ease during my visits. She is easy to talk to, professional, and knowledgeable. Any interaction that I've had with the office staff has been pleasant and efficient. I've recommended Dr. G to several of my friends and they have loved her just as much as I do. Her office is clean, has sufficient parking, and is easy to locate. read more

I went to her for a well check which I have no copay for. I received a bill stating 10 minute out patient phone call for which she never called me I called office and they said well if I had any issue during check up it's no longer a well check. And I have to pay it. So then she shouldn't ask any questions during the visit if they will change it to a problem to collect more money from ins and the patients and it still doesn't explain the out patient phone call. At a well ck for my daughter they told her to leave a urine and then charged her a $50 copay saying they checked it so it's now a problem visit when she didn't ask to leave it. She also charged for iud ck just because she saw the string during Pap test. This is dishonest and sounds like ins fraud! read more

Doctor gaudino is a nice lady. I saw her once and I liked her right away. Unfortunately I'm leaving this 2 star review for her rude and abrupt office staff. I've had a concern that I needed to see her again for for a pre existing condition and made an appointment, which was canceled by the office and rescheduled three times! I had asked if she could call me to discuss the issue I'm having and she does not do phone consultations. My patients are gone and I will find another doctor to see who can keep appointments that are made. Canceling appointments three times is unacceptable especially when it happens the same day all three times. I'm very disappointed. read more

If you like to spend 28 hours in the hospital, for a routine 15 minute procedure, this is the doctor for you. If she is not available, there is no backup system in place. It took 6 hours of calling her back-up on call doctor and emergency numbers before anybody responded. They never responded to us, just the hospital admins when they called to inform them we were switching doctors. Each time that happened, they randomly had us admitted for the night, or scheduled another blind ultrasound since it has been 8 hours since they last responded for the last one. They even randomly had my wife checked for kidney stones, because they "didn't know how to do the correct paperwork, and that was close enough." After 28 hours, we ended up going with a different, random doctor. This office just never showed up, and left us holding the bill for 2 nights in the hospital, 3 ultrasounds, then the original procedure we came in for. Exactly what you want for your pregnancy complications, right? Dr. Gaudino eventually called to see why we were upset. We explained that we never heard from her partner once in 20+ hours, and the hospital needed his orders to proceed. She responded "You know what. I'm on pain killers and can't legally give you advice. You need to figure this out on your own." We were polite and understanding the whole time, and they rewarded that with the most horrific experience. I recommend you avoid the gamble and avoid her and especially her backup Dr. Diarbakerli. That guy needs to choose a new career that he actually has passion for. read more

I've visited Dr. Gaudino's office last year for my yearly check up. She was good, no complains. Her staff however, not helpful at all. Very rude and don't care about costumer service. What So EVer! I recently had another visit and the staff once again was very unhelpful. Upon arriving they did not notice me or make any contact. I signed myself in, no "hello, welcome" nothing. I was ignored, I sat there for 15mins before she realized I was there. Finally she called me up for a question about my insurance. I did not have the physical card with me on hand and the front desk girl did not want to take me nor give me any options. After I had taken off work for this appointment she tells me I have to reschedule. I thought it was very unhelpful. Instead of giving me options she just basically said my other option was to pay out of pocket? Why would I have to do that when I already pay for insurance? I was waiting for my card to come in the mail. I did however have an email with my id member number but she refused. I walked out the office due to lack of help. I will no longer be a patient thanks to the front desk girl! read more

Absolutely awful doctor, awful staff. She was recommended by a coworker. I had gone to this doctor twice previously for annual exams. Each year, she prescribed me a specific birth control pill. This year, she suddenly decided that since I get aura migraines, I might be at a higher risk of stroke if I take this specific pill. She asked me to get a note from my neurologist saying that it was okay for me to take the pill. Fine, no problem. The neurologist sent a note within the same day as my appointment with Dr. Gaudino. I called her office the following day, and confirmed with her staff that she had indeed received the note. The staff said she would then call in a prescription for my birth control. I checked with the pharmacy that night. Nothing. So I called the staff again the next day, and again, they said they had the note and would definitely call it in. I checked with the pharmacy the following morning. Nothing. This was the day before Memorial Day weekend. When I did not hear back from her by Wednesday of this week, I assumed that she was not going to fill my script and took off of work and went to Planned Parenthood to get a script for my birth control. This was a huge inconvenience for me but it had to be done. Today (30 May - 9 days after my appointment), she called me to tell me that despite the note from my neurologist, she does not feel comfortable writing me a script for the birth control. I told her that she should have called me a week ago for this, and she had no response other than to "go see another doctor who probably won't care about the migraines". DO NOT go to this doctor. She should have outright told me she did not want to prescribe the medication, not asked for a note that she knew she would never use. She also should have told me this immediately. It was a waste of time for me and my neurologist. Would not recommend her to anyone. I am only grateful that I had enough of my prescription left that I was able to get to Planned Parenthood and get it refilled, otherwise, I would have been stuck without it for a month. They do not do their jobs. read more

Dr. Gaudino is a wonderful doctor. I have been going to her for over 4 years. I found her via recommendation when I became pregnant with my 2nd child and my former OBGYN was no longer practicing. She was so wonderful throughout my pregnancy and during delivery via C-section. She always takes the time to listen, she gave me her cell number when I was close to delivery and had an issue, and she's just a funny, warm woman. I continue to go to her even though I have moved over 40 minutes away. I highly recommend Dr. Gaudino. read more

The office staff is always pleasant to work with, and I have always gone in at my allotted appointment time. I'm usually out of the office from anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on what my appointment is for that day. There is always plenty of parking. The Dr is a darling, but that office staff is a nightmare. They are the worse via phone. I went to this Dr because of the good review on yelp. When we went the staff was great and this was a Saturday, Monday I called and was like WTF happened. Mind you, this Dr shares an office with another Dr, so it may be the others dr's staff that is rude, but still as a patient i shouldn't have to deal with this. I was rushed off the phone and no information was given to me. I was so mad, I had to calm down and call back the next day. Lucky I got the same woman I dealt with that actually works for Dr. Silvana. She was happy and helpful. In short you will wait on hold forever, you will be rushed off the phone if you ask more than 2 questions, you will not get any reminders about follow up visits and i don't mean for the following week, i mean 3 months off, they don't take cards, and they will not always call the pharmacy but want you to call and ask the pharmacy to call them. Sorry but there are too many doctors out here, to have to settle for this nonsense. read more

Love this doctor and her staff! I started going here about four years ago when my previous doctor abruptly up and closed her practice. After my first visit with Dr. Gaudino, based on my answers to her questions, she knew something wasn't right with me. For my own safety, she took me off of my birth control pills as I am a migraine sufferer. After a short time, she sent me for a series of tests and found out that I had cysts on my ovaries. I eventually had surgery which was a smooth process from start to finish. Each time I visit, the staff is wonderful to me. I'm preparing for another surgical procedure which was originally postponed because I didn't receive medical cardiologic clearance in time. I totally respect Dr. Gaudino for postponing the procedure as I could have had fatal complications. While all of her staff is great, I have to say that Gina is phenomenal as she follows up when she says she will and will make as many phone calls as it takes to help you. While no one looks forward to have any kinds of surgery, I'm grateful that I chose Dr. Gaudino and her team and I'm confident that I will be ok. read more

Although the doctor was very nice, the office assistants were not great. They rarely answer the phone, keep you on hold for extended periods of time and are not the most helpful. I was in a high risk situation and felt that the doctor was not as knowledgeable with the most recent medical advances in obstetrics. This review is more for the staff at the front desk as opposed to Dr. Gaudino. Dr. Gaudino herself was very friendly and professional, and if not for her staff, I would be returning. Her staff, however, is extremely disorganized and quite frankly - rude. My first visit was at lunch time, which understandably can be a busy time. The air conditioner was broken (it was about 90 degrees out), and although I had an appointment scheduled for noon, I wasn't taken into the back room until 1pm. I understand that things happen but when I asked about an ETA the receptionist barked at me. Once in the room, I waited an additional 20 min just waiting for Dr. Gaudino to arrive. The staff should not have brought me back to sit undressed for 20 minutes, and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I received a prescription for birth control, but when I tried to have it filled by Medco (my company's mail order prescription drug plan), they notified me that Dr. Gaudino's office would need to call it in directly and afterwards I would have it delivered in about 2 weeks. I called and spoke to a representative at the front desk, gave all the information, instructions, and phone numbers that they needed. 2 weeks later - nothing. I called Medco only to learn that it was NEVER called in! I called Dr. Gaudino's office again - a different woman this time, and she apologized, said that the person who I spoke to was no longer there at the office. Okk....I provided her with the exact same information, instructions, etc. And just today I received a message from Dr. Gaudino's office again - yet ANOTHER different person, saying she was told to call in the prescription but didn't understand exactly what she's supposed to do from there but it's 3:55pm on a Friday afternoon and the office is closing for the weekend so I should call back on Monday. Firstly, it concerns me that this office doesn't know how to call in a prescription. It's for birth control, the same one I've been on for 4 years! Secondly, WHY am I having to deal with a 3rd person at the office?? And thirdly, WHY would you call 5 minutes before you're leaving for the weekend when you had 2 full days to handle this and now I'm left without my birth control and my body is going to be all out-of-whack. It's quite unfortunate, because I did very much like Dr. Gaudino, but I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the office and staff - incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete nightmare. read more

I went here to confirm my pregnancy via a blood test and to check it out in general, since it's quite close and Dr. Silvana had great reviews. SHE is lovely--open minded, kind, funny, and wicked smart. But the office staff made this an absolute no-go for me. There was mass confusion over what I wanted when I made the appointment (with the intake nurse/assistant going so far as to REPRIMAND me for not following their random protocol), a 1 hour wait, and then a call with my test results TEN MINUTES before they closed on a Friday afternoon. I missed the call and needed to wait all weekend to call back. When I did, I was put on hold for 10 minutes, shuffled around, asked repeatedly what my name was, and then snapped at that, "she was on the phone with an insurance company." The woman relaying my test results actually said "I have no idea" in response to my very simple question, with no offer to ask the doctor or give me a call back with an answer. Dr. Silvana, I hope you get some better help soon--like I said, you are fantastic. But I have zero interest in being treated this way by your staff for the next 9 months. read more
