I was supposed to take before and after photos but I was so harassed with getting ready for the wedding in three days (yes, in our home) that we were all lucky I didn't lose my mind in the middle of rug cleaning. That being said , this company made it as absolutely painless as possible. They are good. The carpets, which basically need replacing, looked awesome when they were done with them. I would recommend them highly to anyone. The cost is more than Rug Doctor and less than other companies, the rugs were 80% dry within two hours, the 20% damp areas were those triple treated for pet odors or severe staining. I will be calling them again now that we have recuperated from the wedding and get them cleaned again for US. When I do I will post before & after photos. It's pretty impressive. read more

Not only were John and his son, Mason, very pleasant and professional, but they both did an outstanding job in cleaning the carpets, as well as getting out the strong cat urine stains and odors, which is no small feat! Knowing that the process was void of harmful chemicals was definitely one of the main reasons for choosing this company. A bonus is that the carpet drys a WHOLE lot quicker that conventional methods! Saw the good reviews and had previously used another "dry chem" service several years ago and we were impressed with the results then. That company isn't available, so we called Chem-Dry and booked an appointment for the next week. Rob called before he showed up with an expected arrival time, and he was within the 3 hour window that had been previously scheduled. Rob showed us what "services" they provided and we choose 2, cleaning and sanitizing. He was very professional and flexible to our conditions, we only made about 900 sq ft of rug available due to furniture issues, things we weren't going to move, he cleaned around them. It took about 2 hours and he was done, the carpets looked great for 25 year old Oatmeal woven Berber. Very fair price for what we had done! We will definitely have them back a lot sooner than 15 years! read more

I have used AV CHEM DRY a number of times thru out the years. I have always been booked an appt in a surprising quick time. Never once have been unsatisfied. I am super impressed with the professionalism from the team members of AV CHEM DRY. I have even added areas that originally weren't booked to be cleaned & the team that was cleaning my carpets were more than happy to fit those areas into their cleaning schedule. I've used other carpet cleaning companies before I found Chem Dry. I would have to keep my dogs outside for several hours, have the kids go to a friend's home after school etc. All to avoid walking on wet carpets. Not with Chem Dry. I can have them cleaned at 9 am and soon after carpets can be walked on. I highly recommend AV CHEM DRY anytime you need your carpets, sofas, or tiles cleaned. read more

This company is very respectful to my home anytime they come in they put the covering over their shoes and they make sure they work hard to get the stains out I had some really hard stained spots and they did get it out and when they couldn't get it all they were honest and let me know that they couldn't so I really like this company I have used them a few times now I've been to some of the bigger names and my carpets were still dirty but I've had my carpets cleaned about 2 months ago and they're still clean even in those high traction areas there is one young man that I can't remember his name but he's come to me more than once and he's been great. I will definitely be using them again in the near future and I also have referred them to family this is a very good company the customer service is great and it's hard to find that these days. read more

After looking at a couple places on google, I decided to try this company and I am not disappointed! The lady (Mimi) I spoke to was very helpful and friendly, even got me a sooner appointment due to a cancelation so that was great. The person who cleaned the carpets was also very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. And the price was definitely reasonable for the outcome! He finished at 11:30 and we got home at 3 to find it almost dried already! They claim 4 to 6 hours to completely dry. It also did not smell like other companies afterwards, it has a nice scent to it. We had used this company previously to dry up a water leak. We decided to use them again but this time for carpet cleaning due to getting a new dog. We wanted to clean up the old urine stains from our prior dog. While we had neither a visible stain nor order, the stain was still visible via a UV flashlight we used. When the Chem Dry people came out they used their UV/blacklight flashlight and showed all the pet stains on the carpet. They stated the extra 75 dollar charge (on top of the regular carpet cleaning fee) for the PURT service would take care of the problem. Later that night, when I was about to replace all the furniture (BTW, they removed no furniture, not even a vacuum cleaner that was standing right next to a pet stain), I discovered with my UV flashlight that their cleaning removed not a one of the pet stains. When the Chem Dry finally returned to my house, they claimed PURT did remove the stain and odor, via some microbes that break down the urine composition. When I asked why didn't the microbes break down the residue that formed the urine stains that are still visible under uv light. They had no answer. I advised them that I had a product that did break down the pet stains (ARM & Hammer Pet & stain removal-used prior to them coming out but it involved a lot of scrubbing). The chem dry people advised against me using that product because the residue of the product attracts dust and dirt. I stated that at least it completely removed the urine. I am upset for two reasons. 1) They mislead me with their PURT add-on product. I would not have added it to the carpet cleaning if they would have stated up front it does not completely remove the stain. 2) They never apologized for not giving me what I thought I was getting. Nor made any attempt to make me a happy returning customer. No attempt. They simply left my house and they left me with the impression I was waisting "their" time. read more

My carpets were neglected thanks to my pregnancy. As a new mom had did not have the time or energy to clean my carpets. With a tiny chihuahua - terrier that liked to disappear to his favorite spot, my new carpet was losing the battle. I tried with spot cleaners but eventually it could no longer fight the stains. I could always smell the residual urine. I called AV Chem. The LA guys that are on TV don't go out this far. The gentleman was on time, clean and thorough. I had him use the pet stain and odor remover in the one room. It worked wonderfully! He got out a Crystal Lite red stain I never could with other machines! I can feel good that any pet accidents are gone- and so is the little dog- and my daughter can crawl and walk on clean carpets! Had a wonderful experience! The gentleman who cleaned my items was super nice and friendly. I had bad pet stains on a mattress that my roommate used, and abused. Because the price was just right, I had my couch, another mattress, and an area rug cleaned as well, because I loved the quality of cleaning that I received on the first mattress.
