This review is for Daniel Corrales with Anson Electric who did an AMAZING job installing our new camera. It was not an easy job and he was so patient and knowledgeable. He worked diligently and was respectful of our property. He took care of it like it was his own and we are so very grateful!! Thank you much Anson and Daniel!! I also want to add that this is not our first time using Anson as we had them put in a few outlets, 2 ceiling fans and a light fixture a week ago. We had planned on the job taking 2 days to complete but they finished it in one day! It wasn't rushed either. They are just so efficient! If you want professionalism, reasonable rates, and exceptional quality work, seriously, look no further when you need electrical work done! Thank you Anson from one very satisfied and grateful customer! read more

Hired them to add an electrical outlet for a wall mount tv. Arrived on time. Finished the job & cleaned up after themselves. Easy to get quote and make an appointment. Would hire them again. read more

I was looking for someone who would repair electric sockets on a Tiffany table lamp. They were real great about it, even though they do not do that kind of repair. They did do their best to guide me to some possible Companies. I appreciate their efforts very much. read more

We had a ceiling fan removed and replaced by a new one.(Their cost was $100 less than someone I had used to do a similar job 5 years ago) I will definitely call Anson Electric again and recommend them to my friends. Teresa, who scheduled the work, is the perfect blend of friendly and professional. She texted the estimated arrival times and had excellent communication. Charles did great work and was efficient and tidy. When I noticed that the ceiling medallion above the fan wasn't perfectly centered, Teresa scheduled Joel to come out the next day to adjust it, and he made it perfect. Everyone I had contact with is great and I am happy to have such a great company in my contact list for the future. read more

One of our outdoor lights blew out after a rain storm and caused other lights to go out as well. The technician was able to troubleshoot the problem and got power running to the box again. Reinstalled new light fixtures outside. High quality work! read more

Although I did not end up hiring their services I want to comment how wonderful they are. I contacted David, the owner, through Yelp and he came to my place and sent me a reasonable estimate by email within 24 hours. Teresa is the best. She followed up and it was a pleasure to talk to. I will definitely keep their number for the future. read more

This is our second time working with Anson Electric and again we HIGHLY recommend David and his team! Just like the first time, we received the most positive and prompt response from David. He also gave us the best quote for the work to be done, and fit us into the schedule within a few days. Alonso was the electrician who was assigned to our project. He was punctual, courteous, patient and cheerful. He wore a mask and followed all safety precautions. He made sure he knew what we were envisioning, and explained and clarified what was to be done so we could make informed decisions before he went to get supplies. The recessed lights Alonso selected for the project were perfect and he made time to explain how we could change the settings if needed and how we could remove fixtures before we painted the ceiling. Alonso completed the work in record time, and even made time to put in an additional outlet that we requested at the last minute. He left everything clean and tidy and everything works perfectly! David and his team are not only really good electricians, they are also polite, positive and very professional. David is an honest, kind and understanding individual. He was available via text throughout the appointment and made every effort to answer all our questions and make sure all of our requests were accommodated. David and Alonso also went above and beyond to help us install backing and screw back patches of drywall when they learned we were going to be painting the ceiling ourselves. We are thrilled with our new lights and outlet, but especially appreciate the wonderful service we received!! We highly recommend Anson Electric and will definitely use them for all our future electrical projects. read more

To say that Dave is a great electricians and overall good guy is a sore understatement. I needed some electrical fixes in my house as a result of a screw up by the contractors who remodeled my home and Dave was amazing. In less than 8 hours he had fixed every issue. To top it off- I was in a major time crunch and he worked around my availability and always with graciousness. I felt like I was his only client due to the great attention he gave me. He was always quick to respond and worth every cent he charged (which in my opinion was not a lot) I would have happily paid twice as much for the great work and service. Thank you so much Dave!!! read more

This is from a professional standpoint rather than a personal experience. In my industry we occasionally have to utilize subcontractors to complete portions of our workload. Often times we use electricians if new panels or upgrades are necessary. Over the summer we had several jobs requiring an electrician to get our scope of work completed. Without using names we had a few other companies out to take a look and Anson Electric was BY FAR the best rate, scheduling, and quality of work. I've reached out to then for several projects since our initial and he has never let me down. I've also recommended him to friends and clients for work that had nothing to do with my business. The service, the quality of work, and the rates are beyond exceptional and I would be happy to continue to recommend Dave and his crew time and again. read more

David provided an initial estimate for free on an electrical panel relocation and for installing 6 can lights in my living room. His team members Eddie and Trenton came back to do the work and did a fantastic job. The team was clean, professional, and very thoughtful throughout the whole process. While relocating my electrical panel (from inside a bathroom to the other side of the wall), they rewired everything so that the breakers made actual sense in function (kitchen, general lights, etc). When installing the can lights, they asked for my opinion on where to install the 6 lights. They were very thoughtful in the placement and even centered the lights to match the centerline of my fireplace, which I never would have considered. I would highly recommend Anson Electric for all your electrical needs. Pricing is very competitive and favorable compared to other quotes I'd received. You will receive a high level of professionalism, thoughtfulness, and workmanship if you choose to go with them. read more

The crew from Anson just left after a full day of installing 6 ceiling fans in our house. They did an amazing job, no mistakes, no mess. They came with their masks on, and were very communicative throughout the day. David came last week to look at all the locations and sent us a quote that was very reasonable. Within minutes if accepting the quote via email we got a call from the office to schedule the work. Got a reminder email the day before, and the crew showed up on time. read more

This is the second time using Anson Electric and both were excellent. I had three minor electrical needs and I received attention and scheduling of a major job. Alonso was on time and explained what he intended to do. He was well organized and efficient. There was no cleanup necessary once finished. Dave and his team are great and professional. I had contacted a handful of other electricians and they either never called me back or were not prompt in delivering an estimate. Dave was able to stop by to personally walk through our projects and provided an estimate in a timely matter. His estimate was fair and my neighbors have already asked for his contact info after seeing his work. We had his team do a slew of electric random projects: convert cfl cans to LED cans, install recessed lighting where there was none before, install a junction box for a chandelier, add LED under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, and change cfl tubes in the garage for a hanging LED tube. They did it all and were super professional, handled the drywall repair, and cleaned up after their work. Anson will be my go-to electrician from now on! read more

After loosing faith in mankind and being ripped off a couple of times you stop trusting who you hire.. Well I'm happy to say after finding Dave from Anson electric, he bought back my faith in human kindness.. Besides taking a mess of a job and fixing every problem, he did it with lots of patience and skill... Trust me when I say call Dave if you need work done.. Just call, you won't go wrong! I wish I had found him first before going through 2 others and a ton of money.. I finally feel safe and have working lights instead of decorations.. His work is awesome!! I don't give a lot of reviews, good or bad, but from here on I will especially when you find someone with honesty and integrity...people should hear about it! read more

Work done - Install a 240v outlet for my electric car. Not much to say here except that Dave was very professional, on time, did clean work and has great prices for what I requested. Most of the people that quoted me for the work I wanted was about 2-3x what I paid. Highly recommended. read more

Wouldn't recommend this company. Work is good but pricing isn't reasonable. I needed 2 additional outlets. Chose this co cuz they had excellent reviews. One of my new outlets was easy, took half an hr, and didn't require any additional lines from the attic. The other one was a little more complex and took an hr. Got charged the same same price for each. When i was calling comparing various co's, everyone pointed out that the work depends on the complexity & time spend. Work was good but overpriced. read more

David and his team (Eddie/Matt/Wyatt) are all very professional. I had a larger residential project that involved trenching/main panel swap and even threw in a curve ball with a smart Span sub panel install. David went the extra mile to take their online course and obtained the certifications to install it for us. Install went smooth, communication was good and would use Anson Electric in the future for sure. read more

We wanted our Santee, CA condo updated with LED lighting. We commend their support and installation staff for their professionalism and work quality. We are thrilled with the chandelier installed over the stairwell using the existing light switch at the bottom and top of the stairs. A photo of the chandelier is included. We were looking to install ceiling lights (CAN lights) and fans in all the rooms of our house. David came for an initial consultation and guided us on where and how we can install the lights. The estimate price was within our budget with no additional costs or fees other than the estimate. The team that came for installation was very professional. They finished all the work according to the time estimate and also made additional adjustments in schedule when I requested to add more lights than previously decided. The estimate also included the price and scheduled for drywall and painting after the job. Highly recommend Anson electric. 5-stars all the way!! read more

David is an awesome guy, electrician, and business owner! David came out quickly and fixed our electrical wiring on a light switch that stopped working and installed new outlets so quickly and professionally! He even ran to home depot for some extra parts to make sure everything worked and was matched just right. Great pricing as well. Would definitely recommend and use again! read more

I've had great experiences with this company. I first contacted David, the owner, for an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on the dot, and gave me a fair estimate. He was also very responsive to some e-mails I sent to him afterwards. The actual work was done today. Joel and Jose arrived exactly on time, and because it was a big job, stayed from 8AM until 3:30PM. They were great workers, and very efficient and professional. They also could not have been nicer or more helpful. I have additional work to be done, and look forward to continuing my relationship with Anson. read more

Rapid response to my Yelp request and Dave scheduled an appointment within a few days. I asked for a few external power outlets to be replaced and new weather covers installed. Dave showed up on time and got to work right away. He completed the job without any further delay. I asked for a quote on an additional project, but haven't heard back yet. That is the only reason this review isn't five stars. I'll update it when Dave gets back to me. Dave got back to me this morning with the quote I asked for. I've updated my review to five stars. read more

David and his team are awesome! From the initial call his office was so courteous and respectful. We set up time for an estimate and got an appointment that same week. David came out assessed the job and quote a great price. He told us he would be in contact to set up the repair. Spoke to him a few days later and was set up for the following week. Joel was prompt and very knowledgeable of his craft. He was able to find an outside source to power of an old shed that 4 different companies were unable to do. He set up our ring doorbell, fixed an old electrical outlet and set up a new electrical outlet that we wanted before we lay a concrete banister. Great work, excellent company! read more

Did a fantastic job! Was fast & efficient! Referring him to a friend.

Recently my mom and her '50s- era home had issues and David Dawson was one of the first to contact me when I requested quotes. I have already recommended him to several of my friends and decided I should share this on Yelp as well. So many good points which I'll bullet below: -David is extremely courteous and his prices are very fair. -I appreciated his responsiveness to my many questions, which I know can be tiresome. -When presented with challenges with the old wiring, he was quick to come up with options on how to tackle them and was straightforward with ideas on how to save money, too, which is very appreciated! -I'm looking forward to the opportunity to have him work with us on other projects in the future at my house as well. -Contact David; you'll be glad you did! read more

Communication with David was great! Alonzo and Jose arrived on time and were wearing masks, which is good. They did a great job installing our high ceiling chandelier. Lee and Juanita, Spring Valley--In recent months Anson teams have been at our home a lot--rewiring, motion light repair. And, because we just switched to an electric water heater to use our solar panels, a team installed the wiring we need. All of it done well, with integrity, and fair price. When we needed follow up on motion lights, Matt did the troubleshooting (more challenging that expected) with a good result. Both lights are working great. And just yesterday we needed a follow up on the water heater installation. Facing a weekend without hot water, Daniel came late Friday afternoon (when he thought he was done for the week) and got a pigtail installed and Voila! It all works. read more

David is very accommodating on when we need to have the job done. I just sent out a msg to him yesterday and today they came in before the call time, but my mom is here so no problem. I've called and tried to get help from over 20 electricians on Yelp. Even though I was technically outside of the service area for Dave and he knew it might be a waste of his effort to come out and give me an estimate, he decided to do so anyways. He is one of only 2 people that gave my project the time of day. He gave me the best price I had received or even heard of to this point and showed willingness to recognize parts that could be reused and whatnot which saved me a ton of money. The first guy missed this and was charging me more than 4 times the amount Dave did. Highly recommend giving Dave a call. read more

Outstanding! Very quick, very polite, very clean, very professional. Job (ceiling fan removal/install) went off without a hitch!

Great company, great people. Very responsive and reliable. Keep the schedule. Affordable price. High quality work. Both Dave (the owner) and Matt worked on installation of outdoor lighting on my new patio pergola. They did it professionally, hiding the conduits as much as possible, so the conduits do not dominate visually at all.
